Living room converts instantly into a second sleeping room & dresser with a comfortable queen Murphy bed already made with super soft sheets and comforter.
Come stay in the Heart of Joseph, walk to all the shops and art galleries. Breakfast, lunch and dinner, are all just walking distance. Stroll through Saturday market or enjoy the outdoor seating at several restaurants with live music events. If you are staying in, you can cook up a special dinner and have a night of board games or just lay back and TV veg. The beautiful lake can call your name for a fun filled day. See the sights, Hike, fish, stand up paddle-board, canoe, or just float on the water. Joseph also has a wonderful park with water features. The Beauty is Truly Endless.

This wonderful town has so much to see. Great restaurants and many events.
This is a smoke free, pet free vacation rental absolutely no acceptations . No Service animals they would directly threaten the health and safety of the next guest, as we offer pet free accommodations for people with pet allergies and to our house cleaner who is allergic to pet dander. The presence of an animal fundamentally alters the nature of the housing. Their would be no way we could clean thoroughly enough between guest to eliminate any and all allergens from animal left in the home. A cleaning charge of $300 and immediate cancelation will be enforce if any animals enter the rental or any smoking/vaping inside.

Long weekend in Joseph

This was the perfect place to stay for time in Joseph. Literally in the middle of town and walkable to most restaurants and shops. Check in and check out was a breeze. Hosts have an immaculate property, and left us wine, cheese and crackers at check in. I would highly recommend this listing for your next trip to Eatern Oregon.

You cannot beat the location. Very clean and great amenities. Nice botte of wine and crackers. Slack was the eatery of our choice. Would stay again!

Perfect stay

We enjoyed staying in the quaint town of Joseph. It was great to be able to walk to restaurants (Embers & Blythe Cricket were the best!) Our stay was very clean & comfortable. We’d definitely stay here again.

Relaxing stay in beautiful surrounding

The location was excellent, right in center of town. Very clean and well equipped. Owner had left welcome gift of wine, cheese, and crackers. Beautiful mountains and lake nearby.

Super Clean & Comfy

Excellent location right in town; Well appointed one level apartment that was very quiet. Fluffy towels & very comfortable king bed. Like new carpeting everywhere. No view but when you’re spending every day sightseeing & hiking it’s nice to wind down quietly. So convenient to walk to dinner a few nights & get a donut across the street in the morning! Enjoy, we sure did!

Perfect little get away

This place was perfect for our stay. Easy walk to every store in town. The bed was the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in and the place was exceptionally clean and very well maintained. Awesome stay! We will be back.

Great Place

This was a unique property located right in downtown Joseph. The place was clean and well-appointed. It was the most seamless check-in and check-out process I’ve ever experienced. Highly recommend this place for enjoying all that Joseph has to offer.

Cozy and Nice

The property is a cozy 1-bedroom apartment located behind a real estate office in downtown Joseph. It was recently remodeled, with nearly new kitchen appliances and what appear to be new cabinets. All of the appliances worked great. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and there was lots of hot water in the shower. The property managers were readily available when we had questions. As to the trip, we spent much of our time traveling about, seeing parts of the area that we had not visited when I did my geologic thesis mapping in the Eagle Cap Wilderness in the 1970s.

First Time Trip to Joseph

Upon arrival, we were treated to a lovely bottle of wine along with cheese and crackers. Lovely touch. Location was superb, right in the heart of town with easy access to restaurants, shops, etc. I HIGHLY recommend.

Cozy Condo in Joeph

Owners did an awesome job decorating and stocking all the amenities for a most enjoyable stay in Joseph and Wallowa Lake. Condo layout was perfect. Kitchen and dining room as one room with openness to living room. Bedroom had plenty of storage for clothing. Bathroom was very spacious. Plenty of hot water for a very soothing and long shower. In the living room was a trundle bed for more than 2 guests. All rooms were very well decorated. We went to Joseph to enjoy a relaxing Memorial Day weekend. Fishing, sight-seeing and eating out was our main plans. No problem succeeding. Weather forecast for Joseph, Oregon and surrounding area was rain, more rain, and thunder showers. We got some of all 3 but there was also breaks in the weather to enjoy trout fishing and site-seeing. Restaurants and grocery stores were within walking distance. I would give all the restaurants in Joseph, Oregon at least a 4 star review. Eating out most of time meant very little eating in. The kitchen at the condo had everything needed to cook 3 meals a day for more than 4 people, except for the food that would have needed to be purchased at the grocery store that was less than a block away. 5 star overall rating for the condo. Only drawback was a minor one. Would have been nice to have a covered patio out back to relax in the late afternoon and take in the awesome scenery of the snow covered mountains. There was 2 chairs and a small table outside but never was able to use them. Way it goes when it rains. Oh well. Still, the trip and stay was awesome and would have liked to stay a couple more days and for sure will book this condo again.

Delightful Stay!

Craig and Kathleen have a great property. It is located with great access to all downtown Joseph has to offer. And it was only 5-10 minutes away from Wallowa Lake and all its serenity. We were a little skeptical when we first arrived at the entrance behind the property because it was very plain. But don't worry! The unit was excellent. Very clean, very roomy and comfortable. The king size bed was very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return!

Awesome location!

It was perfect for my husband and I and our adult daughter. very clean and the beds were comfortable, and being able to walk to restaurants was great! Short drive to the mountains for hiking. Couldn't have been better!

Amazing Place

We had a great week in Joseph, OR. This house was perfect for us and centrally located for easy access. The owners are friendly and quick to respond. Totally worth it. We’ll probably return.

Downside; advertised as 2 bathroom.. 2nd bath is in hallway adjacent. Requires exiting apartment and reentering using a 2nd key. 2nd bath is 1/2 bath only. Shower water temperature was tepidly warm in AM and cold in evening. Advertised big screen TV's were not connected to local channels. Net Flix and Hulu were apparently available if you had and account for each so you could access. Otherwise no TV. Would I stay again. Would need to see if water and TV issues were resolved.

Great location. Very comfortable!

Overall we really enjoyed our stay here. Great location right in town and easy walk to restaurants. We liked Embers the most. We Loved the sectional sofa. We could both stretch out after a day of hiking. The king bed was absolutely awesome too and one of the reasons we chose this place. So rare to get a king. Tons of kitchen counter space was really the bomb! We were moving cross country and had our car loaded up to the brim and loved hat we could put our bins and crates on the counter. Made it easy to get to our things. I would’ve rated this a 4.5 star but did not have that option. The reason I rated this 4 stars is that it was well over 90 degrees and the tiny wall ac unit in the bedroom just barely made it habitable. And then when it cools off late at night there was no window in the bedroom to open for some of that cool fresh air. We’re very much fresh air people. There were 2 chairs out the back door perched on the dusty gravel area-roadway. Unfortunately just not really appealing to sit there in the evenings. To cool off a bit we sat in the 2 chairs in the front of the place. That was ok. No table though to rest a drink. I also had to do some cleaning on top of the fridge, (I’m tall and I get that most people don’t see that), counters and some cooking pots we used. Overall we were satisfied. And would recommend staying here.

Fabulous spot in the heart of Joseph!

Great spot to enjoy the Joseph area! Right on Main St and close to all the shops and restaurants, it makes for a great jumping off point for the area. The apartment was super clean with very nice touches and comfortable beds, and the check in and check out process was very seamless.

Beautiful unit in Joseph!

This was a great spot in the heart of Joseph! The unit was clean and lovely. We had 4 adults in our group which meant we used the Murphy bed and it was very comfortable! Overall, an amazing and affordable stay!
