Located in the heart of downtown St. Peter, this second story 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom private apartment will provide you the added space and amenities you desire when you come to visit. Whether you are in town for a Gustavus event, a wedding, or just coming to visit family we would love to host you at our downtown space.

With modern and comfortable furnishings you won't realize you are staying in one of the oldest buildings in town. We hope you feel right at home while enjoying the perfect location. The vaulted ceilings, skylight, over-sized wood doors, and the energy of a small town-downtown are just a few of things we love about this apartment.

The loft sleeps 6 people comfortably with one king, one queen, and one trundle bed.

The fully furnished kitchen with new appliances provides the opportunity to prepare a family meal or just enjoy a cup of coffee at the counter bar.

If you don't feel like cooking, one of the best features of staying downtown is you are within walking distance to many bars and restaurants. There are also wonderful and unique boutique shops all along Saint Peter's main street.

Great Loft

This was the ideal location and place to stay while attending a weekend wedding in St. Peter. It was within walking distance to the venue, bars, coffee shops, grocery stores and gas stations. The property was exactly what we needed for our home away from home stay.

This was a great place to stay and was within walking distance of many of our favorite places to visit in St. Peter. We had everything we needed, and the property was clean well kept, and very comfortable.

Beautiful property and prepared host!

Beautiful, historic property that is very well maintained. This host thought of everything from phone chargers to ear plugs, mints, toiletries, bottled water, etc. Also a binder full of great info about the property and surrounding area.

Friends weekend

Very clean, surprisingly quiet, and comfortable property. The loft apt was nicer than it showed in photos. Super clean. Although on busy road, the building must have thick,insulted walls cause we were not disturbed by outside noise. Convenient to local restaurants and shops.

Great location. Great stay!

The location was great for visiting our daughter at school. We loved the old building look combined with the updated extras. The loft is conveniently located close enough to walk anywhere around town. We walked across the street for coffee, strolled down Minnesota Ave. for shopping, stopped by the great bars and restaurants in the area, and walked up the arboretum at Gustavus for our daily steps! We will definitely be back!

MSU Family Weekend

Stayed in Saint Peter for Minnesota State family weekend. Just a short drive to Mankato so the extra bedrooms/accommodations worked nicely for our group. Also, had breakfast at Nicollet Diner and dinner at MN Wings. Also, love the Content boutique next door. This is our 2nd time at Brian’s place. It is a little loud with the traffic but usually quiets down for the overnight. Overall, a great spot!

Girls weekend was great in the loft. Nice downtown location were we could walk to restaurants and shopping. Host had decorated and appointed very nicely. Would definately stay again.

It was just what we needed, with all the added extra thoughtful touches, such as snacks and waters and mints! They even had ear plugs in the bedroom for us... We loved staying here!

Stay Here in St. Peter Minnesota

This facility worked great for 4 senior citizens as far as cleanliness, 3 bedrooms and location had everything we needed within one block! If yo have someone with difficulty going up and down stairs, you will want to avoid this facility since it is an upstairs space. The host was great to communicate with. The only suggestion we had about the facility was the lack of a grab bar in the shower. But our group was made up entirely of senior citizens!

Great Lodging For A Gustavus Wedding

Owner Brian is very personable & easy to work with. He works immediately downstairs at Thrivent, so connecting with him is very convenient. The Loft was perfect for our purposes. It's a very short, easy commute to the Gustavus Adolphus College Chapel. We were in town for my Niece's Wedding -- a ceremony that joined 2 Gustavus alums in holy matrimony. It was fun being right on St. Peter's main street. With Brian's help, we identified three close by eating options. For good burgers, He recommended The Flame Bar & Grill, with instructions to ask for Proprietor Shannon. We did & she took excellent care of us. The Burgers & Fries were excellent, as was the BBQ Chicken Wrap. The atmosphere can be described as a neighborhood sports bar, which was fine. Brian's other recommendations were The Nicollet for Breakfast type food & Patrick's for a fuller menu. The Niece/Bride confirmed these recommendations. As wedding events covered two of our meals, we didn't get to sample them on this trip. But we're certainly keeping both in mind for future visits. Note that both are a couple of blocks from the Loft. The unit was very much as advertised. Mattresses & Bedding alike were very comfortable. The Kitchen was well equipped; although dishes are done the old fashioned way. ;) The stairs into the unit are substantial. As was fully disclosed in the listing. If you normally climb stairs, it's a non-issue. But don't pull a "how hard can it be" if you sometimes avoid staircases!

Wonderful Stay

My family stayed here this weekend as it was conveniently located for us to attend our nephew’s wedding. We had a unique check in situation and Brian, the host, was excellent and professional in all of his communications with us. The extra touches of mints and some snacks were very appreciated by my teenage kids. Thanks for a great stay!

Lot's Special Touches

They really focused on the little extra touches that helped make the stay more restful for me. Some of thise items were a couple water bottles in the fridge, basic toiletries (my luggage arrived the next day), a cellphone charger. The bed was super comfortable too. Thank you.

Highly recommend!

This was the perfect spot for our group of 5. We loved the location as it seemed to be in the center of everything we needed downtown. The apartment was way more spacious than we anticipated. The host was very nice and welcoming. He reached out to us to see when we would be arriving to give us a tour, and he was very accommodating. We will definitely be checking the availability the next time we are in St. Peter.

Weekedn getaway in St. Peter

Staying at this property was an extremely pleasant and positive experience. The unit is clean, spacious, and well-stocked with kitchenware and other household supplies. The check-in process was smooth and simple and communicating with the host was straightforward. There is free parking and reliable wifi.
