About this property

Renovated in 2016, this is the 2nd floor of a 2 unit house w/a separate entrance. 11 ft ceilings, restored red pine floors, new kitchen w/suite of stainless Samsung appliances. Bedrooms have comfortable full size beds. Claw foot tub in renovated bath. A washer and dryer, as well as an iron and board, are located off the bath in a utility room.

Tandem parking, or use a space in the parking lot across from the house. Near the heart of downtown - drive or walk. A block away from Mardi Gras routes.

Why they chose this property

This house is located on a unique, charming small street in midtown, just steps away from downtown nightlife. This was formerly a single family house, in the style of many of the houses in the area that have an historic marker. It has the original red pine floors, high ceilings on both floors, and the original fireplace mantles. The location and the feel of the neighborhood are two of the main reasons I bought the house. My brother and I have another property on the same street that's bigger, if you're looking for more space.
