Best stay on VRBO

Amazing duplex, amazing host! Love this place, would recommend that you stay here. The staff was so easy to work with and the home was super clean. Very nice rooms and bathrooms. Couldnt have had a better stay at all. Stacie stayed in contact with throughout my stay and made sure that i had everything that i needed. Amazing booking.

Perfectly Lovely

This was the best vacation rental we’ve ever stayed in and we’ve rented places all over the US. Sweet little corner specifically set up for your pet. Super easy check-in and out procedures. Appears to be brand new and beautifully decorated. Right near the river and the state park. Short drive to the wonderful town of St. Marys where we boarded the ferry to Cumberland Island.

Fishing Retreat was awesome

My family enjoyed the Fishing Retreat so much we extended our stay. The peace and quiet was amazing. The neighbors were friendly and the parade of golf carts was interesting. We will definitely be back.

Independence Day Getaway

This property has been one of my favorite so far. The location is wonderful. Close to so many exciting things to do. We will be back for another adventure very soon. The grounds are well kept. The locals were very friendly.

Another great stay with Stay Better Vacations

This is the second time we've stayed at a Stay Better property and we couldn't have been happier. The house was well appointed and met all our needs. The house was spotless and comfortable. There were just two of us so we had plenty of space to relax as the place is well laid. We would defeinitely recommend staying here. Stacie and the team were great.

Great place!

Our family went for a long weekend getaway. Due to Covid, we didn't want to go anyplace very crowded, so this place was perfect. Very nice and quiet and right across from a state park (with a playground I think) but close enough to St Mary's (about 20 minutes) when we wanted to go out to dinner. The apartment was beautiful. Felt like it was brand new and it was sparkling clean! Will definitely stay here again.

We had a fantastic time at Fins to the Left. It was extremely clean and very roomy.

This property was perfect. It was roomy and very clean. We were greeted with a yummy basket of treats and the AC was set to the perfect temp. We rented Kayaks and dropped in right across the street at the Crooked River State Park. There was space to wash down and stop our kayaks in the evening. The kitchen had everything we needed as we cooked in every night. We also used the grill one evening. Everyone around the house was extremely friendly as well. We were even brought fresh figs and blueberries one morning.

Weekend Retreat

Property was amazing. Those looking for a fishing weekend getaway will find these accommodations to their liking. House is within walking distance of the boat ramp. House provides ample space for parking your boat and includes the hose for cleaning your boat. Ease of getting into house and locking door on way out was amazing, we need one of those locks for our home 😁 Stacie made our trip special for our mom celebrating her 70th birthday with providing a cake and welcoming snacks. We’d stay here again.

Fins to the left

Fins to the left is a beautiful place in Saint Marys Georgia and my stay was as very cozy and welcoming, I highly recommend this place to anyone who likes to fish on the rivers or if a family wants to get away you are only and hour away from lots of fun ! Absolutely Exceeded our Expectations

Perfectly located just beside the park and walking distance to the fishing dock. Beautifully decorated, clean and new. We really enjoyed our peace and quiet. No real negative except we wish there was a better view of the water, but that was not why we booked this lovely place. We will be back ! We have a small business and just opened a new location in Brunswick GA, plus we have many friends and family in the area. This is the perfect location to both the Golden Isles and Amelia.

Gorgeous house in a fantastic location

We absolutely loved this house and the location. The Property is clean, very well maintained, and gorgeous. Very comfortable. We loved the deck where we could drink coffee and watch the sun come up. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were perfect.. not too hot. The kitchen was perfectly equipped with anything you could need to make meals and have a night in. The fish cleaning station was very convenient. The canal beside the house was full of crab, we through a trap out and caught a few while there. Neighbors were all very kind and welcoming. Kids would ride by nightly on their way to shark fish and give us pointers hahaha. Only caveat: if you have a bigger boat and truck, parking can be tricky. We have a 4 door F250 and a 22 ft Pontoon and had a little trouble parking in a way that left room for other guests. However, the property manager Stacy was amazing and gave us a couple options and we were able to squeeze our truck and boat in. If you have a smaller set up you are golden, just a heads up to folks with something similar to ours. The state park next door is well maintained and the employees there were extremely helpful. Boat ramp is not even a mile away and very easy to access. You can put your boat in at the river and fish or ride out to Cumberland island. St Mary’s is a gorgeous, quaint town. Lots of great places to eat and see the little shops. I’d you want more tourist type stuff Fernandina is less than an hour away. We absolutely LOVED this house and enjoyed our stay in this unique little area. Recommend highly to all my friends and family who like to fish or hang out at secluded beaches and just want a small coastal town get away.
