NEXT TO BIGWOOD RIVER, RIVER RUN GONDOLA and BIKE PATH - 2+ bedrooms 2 baths. 1250 square feet. Sleeps 5 - 200 feet from the Sun Valley gondola.

Relax in this two-level condo next to River Run Ski Lodge. With neutral colors throughout you will enjoy the upgraded furnishings, granite kitchen, and baths, carpets, vaulted ceilings and a gas burning fireplace. This condo is exquisite, spacious, cozy, and warm. The living room has two sliding glass doors that lead to a large deck to relax, (sorry all units had to remove the BBQ to comply with fire marshal).

Location: This property is ideal for sports enthusiasts and families who love snow skiing, biking, hiking, swimming and fishing OR for guests who want to walk to town and shop and indulge in our finest restaurants. Ketchum city center is just a few blocks away - exquisite clothiers, five-star restaurants, and a great night life await you.

Skiers: Ski to River Run chairlift or walk a few hundred feet to enjoy a great hike up Bald Mountain. Right next to Sun Valley's 48-mile groomed bike path.

* Main floor master bedroom with KING size bed w/attached full bath and granite counter top, Jacuzzi bath with travertine walls and floor. Large and gorgeous!
* Upper bedroom consists of a queen size and a separate twin bed. Great for two couples or a family. 3/4 bath has full glassed large shower, new sink & fixtures with travertine floor and tile. A big plus is the new Maytag high efficiency stacked washer & dryer. Detergent included.
* Loft features two bean bag chairs along with a 50" TV with DVD. Great space for kids or adults to get some quiet time.
* Fully equipped kitchen offers alder wood and glass door cabinets, mood lighting, and is open to the living room. The kitchen has travertine flooring and the living room has Berber carpeting.
* Living room with feather sofa, 2 chairs, gas cozy fireplace, 50' flat screen TV with DVD; 2 sliding glass doors that lead to the BBQ/viewing deck. Relax, eat and sip.
* Outside storage is adjacent to front door for skis, fishing gear, etc.
* Summer swimming in quiet secluded pool and fall/winter/spring enjoy the common.

Family gathering

This property was extremely comfortable and well designed to accommodate two adult couples. The location is close in to activities, but on a quiet street. We would stay here again!

Wonderful Stay in Ketchum

I would give 6 stars ⭐️ if I could! The condo had everything you might need, and the layout worked well for our family of 4. The beds were very comfortable, and since we ate most of our meals in, we found the kitchen to be EXTREMELY well-equipped!!! The condo was just as pictured, and it was just a short walk to the gondola, so it was easy to come back in for lunch. Having use of the ski locker at the base of the mountain was a HUGE plus so we didn’t have to walk back to our condo in ski boots. We did not have a car, so the close-proximity to the city buses was a plus too, especially since we had one non-skier in our group. We took the bus into town for grocery store runs and for an evening out in town. We enjoyed meeting many locals - Ketchum is not nearly as touristy as other ski towns we have visited - and everyone was super nice and helpful when we had questions. One thing to note, which many locals told us, is that the ski slopes are slightly steeper here than ski slopes in Colorado, Montana, or Utah. Green runs here are more like blue runs in other states. Although we are not highly advanced skiers, we managed fine once we learned which slopes suited us best. I would highly recommend this condo if you are considering skiing this mountain. Spring Break ski trip

Nice Condo on 2nd floor, walking distance for my kids to River run Ski lift.. 9 and 10 Ski locker in lodge at base of lift a huge plus, as kids didn't have to walk in boots. 2nd bedroom upstairs doesn't have a door FYI , not that big of a deal, We have stayed in 2 other units in this complex. Really comfortable beds.

Great stay!

Everything about this second floor condo was great. Susanne was incredibly responsive in any communications. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed watching TV in the living room, and were able to walk out on the deck as well. There is a washer and dryer on the second floor of the condo that worked great. The location of the condo itself is very quiet and a 2 minute walk to the bike trail. If you want dinner in downtown Ketchum it is at most a 5 minute drive. We would certainly stay here again. The condo was nice and clean with a well appointed kitchen. We loved hanging out at the pool after a day of biking or hiking. We also liked the location of the condo, it’s right next to the bike path and an easy walk into town or the river run base area. Stunning Condo

Very modern condo minutes for the Sun Valley Gondola and downtown. Very private and quiet. Immaculate, well stocked and spacious. Very comfortable beds...tons ofHOT water. Even a sauna and heated pool. Close to hiking and biking trails. Suzanne, our host went above and beyond.....We had an issue with the cable and Suzanne immediately took care of the problem. Would return in a heartbeat.

awesome and convenient sun valley condo!

Great communication with owners, they even mailed a new coffee maker when we couldn't get it to work! A true ski in/ski out to the River Run parking lot: it's right next to the flat river trail that is covered with snow so you can push yourself on your skis to River Run! Or you can use their ski lockers there! The communal hot tub is close by and it's super fun to meet others staying at the condoes. Would recommend to anyone staying at Sun Valley.

Convenient and Clean

Condo is close to River Run and easy winter drive to Ketchum. Very clean and nicely stocked. Comfy beds and soft towels. Beautiful trail to walk along river. Up one flight of exterior stairs. Extra bonus room upstairs for kids.

Nice location, great star gazing

Right next to the rail trail. Hot tub was great. Star gazing was amazing on the trail less than 5 min walk. Home had plenty of room and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pots and pans. The beds were comfy.

Ketchum condo

Location was great and the property was nice, quiet and peaceful. Neighbors were all very friendly. Condo was good sized but I don't recommend it for two couples. The master was great - nice bed and bedding and en-suite bath. The second bedroom was basically a loft that had windows added, but there was no door and if you wanted cool air (or heat in the winter) you had to leave the windows open, so there was no privacy really. The kitchen also wasn't as well stocked as I would have expected when the listing specifically stated it was. Plenty of dishes, glasses/cups, silverware and pots and pans but lacking in pretty much everything else. The knives couldn't even cut cheese and the only cutting board was a small bar sized one. Having a grill was great and the patio was good sized. Most of all the location made this place for us. Right off the walking/biking trail and we were able to walk to every place we wanted to go in Ketchum.

The property was as described. The biggest benefit of the property is it's prime location right next to a walking / biking trail. We were also able to walk downtown and the gondola to Bald Mountain is a very quick walk. It's also a quick drive and easy to park to downtown if you prefer not to walk especially if you are going multiple times per day as I did. Many walking trails in the area. It did get hot a few days but the unit stays cool if you keep the windows open at night as Ketchum usually gets pretty cool at night. The small cooler unit did the trick during the day. The location was very quiet. The owner was very responsive to any questions. My family enjoyed the time there. I recommend this unit if staying in the Sun Valley/Ketchum area.

I came to Sun Valley the first time in 1988, and this is still my favorite place to vacation.

Why they chose this property

How lucky I was to purchase this wonderful condo so many years ago when I came to Sun Valley after college. I fell in love, moved and stayed here for another four years! We still love spending time here and enjoy both summer and winter vacationing in these beautiful mountains.

What makes this property unique

The condo comples is the closest property to River Run Lodge. Also one of the few that has a heated pool in the summer and a hot tub and sauna that are available your round. It is an easy walk to town and during the summer months, we enjoy being steps from the paved bike path that reaches over 45 miles. If fishing is your sport, the Big Wood River is 100 feet from the condo. It's also great if you want to read a book, just relax on the deck overlooking the mountains.
