When we started to plan our family trip to the Smokies our requirements were to find a secluded cabin with a hot tub and this one fit that description perfectly! The size was perfect for our family of 4. It made it super nice to have a washer and dryer as well. Only word of caution is to make sure you have the right vehicle to get through the one lane mountain gravel road to the house. We had a blast hiking in the area and then relaxing at night by watching the sunset.

Wonderful location and view
Spectacular view and location. The cabin was really good. Good kitchen unfortunately no drip coffee maker only k cups. Wifi signal not strong. It's a steep drive to the cabin. SUVs won't have much problem unless there is snow. For sedans it's possible if you have uphill driving experience.

The views are spectacular! So high up the mountain that you can experience the sunrise and the sunset in the same day! Great location for fishing, casino, entertainment and food. But also a great place to cook dinner, eat on the porch and enjoy the outdoors!

Family Getaway
Beautiful home and property! The perfect place to come back to each day after local hikes and exploring.
An excellent place to get away for a few days. Cabin had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Do pay attention to the road, it does require some skill to navigate, but then it is up the side of a mountain so you should expect that.

Breathtaking view, poorly marked horrible treacherous path up and no drip coffee pot as advertised. Oven quit working and there was no going back down that mountain in the dark.
Very nice cabin with one of the most amazing views you can find. To get to to hot tub, you had to wear shoes and when they say you need a four wheel drive, believe them. But overall the place was comfortable and very nice to stay and I would do it again.
Beautiful home and the view is breathtaking from every angle. The home was clean and very well equipped. The drive up was a little intimidating the first time as an all wheel drive vehicle is needed. This home had the best view that we have had in 20+years of staying in the Smokies!!! We would definitely recommend this to all.

Great View
I liked the cabin, it had a great view and Hot tob was clean (even we did not have a chance to use it). Road was very narrow you would need a 4 X 4 in winter time.
Cabin is cosy but not very big. Bathrooms are outside the bedrooms.
Everything were cleaned except some of the pilos had yellow stain on them.
I hope you changed the blankets and pillows to white so it show they have been cleaned with bleached.
Toster where broken in one side. there where lots of pot in the cabin, but no cattel to make hot water for tea.
Coffe maker were use K-cup, but there we did not know what kind of coffee we should take with us.

Great view but issues at the cabin
To start, the view is spectacular. That said, there were issues with the cabin and no one got back to us as they said they would. Oven did not work which added some stress to what was supposed to be a returning weekend. DVD player also did not work.

A FWD worked fine getting up the hill so long as you know how to drive. I would be a bit concerned if it had been raining as there were some iffy areas of the road where you could lose traction. Overall a wonderful location though the beds were a bit uncomfortable and worn. DVD player did not open or function. Not a detrimental factor to our stay. The hot tub needed a good cleaning as it did smell of must/mold we utilized the first night only due to this. Gorgeous views and close to many areas for a great week of adventures. A pleasant stay and despite the few minor issues would definitely make this trip again.

House was wonderful. Views were beautiful. One important tip… use Apple Maps to navigate to house. Goggle maps takes to a dead end that does not connect to Black Forest Rd. All in all highly recommend!!

Wonderful family getaway
Went for a weekend getaway with the family. Had an amazing time. For sure get there in the daylight. We had to arrive at night and the road was scary but we made it 😂 the view was magnificent the cabin it self we clean and felt just like home. My only complaint was the hot tub. It wasn’t very warm and it didn’t smell great but I’m sure you have to have so many chemicals in it and it didn’t ruin anything for us. Still had the best time! Thank y’all very much!
Beautiful, but be sure to follow specific driving directions
This really is a fun and cozy cabin with beautiful, amazing views. The property was clean and well furnished. The mattresses were not the best, but they're alright. Plenty of seating outside to enjoy the sunsets. We would happily return here for another vacation, as this one was cut short by an emergency calling us home.
The only issue we had was finding the property. We missed the ONE email from Vacasa giving actual driving directions with street names to the property. ALL emails had the general info that you need 4-wheel drive, but not the specific details. So we used Google maps which tried sending us through a neighbor's property. The neighbor's property gate was not marked with an address, it was unlocked, and we assumed the "private property" was Heaven On Earth's private property. We turned around as soon as we realized our mistake. So, our one suggestion to Vacasa would be to add these directions to EVERY email, and to the renter, BE SURE to follow the detailed STREET directions you receive from the email, don't use GPS!

Amazing views and cabin
My family of 5 (3 daughters age 16,14,11) stayed for 5 days and had the best experience ever. The views were absolutely breathtaking. The cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed. There was plenty of dishes and utensils in the kitchen, the bathroom had shampoo/conditioner/soap and even a hair dryer. There was dish soap, cleaning materials, laundry detergent, and beach towels for the hot tub. We even loved the unexpected hangout area in the basement! I don’t know where the previous negative complaints stemmed from because we had the most amazing experience ever. We even looked to see if it was open for two more nights because we didn’t want to leave. The small town of Bryson City is easily accessible. We only left the mountain a couple of times. I recommend checking out Mingo Falls and Cherokee NC while there! Such a fun town close by. The drive was intimidating the first time. We took our Jeep and I’m glad we did. We are already planning our next stay! Very highly recommend this cabin!

Horrible service
The view was nice, there were major issues with the water in the house, and the hot tub was unusable for the entirety of our stay. We came to find out that Vacasa was aware of this before we even arrived but did not bother to inform us, and did nothing to fix it until after we wasted hours on the phone with their “support.” We were promised multiple callbacks that never came. They were defensive & argumentative, refused to accept responsibility for any of it.
This cabin has a beautiful view. Great location. BUT! The beds & pillows are very uncomfortable need to invest in ZINUS mattress. Inexpensive but very comfortable and great for rental properties. Listing should say fire pit but no were to set so guess can bring chairs. Need some TLC. Only one side of the toaster oven works. Coffee pot doesn’t keep the coffee hot. Both Bathroom showers faucets comes away from the wall when you turn on the shower. You can’t change the hot tub pass 99 degrees so it’s just warm water not a hot tube. For the price of the cabin it should have been better maintained.
The property was everything they said it was online, like a couple other reviews have said a portion of the basement where the washer and dryer are located is closed off for remodeling which is no big deal. Everything from kitchenware to blankets to towels, etc was well stocked. Plenty to do in the area, my only reason for not leaving 5 stars overall is strictly with the vacassa listing directions. It took us up Big Rocky's road first, well after the forever long drive to the top there was a locked gate nobody knew nothing about so we had to manage to turn around on a mountain trail basically and go back down and around. When you get to the other entrance (black forest drive) off of Laurel branch rd. It will want you to turn left at the first road you come to, well we went that way and after roughly a half mile there was a tree across the road and just beyond that another locked gate. So if it helps anyone, once you enter the "community" through the main gate, dont take the first left, stay straight and it will wind up and around roughly 1/2 mile to the cabin. We went up it a few timew over the week in a 4 cylinder 2wd gmc terrain, it did it but its tongue was definitelt hanging out by the time you get to the cabin. Otherwise everything was awesome, cant wait to come back again.

Do they really know this property?
I cannot stress enough how much hassle I received from the management company. I booked this many weeks in advance, yet on the day of travel they constantly texted me about the urgent need to sign something and threatened I might not be able to get into the cabin. The one time I could actually get to the electronic sign in, it required purchasing to sign.
About the cabin: the hot tub was off limits, downstairs was under constructions, there were no outside seating for the "fire pit," smudges were all over the door windows and a thick layer of dust on the furniture (not the tops) and the upstairs bath takes about 30 minutes to drain; in other words, you wind up standing in water when you shower.
One last complaint, I messaged the management company asking what kind of coffee machine the cabin had. In the middle of my stay, they answered the 2 week long message. They answered wrong. The cabin has both a drip pot (I found at the back of a lower cabinet) and a Keurig. This isn't on the list of amenities but if you are a coffee drinker, you understand the importance of knowing.
But, the cabin is nice and the view outstanding. The drive up is harrowing but a car can make it. Best to travel it in daylight and this does place limitations on seeing the area.
