My family and I came to view the eclipse and were pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and homey the cabin was. We had everything we needed to cook and had a really enjoyable stay!
Great location, nicely furnished cabin, and Karen was helpful with the various questions I had. If you're looking for a cozy cabin with enough room for a family get together, this is the place for you.
I had a wonderful time with my family at this cabin. We enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub while we were here. The rooms were very nice, and the peacefulness of the neighborhood and nature was just what we were looking forward. We will be back!
We came for a long weekend over Spring Break. Cabin was perfect. Well stocked, clean and perfect location. Road by cabin was not busy and was an easy drive into Beavers Bend. We come up here 1-2x/year and will definitely stay in this cabin again.
I took my family of 5 for a little weekend getway to this home. Owner was very helpful and communicated very quickly with tons of information. The home itself was top notch. Very clean and had everything you could ask for. I highly recommend this property.
We had the best time and made great memories with our friends. This location is perfect for privacy but close to all the fun things to do in Broken now. Karen was quick to answer any questions we had and she was an amazing host. We cannot wait to come back to this beautiful property.
This was such a wonderful secluded cabin, perfect to feel like you're really out there but close enough to all the fun. The cabin was spotless and comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub daily, even in the rain. The wrap around porch was perfect for morning coffee or just sitting and relaxing. A little bummed we hit the rainy colder days so no water time, but worth it and will be back!
Beautiful place! Plenty of room! We went to escape and relax. This was a great place to do that. Hosts were easy to contact, but we had no problems. We would like to have had more information about how steep the incline of the drive was and that this is where we would be parking and taking out luggage in/out from. If you are a little older that can be a consideration. Thank you, Lord, for friends! We had a great time getting away together and would totally recommend to others.
The cabin was perfect. We celebrated my dad's 80th birthday. My mom has some memory issues so a nice quiet celebration was just the ticket. We cooked out, sat in the hot tub and took lots of walks. Getting to bring our fur babies was a bonus. The kitchen was well stocked so preparing meals was easy. Thanks for a great second stay. We will be back!!!!
We typically visit Broken Bow 2-3 times a year. We are planning to come back and hope this cabin is available next time. This cabin is secluded yet accessible to the roads and shops. The cabin is very nice and in great condition and well organized. It has the feel of a owners 2nd home because it’s too nice to be a rental. Communication with Karen was fast and pleasant. Thank you for a great stay.
My 4 year old son, 22 yr old niece and myself and my 2 Labs went for a little weekend getaway. The cabin was perfect for what we needed and wanted. It was positioned far enough away that you got the “camping” experience but was also close enough to everything that it was convenient to get to the paddle boats, state park, grocery stores etc.. The home was clean and came with all of the necessities needed to have a comfortable couple of days. The hot tub was so awesome and it feels like you’re surrounded completely by the woods. The home is exactly how it is advertised and Karen was so great to communicate with. We would def stay here again!
The StreamLife cabin is a hidden gem in Hochatown. We really enjoyed our stay over the NYE weekend. It was a really peaceful place nestled in the southern hills addition close to the southern entrance of Beavers Bend state Park. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed and had a lovely hot tub as well as a great outdoor fire pit area. The wrap around deck is stellar from all angles. We’re so grateful the cabin was available to us as it is privately owned and NOT just another “shoddily new build income property”. It well loved and truly a peaceful getaway from the noise of the city. Thanks for a great time!
Karen was fantastic about communication before, during and after our girls weekend in their cabin. We even had an issue with shotguns being shot off between 1 - 2am (guessing with drunk July 4th partiers). Karen looked up in the wee hours of the morning, the only ordnance that I can refer to for help.
The cabin was very open, beautiful and fully prepared with everything my best friend and I needed for our annual fun weekend. We appreciate Karen for making this a great weekend and because she made is nice, I plan on bringing my husband back to this cabin in the future for one of our long weekend getaways.
We spent Christmas in this cabin. It was very neat and clean. The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, utensils, pot, pans, etc. We found everything we needed to make Christmas dinner. Plenty of towels and cleaning supplies too. I can’t think of anything that was missing. In fact we brought too much of our stuff such as a crockpot!! Check in and check out was super easy!!! I can’t say enough nice things about this cabin. I highly recommend it. We took our dogs to this pet friendly cabin and you would never know that pets have stayed there. The only thing that I wish it had was either a dresser or closet access in the front bedroom. I had clothes everywhere but again that would not keep me from from staying here again. Fabulous experience from beginning to end. Thank you for a great Christmas for me, my daughter and our dogs!!!!!
The property was amazing. Very clean, very beautiful. Can’t say enough nice things about the property and the host is very nice. I love that this is their cabin and not run by a management company. The only minus, is I wish I had known about the construction of a new cabin next door. They didn’t work on the weekend though, so not the biggest deal. Beautiful, beautiful place and very nicely decorated.

Hello! My husband and I love this cabin and spend plenty of time here with our 2 amazing young boys. We love making memories as a family doing the things we love such as boating, swimming, hiking, traveling, fishing, and any fun outdoor adventures.
Why they chose this property
There are so many cabins in Broken Bow that we looked at but Stream Life is unique because it is secluded and private which makes it very peaceful and serene, yet it is close to all the amenities (~10 mins away) such as the lakes, rivers, attractions, groceries, and restaurants. This place is a hidden gem tucked away in the middle of the forest but close to all the fun activities.
