1 block to beach - 3 BR/3.5 Bath, Private Elevator, Pool in Gated Community!

Back on the rental market! Located just 1 block from the beach, across from CB lake with a nice walking trail, and 2 blocks from the Carolina Beach boardwalk in a gated community. You can park your cars and walk to everything the rest of the week.

The condo is two stories with a living room, kitchen, half bath and Master Bedroom/Bath (King bed) on the second story and another master bedroom/bath (King bed) and Queen Bedroom /Bath on the first story. The private elevator is accessed from the garage and is very handy when unloading suitcases and groceries. The garage is set up for an extra area to hang out and play games. Please note that if you have small children, there are stairs you need to be careful and bring a child gate if needed.

The kitchen is stocked with everything you might need for a wonderful week.

The pool is open May-Sept and guests must obey community rules.

Get ready to be "wowed" by this 1,900 sq. ft. luxury condo in the heart of Carolina Beach. With well appointed finishes, hard wood floors throughout, and close proximity to the beach, who could ask for more in a vacation home to rent.

The great room has high ceilings, natural light, comfortable furnishings, and a fully equipped kitchen. This is where everyone will want to gather to enjoy their time together while "inside". Once outside, the ocean and beach await just off your doorstep. There is a private pool & deck as well, with an outdoor grilling area. The gated complex provides added security and ensures that no one will steal your 2 parking spots. But, if you have company visiting - there is a pay-to park lot next door.

The lake park across the street is a great place to walk or run. There is a newly installed playground . On Saturdays, there is a farmers market/craft fair and on Sunday evenings they play kids movies on a large blow-up screen. In the Summer, the boardwalk has carnival with rides and games. Bingo on Wednesday's and music and fireworks on Thursday evenings.

There is plenty to do in Carolina Beach and you will find it a great place for your family to vacation. Come experience how spacious and luxurious this condominium is.

Only one dog is permitted up to 40 pounds and certain breeds are excluded based on HOA guidelines.

Perfect vacation getaway!
It is a beautiful condo. We had plenty of room. Very clean and neat. The elevator was awesome for bringing in everything from the vehicles . We enjoyed being in walking distance of the beach and restaurants . A perfect place to spend a vacation.

September beach trip
Lovely Condo with good security- one block from the beach. Very clean with all the supplies we needed to have a great vacation. We brought our dog and bikes and had a great location to the town restaurants as well. Park nearby to walk our puppy. Dedicated parking spot. Balcony was a bit small but we did get out and enjoyed the breeze.

Late summer vacation
We enjoyed our stay at the Salty Mermaid the last week of August 2020. The condo was as advertised - very nicely furnished, spacious and clean. It was a short walk to the beach and we enjoyed our beach chair and umbrella rentals from Pleasure Island Rentals. The location was right on the main road, which was super convenient, but on Saturday and Sunday nights the road noise was very loud until the early morning hours - the rest of the week traffic noise was light. Things were definitely impacted by the COVID pandemic: the pool was closed, the lake park activities were closed and the lake area was a bit neglected - all understandable due to these trying times. The Carolina Boardwalk was nice. We enjoyed a number of local restaurants. Would definitely recommend this property to others looking for a Carolina Beach getaway.

Second stay just as great as last year
We very much appreciated the very quick responses from the owner when we had questions relating to Covid and the recent hurricane. The condo was very clean when we arrived and everything was in great shape just as we remembered it from 2019. We absolutely love the location. Very short walk to beach, boardwalk, lake, many restaurants, and most importantly for my son, the gelato store!

Beautiful condo, excellent location!
My family and I had an AMAZING in Carolina Beach, while staying at The Salty Mermaid! The condo was beautiful and the location was amazing ! Being one block from the beach is very convenient for quick trips back and forth to the condo. The owner Maureen was a pleasure to work with, her communication was superb and very prompt. I will say that the on-site residents / HOA are “ very involved” with the daily operations within the community. Pay attention to the guidelines and rules provided by Maureen, as you will be reminded of them, every so often 😏I would absolutely recommend this property and would definitely stay here again!

Great Condo and Location
Condo very nice and spacious. Well-equipped and clean. Very short walk to beach, lake, boardwalk and some other coffee shops and restaurants. Walking distance to a bike rental place and the garage is perfect for parking bikes when not in use. Squigley’s Ice Cream, Hang Ten Restaurant and CB Surf Shop are all right across the street which we enjoyed. The Veggie Wagon, also a very short walk, has take and bake prepared food items like flatbread, lasagna, pizza, quiche etc which was perfect for meals at home. We had a great experience!

We had a great time at Carolina Beach The condo was great and was so great of a location walking distance to the boardwalk, beach restaurants The condo itself was awesome and my grandchildren loved having a pool The owner was wonderful to work. Great quality and easy walk to CB boardwalk
The condo was clean and fairly spacious and its furnishings were very clean and of good quality. We were amazed to find such a high quality place with a pool and within easy walking distance to the beach and the Carolina Beach Boardwalk. Perfect for our family!

I love the beach - it's my happy place. I wanted a place big enough that the kids can come with their friends and be able to walk to everything. It's located next to a lake that lots of activities take place on during the summer like the Art Festival, Carolina Beach music festival, Saturday market, and Sunday. night movies.The beach has nice soft sand and never feels crowded.

Why they chose this property

Finding a condo with 3 1/2 baths was unique this close to the beach. We also liked the gated community to ensure our guests are safe. The private elevator is great for bringing groceries and suitcases up. The pool of course after a day at the beach as well.
