This oversized Carmel Family Vacation home (2200 square feet) was named " Peace of Heaven," by the owners as they always feel as though they are in heaven when they make the trip up from their Silicon Valley home. "They get the much needed rest and relaxation they need when ever they come up." The home is located in the "woods" area of Carmel and is just a 15 min walk l to world class restaurants, shops art galleries and the beach. Pebble Beach and all the golf you could possibly want is also just a few minutes away. The Cottage sleeps 10 with 3 bedrooms outfitted with king size beds. The den has a queen size murphy bed and there are two day beds in the oversized master bedroom. The owners just recently 2025 put in beautiful Italian white oak flooring throughout the home the entry way brick and sunroom tile.

Cozy up by the fireplace in the living room while you watch your favorite tv show. The kitchen is set with a service for 12, and is stocked with all the baking dishes, pots , pans and electric cooking devices you may need. The gas barbeque is located on the patio adjacent the dining room and kitchen and is accessed via French doors.

Enjoy the morning sunshine and evening cocktails with a peek of the pacific ocean. The neighborhood is ideal for walking, and great for looking at the variations of charming Carmel homes. Everything here will make for a lifetime memory.
Not your typical Carmel Cottage, this home has onsite parking for at least 8 cars.

Thanksgiving in Carmel
We owned a beautiful second home in Pebble beach for twelve years and spent Thanksgiving’s there every year. We decided to return and let the granddaughters enjoy the experience! This house is in a great location. You can easily get to downtown Carmel, Pebble Beach, Monterey, Carmel Vally and Big Sur. The neighborhood is very quiet with ample streets to walk a dog and kids. The three en-suite bedrooms are much appreciated. There is no easy accessible fenced yard for dogs but the front of the house has two areas of nice lawn for pets and children. We only cooked a couple of dinners in the 11 days we were there, but the kitchen was very well stocked with just about everything you could want. Weber gas BBQ on the deck was much appreciated. This is a very comfortable home in a good location.

Peaceful Place
The house was immaculate. Comfy beds. Nicely appointed. Everything we needed to prepare meals at home. Perfect for our little dog, who did not need a fenced yard. Close to downtown Carmel. Quiet neighborhood. Beautiful trees that framed the gorgeous sunsets. We hope to return.

This house is so warm and inviting every room is special the house has a Pottery Barn vibe about it. Early mornings we saw a family of deer in the yard and colorful birds we even saw an owl.outside it’s very woodsy with nice setting areas. The house is fully equipped you will find everything you need to make meals. It is close driving distance to shopping and the beach. We enjoyed our week stay and plan to return.

Perfect location in Carmel for week long family vacation
Great location in a quiet neighborhood. Property is spotless, cheerful and welcoming. The living space is very comfortable. Each bedroom and bath has its own separate wing so I never heard my 5 month old granddaughter crying at night! Toys and books for kids were an added bonus. Beach chairs, sand wagon and sand toys made trips to the beach easy. While this was a family trip, the house would be perfect for 3 couples to share on a long weekend. B

Lovely Carmel Getaway

Great house for family visiting Carmel-by-the-Sea
This property was amazing! We really enjoyed the space the house provided especially with a 5 and 8 year old, as well as the subtle touches provided (eg, little goodies, wine bottle from owners, lots of USB and power ports, office area, etc.). Also super close to Carmel-by-the-Sea, Pebble Beach, and surrounding attractions. 100% recommended and we will look to hopefully rent when we return to area.

We took our kids (23, 26 and 28) to Carmel for the week and this house was the best part of the whole trip which was incredible. The house was one of the best cared for houses with not one thing about it I would criticize. Very well furnished, comfortable beds, great indoor space and outdoor space. We will go back the Carmel and won’t even think about renting any other place than this one! And Debra was incredibly responsive and concerned about our stay being a great one.

Wonderful house
We had a wonderful stay in Carmel and we all loved the house. We shared it with 2 other couples and it was great with each of us having our own bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the owners/host thought of everything - first aid kits, sewing kit, flashlights with extra batteries, games, puzzles and books. We would definitely stay here again!!

Charming Carmel House

My daughter and her family live in Hawaii. We met in Carmel for a family vacation. The house was just as described. Very clean, with everything you would need. The bedrooms were all spacious with comfortable beds, and a nice cozy chair for relaxing. The family room, dining room, and kitchen were open, so that you could be in any of those rooms, and still feel connected . There were plenty of games for the children ( and adults ) to be entertained . The grounds were beautiful, with gorgeous flowers. There was a note book with clear instructions for everything in the house, which was very helpful. Deb and her colleagues were amazing. Answered right away when we called or email with questions. They went above and beyond. We had an amazing family time in Carmel, and hope to return one day.

Simply Amazing!
The owners of this home have certainly named it appropriately (Peace of Heaven), and we are so glad that they are willing to share it with travelers! The home is incredibly nice and spacious inside and out, and the neighborhood is wonderfully quiet! We cooked meals every day in the home, and everything we needed for meal preparation was there, perfectly clean, and in good condition - the appliances are of high quality and a pleasure to use, including the grill. The beds (there are 3 king sized beds) were as good or better than anything we have ever slept in, and each bedroom has an attached bathroom (which are also well supplied with paper products and even hotel-like soaps and shampoos for those who didn’t bring their own). The yard is large and private, and there is room for lots of cars to park off the street. We were in town to visit family and didn’t really need our car. We parked it in the garage and walked to Ocean Blvd and the beach every day with our dogs (BTW, Alvarado Brewery & Bistro, and the Hog’s Breath Inn, are both dog-friendly restaurants!) — Ocean Blvd is about a 20-25 minute walk, through wonderful neighborhoods of beautiful homes. Overall, everything about this home was wonderful and relaxing. We had very little need for communication with Debra, however prior to arrival and during our stay every time we contacted her she was prompt, thorough, and friendly in reply. In short, everything about this Carmel Peace of Heaven was perfect, and simply amazing, and we are truly thankful to Debra and the owners for providing such a wonderful home away from home. We hope to have an opportunity to stay here again!!
