Very spacious condo… it is also in a great location. Easy access by Lyft & walkable to the village. Owners need to have thermostat set before guest arrive. It was very cold on arrival & it took over 2 hours to get comfortable. Also tv source should be paid so guest can have immediate access to TV & WiFi. Make sure guest are aware on how to control heating system & fireplace instructions.

Spacious 2bd 2bath condo in Old Town Winter Park

This was not the original property that we booked back in April of 2022, but was notified by Vacasa in November that the ski in ski out we had booked was no longer available due to outside construction... so we had to choose what was left in inventory one month prior to our arrival or not have a place to stay, as most ski in ski outs were booked or much more expensive...but I will not give this property a lower score b/c it isn't the owners fault... We chose this property due to its seemingly close relation to the resort, having 2 bd (only 2 bds and one sofa sleeper) 2bath, and a hot tub... the bus routes were sporadic due to a shortage of CDL drivers so getting to the ski lifts wasn't terrible, but not what we had preferred, as we like to stop for lunch which was much more inconvenient waiting on buses each time. The condo is spacious, but the beds are small queens and firm... my 17 yr old son said the sofa sleeper wasn't comfortable even though past review said the mattress had been replaced... the couch cushions had water stains on them and could use a steam cleaning. The kitchen is very spacious and well equipped. The master bedroom has a huge bathroom with radiant heating which was nice. The hot tub didn't work correctly the first night, but worked great the second.. then it broke.. the property management was able to get someone out 2 days later.. but someone else had already repaired it... when he arrived... this is a community hot tub shared with quite a few units... main problem is it only seats 4.. so we had to really watch out the window to find times to go down to enjoy it. The gas grill didn't have a propane tank, so we couldn't use it to grill the meat we had brought... one great feature is the high door, heated garage... where we were able to park a full size SUV inside with the ski rack on... and store our skis/boards... The bus driver said that a gondola or ski lift is in the master plans to move people from old town to the resort... so when that happens this will be a super convenient property... overall this is a clean, spacious, and nice property.

Gorgeous view, well-appointed

We had to do a forced relocation from Grand Lake to Winter Park due to a chipmunk in our Grand Lake rental... The Winter Park rental was so nice and it made my travel partner and I decide that Winter Park will be our new summer vacation spot! It's close to Fraser River walki g trail as well as the bus stop for a quick lift into town. Highly recommend!

Well appointed condo

Well appointed condo with large living space. We tend to cook and the kitchen had everything we needed. Conveniently located close to the slopes and close to the resort shuttle. The only small issue is that the pull out bed in the living room is extremely uncomfortable and needs a new mattress. Would have giving it 5 stars if it wasn't for this

Condo Review

We were under the impression there would be a hottub to use until the day we arrived. It was closed due to pandemic. It also was poorly places in the parking area. Suggest a card stating where to find things in condo it's self as we searched everywhere for extra wash cloths and couldn't find any until last day. They were not with extra towels and hand towels. Other then that nice clean lovely place to stay. Would come again and recommend to friends and family. Conviently located between RMNP and other areas to visit in Colorado.

Spectacular condo

This condo had more than enough room for myself, hubby, and 3 children (12,12,10). The master bathroom had a steam shower which came in handy after a long day of skiing. The communal hot tub was not available because of COVID, but the steam shower made up for it. We also enjoyed the gas grill. In the kitchen it had several items that you would typically need to buy or bring with you. Like salt, pepper, aluminum foil, coffee, plastic wrap, paper towels, laundry detergent etc. It was nice not having to buy all of those things for just a week stay. We also loved how close we were to Winter Park ski base. You could walk or take the free “Lift” (shuttle bus). And it runs all the time and it seemed like we didn’t wait more than 5 minutes for it. Everything closes at 5pm in the village. Take out food was available but most everything else in downtown Winter Park closed at 5pm too. Which was fine, we just didn’t know. We loved our stay and if we come back- we will definitely rent this condo again!

Fantastic!!

Everything about this condo is perfect! Amazing views, great location, spacious, easy access to WP base area, comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, and list goes on. We also enjoyed watching the birds come eat all day from the feeder on the balcony. Elevator is a big plus as well and made unloading/loading a breeze. We will certainly be back to this property ASAP.

The condo was tidy and conveniently located near one of the bus stops. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stay here with our two girls for a family ski vacation. The property was clean and cute. It was located half a block away from a bus stop for the ski resort. So we were able to easily catch the shuttle. Our only complaint was the pillows. They desperately need to be replaced.

Great Open Concept

The three of us enjoyed our stay here. The photos don't do this place justice in regards to the open space.

A Favorite Place

We have enjoyed staying in Slopeside in Winter Park for many years. It is close to Fraser River Trail and the base. This unit was clean, nicely furnished, and well-stocked with basics. Beautiful view and a wonderful, quiet place to kick back and enjoy the mountains.

Great Place

We have been going to Winter Park and staying at Slopeside for years. We usually rent privately, but this year, that unit was larger than we needed, so I was delighted to find a smaller one (2 bedroom) available. It was clean, nicely furnished, well stocked with some basics to get us started, had a nice view. Perfect place for us. We like the Old Town location because of its proximity to the Fraser River Trail, and the base is a short walk away if you want to watch the bikers come down the hill while you have a Starbucks. Totally happy with this unit and recommend without any reservations.
