We wanted a quick weekend getaway before our kids school started and for the price we paid we knew it wouldn't be a luxury condo. It was inexpensive and served it purpose. We did leave early because our youngest child caught a stomach bug while there and experienced vomiting for 24 hrs straight. I am unsure what triggered it b/c we all ate the same food, however she did swallow some pool water prior to the onset.
Pro's-
Direct beach access w/ a great beach view.
Close proximity to stores and restaurants.
No Front desk Check-in process, keybox located at the door and the Owner provided the code prior to check-in.
Pool w/ ample seating available.
Owner provided a beach umbrella.
AC was noisy, but air was cold
Con's-
The Condo is in need of updating/remodeling. (Bathroom cabinets are warped, paint peeling/discolored, needs new grouting/floor scrubbing, Kitchen bench could use some reupholstering/ cleaning, random hair on the counters/floor, bathroom waterfall faucet had dirt/gunk in it. ect.)
Bathroom is very small and hard to maneuver in.
Constant bad smell in the hall leading up to the condo, but you can not smell it in the actual room.
$30 parking pass fee, but I rarely saw security at the guard shack (no gate), so pretty much anyone has access to the parking lot.
I passed by open doors of other condo's with the same layout and they looked beautiful, so this condo has all the potential to be nice, but its has seen better days and needs a great deal of updating.
