Amazing experience

Both locations were great and fit all of us perfectly. It is a couple miles from Montpellier and relatively close to Bear Lake. The houses were well equipped with things we didn’t even think to bring with us. The beds were comfortable and there were enough bathrooms to accommodate our family. We will definitely be reserving this location for our next trip to the area.

Great property for large group

The buildings were clean and well stocked. Maintenance responded quickly when we had an issue. It's in a rural area, but there's things to do and see within 30 minutes or so. We would absolutely stay there again.

Fun time

This property was so much fun. Fire pit, beds for everyone, and lots of play room outside. We have been here before and now they have another house on the property. Still a nice place to stay. It was great.

Couldn’t have asked for more!

Tiffany’s home was beautifully appointed! She thought of everything to make it comfortable and home-y. We could not have asked for a nicer stay or more space for our big family. You’ll feel right at gone as soon as you walk through the door.

Cute and accommodating

Very clean, just as described. Fit 3 families easily with plenty of room. The kids had a blast exploring outside. It was very close to a grocery store and the softball fields.

Overall great experience

A little nervous when pulling up to a trailer. However the inside is decorated very cute and clean with plenty of space for everyone. The only down fall is the drive to drive into garden city. Good communication with the owner and were able to easily arrange a later check out time easily.

Wonderful House

Our family loved our stay at your home. Lots to do around the area and bear lake is close. The house is beautiful inside and deceiving on the outside. The grounds were great, we had the fire pit and played volleyball all the time. There is even a pond for the older kids to catch frogs, but we left them there for others to find. There was even a little mascot there to welcome us(the cat) we named it Moufasa.

Not exactly what it seems. Sewer problems.

Nice enough owner, but be advised it's a single-wide trailer (on a basement); and the photographer should be commended for a superb job of hiding that fact. In the end, you can fit the group, but it's trailer tight. Don't plan on emergency help, either. The sewer backed up the first day and we were left to clean it up on our own until the next day. The owner did give us $250 off the first day, but that event ruined the two days of our vacation--and I had to clean up someone else's poop and spend an entire night washing clothes and bedding; so that didn't come near to making things right. In the end, a nice enough--if not very helpful--property owner, but I would steer clear of the property if there's any nother alternative.

This place fulfilled all our needs with our family of16 including children. One bedroom in the basement needs blinds. The volleyball area needs some work. The rural area is magnificent Thank you

Dangerous for new walking toddlers

Great for families with children over three. The stairs are dangerous and need a baby gate. We were constantly on high alert and someone had to stand guard at all times by the stairs for fear our 1yo would fall. Also, It is a modular home and that should be prevalent in the property description. Other than that it was great. Perhaps a bit over priced for what ya get.

Nice home.

We had a great stay. We had 4 adults and 7 small kids. The property was clean, we had plenty of space to sleep, eat and play. We enjoyed the fire pit and the proximity to North Beach (20 min). We found everything we needed and felt very comfortable there. The owner responded quickly to our questions. Overall we had a nice experience.

Read thoroughly! HUGE disappointment

This is a trailer! It was stated in the description as a modular home. It is much like a split entry home. The steps to go up to the trailer or down to the basement are tile and the edges are very sharp. A few of the edges are broken. I was extremely concerned as the kids using the stairs due to the sharp edges. We had 6 adults and 4 children. It was a tight fit. Only 6 people could easily fit at the table. There were 4 bar stools available for seating at the island and folding chairs also available. It would have been nice to have had all the family at the table. The front porch is old wood and the nails are protruding out of the wood. Walk on it with shoes only. When we initially walked in the trailer, the smell of fuel was extremely prevalent. The stove is gas burning unit. We immediately opened the windows to air the unit out since it reeked of fuel. After the smell was gone, we closed the windows and turned on the air conditioner. It was barely adequate. If the temperature had been above 85 degrees, it would have been too hot inside. Cooking heated up the trailer extremely fast. There were not enough larger pots to warm up or cook food with. Luckily, we brought a few of our own. The paint is peeling off the trim and molding. While wood paneling had been added, the edges were rough and not sanded. To touch the raw edges ended with splinters and snags on clothes. The basement was cool by quite a bit and we all spent the early evenings there. That was a saving grace. The basement had a lot of dead bugs and layers of dust. I realize that the trailer is in the country. This should have been cleaned by housekeeping. There was not adequate soap in the dispensers. This too should have been done by housekeeping. To say the fire pit is a disaster is an understatement. The wood for the benches is unfinished. To sit on the wood was painful because the unfinished surfaces had plenty of splinters. There were many, many broken bottles close to the fire pit. It was dangerous and hazardous especially for children. Close to the fire pit there were rusting cans and trash. This could have been a wonderful asset to the place; however, it was another disappointment. This trailer property rental fee does decrease during weekdays and weekends. This is grossly an overcharge for the condition of the trailer and property. I would not recommend this unit to anyone due to the dangers of the fire pit.

I'm local to Salt Lake City and I visit Bear Lake often. I manage several properties for both short-term and long-term rentals. I love providing clean, safe and fun places for guests to enjoy!

Why they chose this property

This property is the perfect place to get away from city life and enjoy the slow pace of a farming community. Bear Lake's North Shore has long sandy shores perfect for little ones to enjoy the sun and for soaking up the sun.

What makes this property unique

• The main home (upper cabin) has 5 private bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The living areas have 3 sofa beds and an air mattress. The kitchenette in the basement has a wall oven, microwave and refrigerator. Laundry equipment is available free for guest use. FLOORPLAN IN PHOTOS.

• The second home (lower cabin) was completed in 2022 and is a loft style home (no private bedrooms). The main level features a kitchen and living area, 2 bathrooms and laundry. The loft has 4 queen beds, with a sleeper sofa on the lower level. FLOORPLAN IN PHOTOS.

• BOTH HOMES are equipped with towels, shampoo, hand soap, toilet paper and dish soap. The kitchens are stocked with all the essentials (plus more) for meal prep and serving up to 30. WE RECOMMEND YOU BRING YOUR OWN DISPOSABLES FOR MEAL SERVING. Each home has a laundry area with a washer and dryer for guest use.

• BBQ grill on the back patio (upper cabin), volleyball court, badminton set, and Free Wifi. Both fire pits have a SMOKELESS Fire Pit Solo Stove which is wonderful for enjoying the cool evenings.
