Attractive upstairs apartment, in beach-side house with communal patio, leading directly onto one of the quietest and most beautiful beaches on the West Coast, with excellent swimming and snorkelling in the crystal waters of the Caribbean. Comprising 2 air-conditioned bedrooms, one with en-suite bathroom, the other with en-suite shower room and washing machine. There is a well-equipped modern kitchen for the chefs among your party. The lovely light sitting room, with stunning views of the Caribbean and the beach, has a cooling breeze blowing through it for most of the year. In essence perfection.
The village shopping centre and supermarket are within easy reach on foot. There are several excellent restaurants nearby, including the world-renowned Cliff. We are 1.5 km away from Sandy Lane and its world-class golf facilities. Waters sports, fishing, and glass-bottomed boats are virtually on the doorstep - and, if requested, many will pick you up from the beach.. For those who don’t wish to hire a car the bus stop is nearby, and the buses run frequently up until 11.30 pm. The apartment has Wifi internet access and on site security.
Little Reef is well situated for multiple activities. From the very beautiful beach, a few short steps away, there is snorkelling on the reef, where you may spot one of the resident turtles, meandering among shoals of brightly coloured fish. Boating and water sport activities are also on offer from operators on the way to the big resorts past Sandy Lane. Fishermen bring their daily catch into Fitts Village, just in front of Jordan's Supermarket, a five-minute walk along the beach.
For those who don’t want to miss the exploits of their favourite team, Wendy’s sports bar is just a couple of minutes away, across the road. Wendy's also have a snack bar. Alternatively there’s the Surfside bar in Holetown (15 minutes away by bus and car), a great spot for being on the beach and watching the footie at the same time. Holetown is also the place to go to if you want a bank, pizza or the larger Massy’s supermarket, which will deliver your shopping if you don't have a car. Holetown also boasts plenty of watering holes and restaurants. Bridgetown and the South Coast are around twenty minutes by car and the buses run regularly.
If you just want to chill out Little Reef’s balcony is a great place for watching the frigate birds wheeling above, maybe a fisherman making a catch, and world go by – and, if you are up early and very, very, lucky you may get a glimpse of a monkey in the nearby shack-shack tree. If you want take a tan back home Little Reef has a lovely sunny patio, or you can take the extra few steps to the beach. At the end of the day there is often nothing better than a walk along the beach or just watching a beautiful sunset and the boats making for home, while you enjoy a sundowner.
