The cabin was an amazing stay for our family. We fished off the dock and kayaked everyday. Our girls (ages 1&3) loved the property. The main living area was a wonderful set up and we loved the deck in the evenings . Accessibility to nearby hiking was also wonderful.
Beautiful and relaxing peaceful lake house and location. Enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the lake. Kids enjoyed kayaking and swimming. Only 45 minutes from Acadia National Park, which is a must see.
Great, stay at this lakeside cabin had a great time and so did my dog! Jaime was very helpful in booking when VRBO had troubles. Would definitely visit again!
I love this property, the whole family had a terrific time. The house was nice with the accommodation to match. I recommend this property to anyone looking for a scenic waterfront property away from the complexities of the city. The caretakers went above and beyond to even check on us during a hot day.
We had a wonderful time. Did some kayaking. The Loons were awesome. The kids had a great time in the lake and did some fishing. So many stars and a big moon shining on the lake on our last night. Thanks so much.
We had an amazing stay! The house was perfect and clean and we had everything we needed!
The lake was beautiful and we enjoyed swimming and kayaking. The drive to Bar Harbor was scenic and we enjoyed two days there hiking some of our favorite trails!
We hope to return again!! Thank You!!
We loved our stay at this property. Property was clean and well kept. Host is quick in responding. Highlight of our stay was the lake and the beautiful sunrise!
Stayed here while we explored Acadia NP. We stayed busy visiting the park but wish we’d had more time to enjoy the house and lake. Very clean, well-stocked and amazing views. Also appreciated the access to kayaks. Highly recommend!
This house and lake are absolutely gorgeous. It was so clean and inviting when we arrived. The home had everything our family could need. The deck was an extension of the house. Loved the covered deck in the back because it allowed us to still be outside on drizzly days. We LOVED the lake. So great for our dogs to play and swim in. It’s a beautiful lake to kayak in. It was nice that there were kayaks available so we didn’t have to bring our own. We were saying that this was one of our best vacations particularly since it allowed so much relaxation. Jaime was very responsive during the reserving process and leading up to our stay. Would rate more than 5 stars for every category if i could.
Dream house on the lake. My kids enjoyed the loft very much! The property has everything you will need so don't stress if you forget something. Super clean and I love the fact the property came stocked with kid friendly dinnerware. The property seems like it's isolated from everything but its not which is a big plus. The local grocers was a quick 10 min drive into quaint Cherryfield and there are so many free activities to do by this property. The lake was the biggest attraction with the 4 kayaks on the property. The family did the Tunk trailhead hike which is 2 minutes away from the property. We also explored McKellan Park in Millbridge which is about 20 minutes away. Honestly the property has so much to do like cornhole and the fire pit but we didn't get a chance to use them because of all the other things you can do by the property. Best rental ever especially if you want to stay away from touristy areas that are driving distance from Acadia. Our family definitely wants to come back next year!
The property was perfect. There were beautiful sunrises and sunsets, loons and fantastic nearby places to explore. Would definitely stay at this property again.
Very clean and private getaway. Our family enjoyed the immersion in nature. Coming from the Midwest we enjoyed the dark night skies and quietness of the lake. Would definitely stay again.
We had a great stay. Check-in and put was a breeze. The highlight of this property is the small, private beach along the lake. Morning coffee on the beach, afternoon cocktails on the beach, we barely spent time in the house!
Would certainly stay again.
We had an absolutely wonderful time staying here! Jaime was great with communication and Keegan is right next door if you need anything. Lake is literally in your backyard with 4 kayaks available for use. House was clean and orderly with plenty of linens to go around. Internet was drastically upgraded to Starlink service. A few evenings we streamed movies using the provided Roku device with no issues whatsoever. Our last night, Keegan even brought us some lobster he had just caught earlier that day! Would absolutely stay here again in the future. It was only maybe a 40ish minute drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia. Dorr Lobster is maybe 30 minutes away. Really had a great time and can’t thank Jaime and Keegan enough!
We cannot say enough about our hosts. They are unmatched in ease to communicate. It was very clear that our stay and comfort was their priority. Great location to walk dogs! They loved it too!
My husband a I wanted to road trip to Arcadia National Park in Maine for our second anniversary. The property was close enough to go back a forth yet far enough to be in the middle of nowhere. We spent a lot of time on the lake... kayaks were great fun. We loved it. Would stay there again.
The property was perfect for this family of five to decompress and enjoy the beauties that the quiet Spring River Lake has to offer. We kayaked, hiked, played games, and soaked in the calls of the loons. The property had all the amenities you would need for a family stay. The owners noted that the property is rural and to plan ahead for groceries/food, which we did, making a stop in Ellsworth.
