Eclectic + Charming + Cozy

Our stay in Northport was absolutely wonderful thanks to our host, Christina. She has created such an eclectic, charming, and cozy studio. And the grounds around the studio are serenely magical. She was easy to communicate with and her dogs, Liza and Ella are such good girls! Christina offered up solid recommendations about hiking and where to eat. We didn’t want to leave!! Thank you Christina!! We will be back!!

PERFECT place in Northport

There is no better place in Northport that I could imagine. The flowers fill your windows with every glance outside, the view is stunning of the peaceful gardens. The VERY large space - larger than it appears in the images - is sparkling clean and homey as can be with excellent art choices and the perfect number of chairs/tables for an extended stay. It is about 6 short blocks to the center of Northport and the marina which is perfect because who wants to be in the center of the hub-bub, when you can slightly stretch your legs and end up with a great coffee while you browse the farmers market, or sit on a bench and watch harbor. The most friendly of dogs that guarded our host but softened toward us as our stay extended. Just cant be happier with our choice!!

My son stayed in Christina’s lovely apartment for 12 heavenly nights during a big extended family vacation. It’s clean, quiet, well-appointed and so comfortable! Communication with Christina was super easy. I was a little nervous about her dogs at first, but we loved them! All in all - great stay!

Wowza!! What a fabulous place!

We had a wonderful stay at Christina’s vacation studio home. There was everything here we needed and more. She allowed us to use her kayaks to enjoy paddling in Northport bay. We were able to walk into town easily for lunch, dinner, and shopping. Our dog was welcome in Northport at restaurants and made new friends with Christina’s dogs. Views of gorgeous flowers from every window!! We were able to see her load up 2 vans packed with out of this world beautiful wedding flowers for a wedding on Glen Lake. I now will need to have her help with my children’s future weddings as I’ve never seen wedding flowers arrangements like hers before!! She has a floral stand with fresh arrangements for locals to purchase every morning. The bed was very comfortable and we slept like babies every night….12 hours after our 23 mile bike ride/hike. Plus the washer/dryer in our bathroom was super handy. We will be back!

Perfect location to hang your hat!

This studio provided the perfect location to walk into downtown Northport, golf at the nine-hole course across the street, or jump in the car and head north to the State Park to hike and tour the lighthouse. Our three-day stay was comfortable and provided the central location we were looking for. Our host, Christine, was very accessible with anything we needed. Great stay!

Late summer "Up North Getaway"

We had a great time exploring Northport and all the cities along M22 for the first time - Christina was a great host and the property was just great for a couple get away w a furry friend and the grounds and gardens were just beautiful!! Kevin, Paula and Charlie too!

Northport Getaway

Beautiful apartment in a lovely "flower farm" location...with comfy bed, complete kitchen and covered parking. Just a few minutes walk to downtown Northport through picturesque neighborhood. Host is charming and made every effort to make us comfortable and feel welcome. 2 newish dogs on the property. We would love to come back for another week when they are better trained.

Lovely Studio!

It was exactly what we needed. The only issue was the mattress and pillows were not the best. I'm 60 and my husband 67. If we were younger, I'm sure it would have been fine. Not so much for us.

Great location

Nice loft space, worked well for my husband and I. Short easy walk to downtown Northport. Christina and Joe were great hosts, we especially enjoyed borrowing their kayaks (which Joe helped load onto our car) for a beautiful afternoon paddle on the lake!

The definition of "away"! (in a good way)

After a year and a half of pandemic and avoiding people, we weren't ready for the crowds of our college-town home football game so a self-contained studio apartment on a flower farm at the northern tip of the beautiful Leelanau Peninsula (heart of wine and fruit country), was exactly the experience we were looking for. Everything was as indicated in the listing; Christine and Joe are thoughtful hosts (thanks for the beautiful flowers!); Tom's Market had everything we needed to make breakfast in the studio and pack a picnic lunch for our hikes in Leelanau State Park. Northport rolls up its sidewalks on Sunday nights after Labor Day, but Sutton's Bay is a short drive away with plenty of dinner dining options. We are already anticipating our next visit.

Peace found among the flowers

The studio was amazing! The entire space was clean, bright and peaceful. I was welcomed to sit and enjoy my morning tea in the sunshine and pass time in the afternoon in the flower gardens.

peaceful getaway

we loved our time here. the property is adorable and was spotless. the bed was super comfy, always a plus right? nice roomy bathroom with amenities. downtown northport is a short 10 minute walk. we enjoyed breakfast at the bohemian and beer at the mitten. a very relaxing stay.

Quaint and beautiful location

The place was so quaint and such a beautiful location. The grounds had beautiful gardens and it was just a few blocks to the water. The town of Northport was nice to walk around and check out the cool shops and restaurants. I will definitely go back! Thank you for your hospitality Christina and Joe!

Wonderful Mom & Daughter Getaway

Christina's slice of heaven in Northport is perfect. The property is as described, is comfortable, clean, and a wonderful home base in Leelanau County. Her gardens are lovely and make for a nice evening wander about with glass of wine in hand. Northport is a wonderful village and the studio is a very short walk away. Wonderful Northport Stay

We loved our stay at Christina's property. The studio has everything you need and room spread out. The table and chairs in the garden were a wonderful space to spend the evenings. The property is a short walk from restaurants, the marina and shops. We also appreciated that we had a carport and could easily keep our bikes in there. The studio was clean, well-stocked and communication with Christina was great. We can't wait to come back!
