Edge of Sag Harbor Village
Very comfortable, well-appointed home on spacious property. Clean and decorated with taste and simplicity. Walkable to Sag Harbor Main Street while still very private. Pool is beautiful and garden as well. Host was friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Had a great time at pool and beach, trying out fabulous restaurants, etc. we’re hooked.

Excellent accommodations near the Village
We had a wonderful stay at Jenny’s house. It was well equipped for us to be very comfortable for our 2+ week trip with a newborn. Jenny was very responsive before and during our stay. The house was well maintained and backyard/patio/pool area really stood out and was enjoyed throughout our whole stay. We walked to SH village many times for dinner, shopping etc. and loved the location of the house for its quiet setting in nature. This is our 3rd year renting in SH and by far our favorite place to date. We would totally stay again.

Sag Harbor Vacstion
My family of 5 had a wonderful week at Jenny’s Sag Harbor home. The location was great, an easy walk into Sag Harbor as well an easy drive to beaches and neighboring Hamptons towns. We especially loved the large family and well equipped kitchen. We spent a great deal of time up at the pool.

Great family home
We had the best month of July this summer. We chose this house because of the location and the backyard and we took full advantage of both. The house is located an easy 10-15 min walk to town which was lovely to take our 3.5 year old son and dog on a walk. It was also super convenient because we could hop in the car and grab groceries or iced coffee, etc and not have to drive 15 mins to get there as you so often do anywhere in the hamptons. The backyard is the best part of the property. The landscaping is gorgeous with a table right outside the kitchen to have breakfast or dinner. The grill is also right there and super easy to use (I learned this summer how to grill). But just up a few steps you have this large beautiful pool that gets so much sunlight all day until about 430 which by that point you are happy to see a little shade. Especially for the little ones. The pool also has great shallow area and steps for young kids to ease their way in. There is a fence around the property which was great to keep our dog from running away and kept the deer out which meant less ticks. We only saw one the entire month which is remarkable considering the tick season we had. Jenny, the owner, even arranged to have the property sprayed when I voiced my fear about ticks on the property before we got there. What we could not have predicted was how accommodating the owner Jenny would be. This was our first time renting a house for this long and she could not have been more helpful or patient. She also responded super quickly! The first week we told her the mattress in our room felt sunk in and she replaced it in a day. Overall the house felt inviting , cozy, and easy to navigate. It was great for entertaining the way it's laid out. I would definitely recommend this house to someone for an extended stay or a brief getaway.

Excellent Summer Retreat
My family rented this house for the entire month of August through Labor Day 2015. We live in New York City and we were looking for a beachy small town retreat. We had a fantastic stay, and the house couldn't have served us better. At the time, we had a 3 year old and multiple families with young children stayed with us throughout the month. The house was well equipped for families with young children. Jenny (the owner) was also incredibly accommodating, allowing us to install a removable pool fence, which is still available as an option for current renters. The backyard with the incredible heated pool was probably our favorite aspect of the house. We dined outdoors every evening on the charming patio (equipped with well maintained, clean grill) and got hours of enjoyment from the pool, hammocks, tree swing, and fruit trees in the large back yard. We also appreciated that the main part of town is within walking distance with good restaurants, coffee shops, flywheel, gym, and yoga nearby. Jenny, the owner, could not have been more accomodating, and was readily available to answer questions. She was a pleasure to work with. The house is very well maintained and we were very happy that Jenny had an excellent cleaning lady/house manager, who kept things tidy for us week after week. She was also happy to run out to pick up extra beach towels, and run errands for us. She even brought us fresh flower arrangements from the farm stand upon request. The house is bright, airy, and situated nicely on a woodsy private street. It is beautifully landscaped with a lovely outdoor shower. It accommodates multiple families comfortably. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a Hamptons summer retreat.

Wonderful weekend in an amazing house!
A group of friends and I stayed at Jenny's Sag Harbor home over Memorial Day weekend and it was the perfect house for us. The house is within walking distance to town which is very convenient! It is also extremely clean, organized, and comfortable. The best part of the whole property is the backyard. The beautiful landscaping surrounds the nice sized pool and patio/seating space. We spent most of our time out here! Besides the house being awesome, Jenny was very easy to communicate with. She provided our group with great suggestions for restaurants, wineries, and other Sag Harbor attractions. Her hospitality and responsiveness made the weekend that much better! Our whole group thoroughly enjoyed the house and Jenny's recommendations! I would absolutely love to rent Jenny's house again!

Perfect location and house for a big family!!
We have now stayed at this wonderful home twice. Once for several days over Thanksgiving and the second time for five weeks from the start of August until Labor Day. The key elements of location, house, backyard, host and neighbors are all great! The location is walking distance to the center of the village so it is perfect for going for coffee in the morning, but it is also just outside of the more densely built area so you have bigger lots, green spaces and very little traffic. It is quiet. The house was the perfect size for us as we had five to eight adults and two to five children over our stay. The layout is very functional, but also very cozy. The backyard is uniquely designed for the area and perfect for spending long hours there. The host is wonderful - reasonable, attentive and very responsive. During both of our stays, people in the immediate neighboring houses were quiet and considerate. All of these attributes made it an easy choice for us to rent the house in the summer after having stayed there once already.

A week at this beautiful home!
What an amazing home! So clean, so comfortable and so cozy! From the moment you walk in you feel like you are home. Jenny (the owner) even left some goodies for us (some cheese, fruit and white wine). What a nice, sweet detail! Overall the house is spacious with very comfortable rooms and outstanding showers in the bathrooms. The outside area is stunning!! It has a wonderful, very large pool (that has no chlorine! So great for both babies and adults!) and gorgeous landscaping! We basically had all of our meals outdoor because there is a great grill and table for 6 right next to it. The indoor kitchen is also lovely. It had every utensil and appliance we could possibly need. All were brand new and well kept. The housekeeper that Jenny recommended was also great and was super friendly with our baby and dog. The location is wonderful just close enough to town (10 minute walk) and just far enough as well (very quiet! a very special street in the neighborhood! something we absolutely loved!). For us this was a great daily early morning walk and a nice plus for people with kids is that all the coffee shops in town open very early (6am!). Our daily morning walks were lovely. We had such a wonderful time with our 11 month old baby and dog! We look forward to returning! Thank you Jenny!

Wonderful, charming home
We stayed at this home over New Years. We were impressed with the house; plenty of space, clean, and charming. The kitchen is large and wide open, and we had everything we needed to make a prime rib dinner for the holiday. The fireplace works and there were lots of books to read. Jenny, the owner, was really easy to deal with. Location is great. We walked to town in 10 minutes (walking with children. Would be 5 min for adults). Can't comment on the pool/yard because it was December, but they looked beautiful. We would love to stay here again.

Great House for a Family
My family moved from New York to San Francisco a few years ago and we rented this house for the month of July to get some time back on the east coast. The house was perfect as we were able to host some friends and family during the course of the month. The house had everything we needed and the owner was very accommodating making the move-in easy as well as helping with any questions or request we had during the month. The location was great for us because we have a young baby and we were able to easily walk into town with a stroller. We also enjoyed the quiet back yard and street which was a nice oasis for us coming from living in a big city. We are excited about hopefully coming back next year.

Great House!
My family (including two children under 3) stayed here for a week in June. The house was exactly what we were looking for--cozy and nicely decorated, but perfect for a family with young kids. The kitchen, which is brand-new, is huge and has every type of pot/pan that you could need as well as an abundance of plates, bowls, glasses, etc. There is also a large BBQ in the backyard that we used every night. It made eating dinner with two kids so much easier than going out. The pool was what initially drew us to the house and it didn't disappoint. We spent many hours in the beautifully landscaped backyard. We also spent some time at the beach, which was just a quick drive from the house. We also really liked that the house was close to town. We found the Buddha Berry frozen yogurt shop on our first day and we became regulars on our stay. The whole process from the first contact with Jenny to our last was easy and professional. We really appreciated the wine and cheese/fruit platter that she left for us when we got there. Much needed after a long car ride and a great start to our stay. We hope to be back next summer!!!!

WONDERFUL house!!! Perfect location, adorable & charming.
I grew up going to my family summer home in Bridgehampton (the town over from Sag Harbor) for the past 30 years but wanted a change of scenery for a weekend so searched for a home for a few friends to stay at for a weekend in June. I did a lot of research & stopped by several homes to meet their owners, take a look around, and I instantly loved this home. From the outside you can see the landscaping is perfect and the home is adorable. You instantly feel the "Hamptons vibe" - beautiful antique/ralph lauren looking décor, large eat in kitchen, great natural light, etc. The rooms are decorated very nice and everything is immaculate. The backyard has a BBQ, built in pool (which was sparkling), a hammock, several lawn chairs & beautiful stepping stones. Everyone knows LOCATION is key when looking for a home...especially in The Hamptons. Sag Harbor is the perfect location because it is in the middle of The Hamptons & conveniently located. The town is perfect for all ages and has many options. You can grab a drink at Harlow while watching the beautiful yachts & listening to Raggae music, walk around town & browse the great shops, grab a bagel at Bagel Buoy and relax near The Harbor, take your kids for burgers at LT Burger, grab a cup of coffee at Sagtown Coffee or listen to fun music at Buddha Berry while filling up your Frozen Yogurt cup (this frozen yougurt place is so great Andy Cohen speaks about it in his Diaries). And the great thing is you can walk to all of these places from this house!! The house is in 10 - 15 minute walk to the heart of town. Additionally, if you want to check out other towns they are only minutes away. Bridgehampton (8 minute drive away), East Hampton (15 minute drive away), Southampton (20 minute drive away). the options are endless. There is a public beach in Bridgehampton that you do not need passes or a parking sticker for (just pay attention to the signs and where you park!). We were a group of professionals in our 30's and we spent time in Sag Harbor, Bridgehampton and East Hampton when we weren't relaxing at the beautiful house. Really, there isn't a reason to leave the house but if you want to there are so many options. Oh, also... the kitchen in the house is fabulous. There is a great island counter, large refrigerator, etc. We had plenty of counter space to prepare delicious snacks and cocktails for our summer day! As a native to the area, I know the options and this is a true charm!!!

It has everything you need for a Family Vacation to Remember! Location and Amenities!
We rented this lovely home for my husband's birthday and his family who flew into town for the celebration. Even though the weather was not ideal and it rained we still had a wonderful time because of everything Jenny did to make it feel like home. The kitchen was great to make meals and we spent the nights playing card games in the living room. The house was so cozy yet big enough for everyone to have their space. It is in the perfect location so we could run to/from Sag Harbor when needed. It was such a special week I cannot imagine how great it would be if the sun was shining and we used the pool and yard! Lots of laughter and memories were made for sure! We will definitely be back.

Charming home
My family had a wonderful time at this charming house. It is cozy and in great condition. The property offers a lot of privacy yet is not too far from downtown Sag Harbor. The pool, outdoor barbecue and terrace really made the home a nice retreat. We have a one year old daughter and Jenny couldn't have been more accommodating in making the house toddler friendly. We had a lovely experience with the house and Jenny and look forward to staying here again!

Great vacation for Family, Kids and Friends!!!
We had the pleasure of staying for 10 days after Labor Day weekend. We had a wonderful reunion of 3 generations including grandparents along with our 3.5 years old and 1.5 year olds and some friends. This wonderful and lovely house accommodated all of our needs and our rotating guests and everyone had a blast. The newly renovated kitchen was great and we took advantage of the outdoor grill with a bbq. The pool and back yard was gorgeous with lush flowers and landscapes and the entire backyard was a very serene place to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee. The outdoor shower was also a great bonus to have and very convenient. The upstairs master bedroom had a little nook to the side which was perfect size for a pack and play. The location to Sag Harbor town was fantastic, it was a quick less than 10 minutes walk and even quicker 2 minute drive, close to everything, restaurants, jitney stop and quaint little shops. We drove out to the East Hamptons and Montauk and very easy to get to Kmart and supermarkets and the Bridgehampton train stop. Jenny was very organized, friendly and answered all of my questions as I was traveling with young children and elderly parents. She left a great binder with area information, had pool toys in the shed and took care of all of our needs throughout the 10 days. Highly recommend this home and hope to return soon!

large group from Colorado and New York
We arrived from Colorado and met with family from New York City including young children. Prior to our arrival, I had been in close touch with the owner, Jenny, who is warm, intelligent, organized and incredibly helpful. The house is absolutely lovely and situated idyllically, with a large back yard abutting a nature preserve and a magnificent pool with beautiful landscaping. We were only five minutes from town by foot, close to sailing, kayaking and the beautiful town beaches. There is a magnificent cemetery en route to town where Balanchine is buried! The interior of the house is recently updated with a great kitchen, living room, fast wifi, comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms. We definitely hope to return next summer.

Terrific Summer Retreat!
The house is in terrific shape - it's clean and well appointed with charm and modern conveniences (fast wi fi throughout). The outside space by the pool is absolutely fantastic. The lawn stretches back in to the woods giving a wonderful sense of space. Jenny, the owner, is incredibly organized, reliable, and tends to all details with cheer and thoughtfulness. It was a wonderful month.

Great Place in Sag Harbor
The house was exactly as advertised. Very close to Sag Harbor village, nicely decorated and very clean. The real surprise was how great the back yard and pool are -- perfect for lounging around all day! I would definitely give a high rec for anyone that is looking for a weekend rental out east.

I was raised in the San Francisco Bay area where my mother ran our home as a B&B, so am very familiar with the hospitality industry. I moved from Manhattan to Sag Harbor in 2006, raised my children there and am familiar with all things Sag Harbor (especially restaurants, outdoor activities and fun for kids!) I'm an avid reader and traveller so have a huge variety of books. Ask me about some of the many nearby hiking trails.

What makes this property unique

Its unusual to find a house this close to downtown Sag Harbor that's on a really quiet street, borders woods and really feels like you're out in the country!
