Here on our farm you can enjoy "The best of both worlds". After spending your day enjoying the sights and sounds of downtown Nashville and Middle Tennessee retreat to the fresh country air and serenity of this log cabin home. Sitting on a 15 acre private gated farm just 35 minutes north of downtown Nashville in the town of Cottontown, the cabin is conveniently only 10 minutes from I-65.

We have furnished the cabin with your comfort in mind. You will find a large open living area with a stone gas fireplace for chilly cozy evenings. There is a full kitchen with everything you'll need for home-cooked meals complete with a full size refrigerator and dishwasher. The main floor master bedroom features a queen size bed and private bath with jacuzzi tub. Upstairs in the loft there are three twin beds plus a rollaway bed available upon request. The loft also has a desk for guest use and a 2nd full bath with a stand up shower. A washer & dryer are also provided for your convenience. Outside you can relax on one of two porches watching the horses graze.

Around the farm you will occasionally you will see deer making their way across the pasture. You will encounter rabbits at night. Our horses may come to the fence to see who is here. Feel free to feed them carrots or apples. We also have chickens and you are welcome to walk up and visit them.

You’ll love the peaceful, bucolic location of this property! While you’ll love relaxing at your private cabin, be sure to venture out and explore the surrounding areas and discover all there is to do, just a short drive away. We live on the same farm in the house next door to the cabin.

Get away in the country

Adorable cabin full of comfort. Enjoyed the peaceful views from the porch. Nice amenities. Even got introduced to the owners animals. Great area to stay with Nashville and several cute towns nearby.

Rustic feel with modern convenience

Very charming property. The cabin has a rustic feel, but every amenity is available. We loved sitting on the front porch in the morning for a relaxing cup of coffee overlooking the farmland.

Peaceful Sanctuary

What a beautiful place to relax and unwind. The cabin is so comfortable and immaculate. The surrounding farm animals are a bonus. So nice to watch them grazing in the fields. Can't wait to make a return visit!

Relaxing and Peaceful

We had a relaxing time staying at the cabin on Roney Creek Farm. It is a quiet and peaceful place to return to after spending the day in Nashville or surrounding areas. The cabin is clean and well stocked. Communicaiton with Michael was great. He met us at the cabin the evening we arrived to show us around and give us all the information we would need for our stay. Would highly recommend!

Lovely cabin

My partner and I along with our 22 month old spent three nights at the cabin and really enjoyed it! The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful and it was so fun for my toddler to see all the farm animals and even get to help feed the horses dinner, pick out some eggs from the chicken coop, and play with the resident St Bernard! The only thing I will say for any families with a child too young to really understand directions is the fence that keeps the cows in their pasture, which is maybe ten feet from the cabin, is electrified-- so you can't let your kid wander freely outside as you may want to in an open area. The stairs inside the cabin are open-back, so dangerous for a baby/toddler as they could fall through. We did not bring a baby gate so had to make-shift block off the stairs. I think for slightly older kids than mine it would have been perfect, as the top floor has a super cool feel that kids would love. Still, we made it work and would be happy to go back for another visit. Superb hosts. Thank you!

Had such a wonderful time at the cabin. It was very inviting and so comfortable. Everything was there that you could possibly need. And visiting all the animals was an amazing bonus! Mike and Linda are wonderful hosts and very accommodating. Already booked a return trip!

Would give it 10 stars if I could!

This little gem was a perfect way for our family to spend the first week of the new year. The listing and descriptions were true to form, and there were no surprises - except for good ones - throughout out stay. The idyllic setting was just what these city folk needed, and we enjoyed interacting with horses, chickens, goats, dogs, cats and deer. The cabin was so well equipped that there wasn't anything that we needed and didn't have. All four of us needed reliable wi-fi/internet at different times throughout the week for work or school, and it did not disappoint. The owner was available and kept checking to make sure we had everything we needed. We hope to return!

Reverence for craftmanship
