This modern condo is located in Seagrove Highlands, a complex that sits a few blocks north of 30A in Seagrove Beach. You'll be within walking distance of the white sand beach and the Gulf of Mexico, and only a quarter-mile up the road from local dining favorites. If you hop on your bike or in the car, you can spend a day exploring Deer Lake State Park, three miles east, and Grayton Beach State Park, three miles west,, or perusing a wealth of excellent eateries, boutiques, and galleries along 30A.

Cute place.
Very clean and tidy, small but cute. It was perfect for us. There was only one hand towel for the kitchen, no extra paper towels or toilet paper. Enough bath towel for 6 people so be prepared to wash bath towels often. No seasonings for food if you plan to cook but there are cooking utensils, and pots and pans. Felt the oven was a little slow to heat and cook things. But over all a very nice place to stay. And perfect for a small family.

Owner has installed new appliances in the kitchen, and new televisions in the living room and bedrooms, much appreciated. The location in Seagrove is fantastic. Close to beach, shops, restaurants. However, previous comments concerning lack of natural light, bright hallway light through the bedroom window at night, loud pump noise from the other side of the wall in the bedroom, and no outdoor space are accurate. The owner has intended for the furnishings and decor to be a "shabby chic" style, which gives it a tired, dingy appearance, especially with no natural daylight coming in. It has vinyl tile over concrete floors in the main area (kitchen, dining, living) that have divots and are starting to disintegrate. They continued to crumble with repeated walking over the surface. A quick fix is to invest in blackout panels for the bedroom (which I did just for us). A larger investment would be to replace the floors. Addressing the noise issue, which is a perpetual "prop plane sound" would require engineering/structual design efforts. (It's actually a water pumping station for the building. Every time a toilet flushes anywhere in the building, the pump kicks on - all night long) It was my mistake, when booking, to think this property had outdoor space (porch or deck). That part of the listing has been modified for accuracy. The overall condition of this property needs attention. This property is suitable for a very short-term stay, not so much for longer stays.

Nice place with some drawbacks
Good location within a short driving distance to lots of great shops and restaurants, and not a terribly long walk to the beach. You do have to get out there early for a spot as a lot of the beaches are private. Condo had tall ceilings and a good layout, and did like having a kitchen to use and laundry. Downsides: All the rooms have windows that show into the hallway of the condo, which all had very bright lights. Unfortunately, no one thought to spend $30 at Target to buy some blackout curtains, would not stay here again unless that was addressed. Master is on the other side of a utility room that has something that sounds like a small muffled prop plane taking off, about every 30 seconds. Constantly. Poor planning on the buildings part, and they should try and do something to quiet that. Kept finding little small roaches, there was mold around the air vents, and the floors were not cleaned well, though they did come and address the floors for us. Lastly, mattresses feel like they were probably purchased about 15 years ago. Between the noise, the bright light in the room that felt like an alien abduction and the poor mattress, I basically watched myself sleep most of the trip. A good queen mattress isn't that expensive and feel like whoever owns/manages this property should take a little time to update and upgrade some stuff in order to have a better guest experience.

Great location
The online pictures of the property were deceiving. They were light and bright and camouflaged the actual wear and tear on the apartment which made it feel dirty and the fact that the apartment does not actually get real daylight as all the windows face an interior hallway. The posted pictures actually made is seem like there was a balcony on this unit.

Seagrove Highlands Unit 2107
The Seagrove/Watercolor area is outstanding with only a 7 minute walk to the beach and the Seagrove Highlands complex was really nice. But the picture of the listing on this unit it inaccurate. There is no balcony overlooking a lake. This unit is on the first floor and the 2nd unit in in a breezeway. So, there was no direct natural light. Also, there was a continual humming sound coming from a closed room in the breezeway named "Sprinkler Alarm" that was on the other side of the Master bedroom and bathroom. Except for that, the room was fine, especially the location.

May 2021 destination wedding trip
We wanted to love this property, but, unfortunately, we did not. This condo has no natural light. I always wondered if people only gave reviews if there are problems, but in our case we tried to like this property and just don’t feel right saying things were great when they’re not. There were plenty of bath towels , plenty of wash cloths- although several wash cloths were dirty looking even after I washed them, and we had only 1 hand towel! The window in the main bedroom and the two living room windows need blackout curtains- the light from the hallway is very bright for sleeping. This unit is also located next to the electrical closet- loud at night. The mattress in the guest room- very uncomfortable and the pillows are a little too flat. Since pillows are typically a personal preference, I would normally not comment, but we had to fly and bringing our own was not an option. The pool was very nice. The floors did not feel clean when we arrived- going barefoot was not comfortable on the tile floor. This unit did not come with any items for going to the pool or the beach. I have to add that this was not our chosen property. The property we originally chose was sold by the owner a month before our visit. This new owner would not honor our reservation. This property was the option that was given to us by Vacasa and we’ve learned pictures can be deceiving. If there had been natural light into this property we feel we could overlook some of these issues.

Great place, however it had no real windows, so you felt you were in a basement
Overall, the complex is very nice and the condo is roomy. However, being on the ground floor, there is not much daylight coming in as the windows face hallways. In addition, there is a constant machine noise coming from the elevator shaft that was quite irrratating.

Location was great. Accommodations were clean and comfortable. However there is no exterior lighting so the place is dark during the day. Also the TVs are very small.

The sheets in one of the bedrooms had either blood or ketchup on them. We had to call the property manger to change them out. The rug in one of the bedrooms was dirty also. The floor in the restroom also had hair on it when we arrived, but the property manager quickly worked to resolve our issues.

The unit was nice. However, There was sand on the floor and a q-tip with ear wax on it. I received no instructions for what to do with dirty dishes or towels upon leaving. The check in instructions went into my junk email and before I noticed I was trying to find out how to get into the unit. No one ever responded to my inquiries. So overall management and cleanliness was lacking.

Awesome Rental
This was my first time renting through Vacasa or even having a Airbnb type experience and I will say the place was beautiful. The property was very spacious, modern and comfortable. I rented 3 different units for my birthday trip and everyone enjoyed themselves and would even rent them again in the future. I love that fact that it was so close to the beach, golf carts rentals and restaurants up and down 30A. It was truly an experience!!!

This was our first time in the Rosemary/Seaside area. So for that reason the location was in the middle of both and a short walk to the public beach. My reasoning for not recommending the property is because it seemed as though the guests did not have access to control the thermostat from the panel. You could adjust the temperature but the room temperature never changed. It was as though it was locked on a timer OR was adjusted offsite through an app. We did send a message and a follow up message to the Host/Owner with no response to either of our messages.

GORGEOUS Property
Vacationing on 30A is already amazing but our stay at this condo made it much more amazing. It is on the first floor so that is especially convenient and the place was decorated beautifully. The kitchen was well stocked which was a plus! The pool was great here and don't get me started on the fishing docks, it is so relaxing and gorgeous. We will definitely be back to vacation here again!
