The exterior is far far worse than the pictures show, rot on facia boards, crumbling concrete along the whole face of the house. Mold above washer. The front door was an interior door instead of an exterior door. With EVERY heater on in the house this week it barely stayed 59degrees at night. I will say though hot water was perfect and plentiful, very efficient and effective washer and dryer. 1 of the burners in the oven doesn’t work. Overalll I’d say it’s a decent spot for spring and fall but the exterior needs attention to bring it in line with the obvious old photos of the exterior
This was a nice quiet spot in a safe neighborhood near the beach and shopping. It is a granny unit/ADU in the backyard of the main house, which the host's family lives in. Aaron is very communicative and gracious.
We stayed there 2 days and it was what we expected
There are a few maintenence things to be done.
- left rear stove burner burnt out
- Oven needs cleaning
- mold in the bottom drawer beside entry door
- electric heaters need cleaning
- Bathroom tap needs tighteneng
Other than these issues, we did enjoy our stay.

Cute and clean. Nice to have spices available and water. On the minus side, there was no place to hang up clothes in one bdrm, the beds were in poor condition - ex: one had a 'valley' and it just didn't work for 2 people because they would roll right to the center. Only 2 places to sit and eat, which is odd when the house sleeps 5. However, the value for the cost was good. It was clean, cute, great TV and I enjoyed staying there. Oh! You need to put rails or something to assist old people, like me, getting down those narrow, brick steps. I was afraid I would fall.

Ok for a brief stay
House was a small guest house on a back alley. House was kinda dark and not as easy to access as described. It was ok for a quick stay where you don’t expect to spend much time at the house.
I dont think the pictures do this place true justice. The house is much more full of light than the pictures convey. It felt homey and cozy. Very appreciative of the "extra details" such as the provided laundry detergent and the abundance of bath towels. This place did not skimp. We loved the close proximity to amenities and to parks such as Mukilteo and Forest Park! Excellent for families. Wonderful quiet neighborhood overall.
not skimp.
We found that the place was in a great location and allowed us to easily access not just Everett but also pop on and off the I5 with ease.
The kitchen and bathroom were our favourite parts. The washing machine and dryer were great to use before we continued on our journey after our stay.
The two bedrooms were good. We had an issue with one bed and the Host was able to come over and correct it for us without hesitation and on our schedule.
Though the property does say it sleeps 5, it would be nice to have a bit of a bigger eating area for that many people ( we were a family of 5). Perhaps some sort of folding table that could be used to sit around but then easily put away. We had to have the kids eat on their laps when we made dinner each night.
It was nice to stay in a place that could accommodate our family and not feel all squished together!
Would definitely stay at again though!
Aaron was great. He happened to be on site when arrived and offered any assistance that may be needed. The home was a cute liit 2 bedroom, 1 bath home. It is comfortable and looks like the photos.
The kitchen had almost everything that you would need; pans, silverware and diahes, etc. However, it would have been nice to have a little container of coffee available for guests.
In the bathroom, it was nice, witha washer and dryer if you needed to do laundry for a lengthier stay. I would have liked to see a dispenser in the shower with shampoo, conditioner, and bodywash for guests. With these type of places to stay, it is nice to have it, just as home. Don't need to worry about toiletries. I did not know that i had travel ones in my bag, but ususlly that is not something I have to worry about bringing.
Overall, this was a great stay; a nice, comfortable, close to food and the freeway to get where we needed. I would 100% stay here again.
This was a good location for our needs, and a lovely neighborhood. The drive up was beautiful but a bit dicey, due to all the curves and turns, but maps got us there. Our issue was not knowing exactly how to find the unit. Esp in the dark. It’s a “daylight” cottage, which would have helped us find it. (looks like it’s half buried in the ground from the back).
It was well outfitted with lots of goodies and foods, coffee, and tools. We utilized the kitchen, the bed comfortable. Quite clean.
However, former moisture issues did leave a “dank” smell, and it was a bit humid inside. One bedroom room was so full of dog odor, we could hardly stay at all. Only by leaving that door closed tight could we stay at all…both being allergic to dogs. We thought since dogs weren’t allowed, it would be a clear space for us. Unfortunate for us.
Five stars to the host! Very responsive and promptly got back to us with questions.
The beach house is well equipped. Great neighborhood! Close to everything. Would stay again.
We stayed at this quaint little place for 4 nights while visiting our son who’s stationed there. It was clean, well stocked and fit all of our needs. Would definitely stay again.
We would stay here again. Reasonably priced. Nice quiet neighborhood. I inquired about an iron and ironing board as I was in town for a wedding. I found the board but never found the iron. I ended up borrowing an iron.
