WINTER 2024 UPDATE: We have snow! Mount Bohemia and all snowmobiling trails are now open!

Beautiful authentic log cabin home on Eagle River. This 4 bedroom, 2 bath home can sleep up to 10 and is situated on over 3 acres of land. Both bathrooms are newly renovated. The front porch has a gorgeous view of Lake Superior and the lake front is just a short walk away. There is a private pond on the property. Relax and enjoy a morning coffee on the porch or during the stunning sunsets. Warm up by the wood burning fireplace. Enjoy outdoor activities all year round, including swimming, hiking, cycling, skiing, and snowmobiling. Lots of room for snowmobile trailer parking.

Perfect place!

This is the perfect place to stay in Keweenaw County! Beautiful home with wonderful views, we loved it! Great location, right next to the falls, with so much to explore! Hope to come back soon!

Beautiful Property

We had visited Eagle river falls this past autumn. Gorgeous area. When looking for a place to celebrate Christmas/NYE with the family we found this incredible home! Pleasantly surprised that the grounds and home were even better than described. Comfortable, clean and a great area to make home base for some Keweenaw exploring! Every one of us enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again in the coming summer.

Great place to Stay

Great log cabin home. 6 of us stayed here to explore Keweenaw on ATVs. It is perfect location. Atv/snowmobile trail head 2 blocks away. House was well equiped. Very relaxing after day of riding. 2 bathrooms is a big plus with a group. No complaints about anything from our group. We had a wonderful time and great memories were made. Highly recommend this beautiful place if you are coming to the Keweenaw. Host was quick with reply to any questions. Thank you Karen.

This was our second time at the house. The house is very comfortable, the location is perfect, and it would be great for any group wanting to enjoy the UP.

Vic and Debb’s wedding

My best friend Vic got married in the old Central Mine church (built in 1868), then had their reception at Fitzgerald’s restaurant on Lake Superior in Eagle River, Michigan. This property was perfect for me, two couples and one other adult that came in for the wedding and activities planned for the Friday before and the Sunday after. The location was great, just a few block walk to and from the Fitz, and it worked wonderful for our needs. The home is very well set up, it is adjacent to the Eagle River waterfall and you can hear the falls perfectly from the back deck. This is a great place to stay in a great location and has everything you might need. I would use this location again in an instant. It’s a great property with a lot going for it and nothing that did not meet our expectations!

Beautiful house, beautiful views!

Very spacious, more than enough room for our group of 5, all the conveniences, but still lovely cabin feel. Then you look out a window or walk outside and you see Lake Superior and share the property with an amazing waterfall. Easy spot to explore the upper Keweenaw.

Great Cabin!

This is just what we needed to fulfill a beautiful fall get away! Cabin is really nice. The newly remodeled bathroom downstairs is really nice and upstairs will be nice once that shower/tub is able to be remodeled like downstairs. Beds were comfortable and we all slept well! We will come again! Thanks so much!

Sounds of the waterfall

The log home is beautiful and is cozy but spacious. It is one of the few properties that offers a king bed in one of the rooms. The first floor bath was beautifully renovated with a “pebbled” floor. The location right on the Eagle River was perfect for us. We enjoyed hearing the waterfall and seeing the sunset each night.

We photographed Auroras over Labor day weekend.

This log home is so cozy and nice. The whole house has everything you need for a great vacation. The falls are in the backyard. Nice decking all around to relax. Have your morning tea watching Lake Superior. Oh, and you can hear the falls all day and night. There are plenty of games and videos to watch if needed. I photographed the Auroras the first night. Bring your camera and set it up across the street. The last 5 days of Sept. 2022 are supposed to be epic for Auroras. You need a camera to see them and to take photos. Do you research to get your pictures. We will be back!

Amazing beauty!

The most perfect location for a peaceful vacation! The waterfall was amazing! The teenagers and adults spent lots of our days in the waterfall picnicing and swinging on the rope swing! I would I will definitely rent it again! Porches have an amazing view!

Great UP Experience

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Eagle River. The house had plenty of space for all 8 of us and we all enjoyed exploring the property and waterfall! The house is a very short walk from Superior. Make sure you eat at Fitzgerald’s while you’re there too!

Wonderful time

We loved staying at the eagle river house! The area is wonderful, and the falls in the backyard is one of the most peaceful sounds. Bonus, playground located across the street was a nice surprise for the kids. Wi-Fi wasn’t spotty at the house, it worked great when we were there. We will definitely be back again in the future!

We stayed here with friends and had a great time. The owner was kind and communicated clearly. Our only recommendation would be to make sure to bring your own seating for the fire pit. Overall great location and experience.

Awesome accomodations for a friends trip to Mt. Bohemia

Our crew of friends had a blast at this place as base camp for Mt. Bohemia. The firewood was stocked, the kitchen had everything we needed, everything was clean, and it was close enough to Mt. Bohemia. A bonus was a gem of a restaurant 3 blocks away called Fitzgeralds. Best barbecue I've had in awhile and really impressive accomodations for our group. Loved our stay and the views are beautiful.

We enjoyed our stay in Eagle River.

The waterfall in the backyard is awesome. Nearness to Lake Superior is a plus. The cabin is spacious, yet cozy. We would recommend this property and stay there again ourselves.
