Great location only a mile from the ski resort and on the river. Large enough for 3 families and almost every room had its own bathroom with shower. Everyone enjoyed the game room in the basement.
The home was a great, peaceful place for our staff retreat. The owners we great to work with and very accommodating. There was plenty of room for us all inside and outside. The home was clean and well cared for.
Property was very clean, and we pleasantly surprised kitchen has lot of supplies (cooking oil, coffee, creamer, bag of ice....). There are lot of rooms in the house. Communication with host Cindy was great from the beginning. Outside has breathtaking views.
Great property with plenty of space for our group of old friends to reunite while also getting their own space, when needed. Private. Well-appointed; everything we could think of needing was provided. Spent lots of time just sitting down by the river.
We have stayed at several houses near tippy dam but this is the one our guys requested to come back to this year. Will probably return next year. Clean, comfortable and has everything you need. Owners are very quick to respond and excellent at communicating check in process and everything you need to know.
Property was exactly if not better than described. Excellant communication- zero issues and zero surprises. The river access was awesome as well as the fire pit and the supplied firewood. The decks gave an awesome view and place to drink morning coffee or to visit after the late night fire. Can't say enough good things about this property and the owners. Thanks for sharing it!
We had 13 family members stay here and there was more than enough room for everyone! Hosts are extremely nice and accomidating! House is beautiful, clean and well stocked. Kids loved the river!
clean and well stocked.
The home and property far exceeded our expectations. The hosts provided so many amenities and “extras” that you wouldn’t normally expect at a VRBO (shampoo, condiments, firewood… to name a few). The location is central to so many beautiful areas. We can’t wait to come back.
We had a great time! I've never traveled with dogs or my family, so I'm excited we were able to stay. The river was very accessible, and the kids had a great time wading in.
The house was awesome, stocked with the best kitchen supplies I've seen yet. The beds were comfortable, and it felt like someone loves this place, rather than most generic rentals. We made a lot of new memories here.
We stayed a week at the Riverhouse and it was excellent! The river was tranquil, there was room for everyone and the 4 seasons room was great space to be when the kids went to bed. Cindy was a gem to communicate with and was able to coordinate an early check in for tracking family members. The ONLY small quibble was from the kids as the the dart board and foose-hockey were not present and the air-hockey table was missing it's blower. We would 100% stay at the River House again and find it to be an amazing deal for all the space you get!
*Enjoyed and loved the location on the river
*Convenient to Lake Michigan beaches
*Many wonderful memories as a family
Frogging, Fishing (but didn't catch much) swimming, Campfires ( thanks for providing the wood), playing cards at the large dining table ,and pool
The place worked out well for us. The children enjoyed the property, especially the frog pond. The extra refrigerator in the basement and the beach chairs were greatly appreciated. The kitchen and dining room table are perfect for a large family. A few children's plates and cups
(unbreakable) would have been helpful but we managed. The beds were comfortable except for one queen upstairs which was relatively hard. We brought kayaks and used them nearly every day putting in at Thompsonville and finishing at our frontage. Great Vacation and very Gracious Hosts! Memories made for years you come!
We had nine adult paddlers Who thoroughly enjoyed themselves at the river house. We were able to spread out comfortably and appreciate how well stocked they have it. 2nd time that we have stayed there so we can paddle the rivers in the area. Beautiful setting.
We were pleased with the amount of indoor and outdoor space. The property was centrally located for all of our activities and the host were the absolute best for communicating.
Had a great time at the cabin. Skied all weekend and it was right down the street from us. Had all the amenities and more! Would love to go back to stay for another weekend again.
We had a ski weekend with our adult children and 4 young grand kids. The River House was perfect. Plenty of room. 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms. One mile from Crystal. We will book again next year. It was awesome!!
