Summer cottage vibes

We come back every year. The location is perfect. Love the beach and the easy walking access to the public beach. Quiet and gorgeous views from the beach. We appreciated the AC for sleeping in the hot weather.

Perfect Vermont summer place

The place is simple yet perfect! Two nice bedrooms, a screened in porch, an outside deck, a beautiful view of the lake from the living area. The fireflies gave an amazing performance on the wildflowers next to the house. The lake was cool and serene. My daily walk was wonderful.

Beautiful view and open floor concept

It's perfect for a getaway with breathtaking view of lake Champlain across the backyard. The open floor concept of the common space is lovely and comfortable. The dock seemed to be under repair so ask about access before you book if you plan to swim. All in all it's a repeater for the off season!

Very nice location

We had a wonderful time at Charlotte's Lil Haus. The house is adorable, clean, and fabulous location. It has a wonderfully stocked kitchen with everything you could ever need. The bedrooms are sufficient. The location is great, close to Burlington and in a nice area of Vermont. The only drawback is it doesn't have direct access to the lake privately. You have to walk through other yards to get down to the dock. Once you are down there it is gorgeous and the dock is as peaceful as it gets. There is also no outdoor fire pit. It would be nice to have an outdoor firepit area to enjoy the lake and views at night. Other than that, a wonderful home!

Location location

Great place, very close to the lake. An easy walk down to dock. Unfortunately there was signs of mice droppings inside, and even a dead mouse on premises when we arrived, wasn’t as clean as we hoped, but didn’t ruin the stay. Did not seem the property was adequately cleaned/checked prior to arrival

Excellent location with amazing views

We had a wonderful time. The house is an beautiful, short drive into burlington. The sunset view was perfect as the house faces west and is just a short walk from the lakeside.

Inaccurate listing

This area of Vermont is stunning and the kitchen and living area were very nice. However, the advertised dock was NOT in the water and there is no access to the lake. I spoke with 4 different people at Vacasa, just to make sure I wasn't missing something. The local agent never called back as promised. Lastly, the beds are really old and have very uncomfortable coils.

Adorable place

We enjoyed our stay overall the house was well kept and perfect for our needs. We were a bit disappointed that the listing showed a nice shared dock however that wasn’t the case. Porches could use a little TLC and maybe a fire pit would be nice it’s such a beautiful spot would have liked to spend more time outside enjoy other view!!

Simple Switch - beds!

The location is beautiful! I would definitely stay here again, IF the beds are upgraded. They are mattresses sitting on incredibly old and unsupported spring frame. No one in my family slept well. It’s a simple fix, which would make a big difference.

Spectacular property, lovely home

We had a wonderful time at the Lil Haus. The lakefront property is absolutely gorgeous and amazingly relaxing. I think its probably the nicest property I have ever rented. The house itself is more spacious than it looks, its nice and open with a great double porch, half screened and half open. Everything was very clean and it was nice to have the washer and dryer to use as well. I will give a few details that were not clear to me when I rented the place in case it helps someone else. The dock is great, but its down some steep and kind of treacherous steps. Not a big deal for most people but could be a problem for someone disabled or for small children. You can swim off the dock but the bottom is very rocky, so you'll want to pack some water shoes. The furnishings in the home are a bit basic. The mattresses weren't great, and I was glad I brought my own pillows since the ones at the house were really flat and I was glad to not have to use them. That said, overall, this place really is a gem, and we can't wait to return.

Amazing getaway

The home was perfect for our fishing trip. Right on the water and comfortable slept our group of four. The Local Operations Manager Jason was amazing. You can tell he really cares. He was quick to respond when we had questions or concerns and Nate was a huge help as well!

Beautiful Getaway

Definitely a relaxing home away from home ! The dock Alone is the most amazing experience ever , with such a beautiful scenery & atmosphere! The house was very clean , we enjoyed everything about this Getaway ! The property owner is so welcoming and wonderful & vacasa’s customer service is AMAZING ! Thank you for hosting us , We’ll be back as soon as it’s available again !

Would stay again for longer

Great property had everything we needed.one small very important detail the twin beds in other room need matress upgrades.they are sinked in the middle n stiff as a board.other then that it was perfect.lots of views lots of windows and omg lots of heat n thermostats everywhere lol would recommend n hope matress get and upgrade as they are cheap to replace every 5 or so years.

False Advertising

Advertised 1 full bath and 1 half bath, but only had one bath. Advertised dock access with a nice picture, but all we found was a set of decrepit/unsafe stairs going down a steep decline probably 50-70 feet to the water level! Lot of cobwebs in the bedrooms, screen door to deck was shot - came off the rails on first attempt to open. Never got access to Wi-Fi, no login/password info at house, called help-desk who was supposed to research and get back to me, but never got a call back.

Disappointing Lil Haus

The house was comfortable, with peaceful surroundings, and truly looked just as depicted on the VRBO site. The disappointment was finding that we could not get the wifi to work (no password given in the write-up or by the property mgr), nor could we get the TV system to work (after repeated attempts, including contacting the property mgr). Luckily, we made our cell phone a personal hotspot, so then had wifi with the devices we'd brought. Re: TV, owner needs to give specific step-by-step instructions. Neither the write-up, the VRBO rep nor the property mgr could help us. While it was disappointing, it was not the worst thing in the world. Make sure you bring a book!
