We stayed in the log hogan and it was a great experience and would highly recommend it. We hiked around the property and watched the stars. Very beautiful location.
I like unusual accommodations and always try to find one real outstanding. This hogan is outstanding like no other. Even tree houses cannot match up. I and my friends enjoyed staying here with admiration and respect for the native Americans.
Stay was nice, relaxing, and peaceful. We enjoyed visiting with all the dogs on the property. Sleeping under the stars at night was amazing. Stay was as advertised, clean, and host communicated well.
Magical experience in a genuine Diné (Navajo) environnement but very minimalistic.
We loved our experience at Shash Diné and the best part was having a chance to discover the Diné (Navajo) culture and discuss with Paul & Baja.
We slept in the traditional hogan made of dried mud which was understandably dusty but SO charming.
As for the services, the outdoor washroom was clean and the navy shower was not so comfortable but we are aware that they almost finished building the shower house and this will be a game changer for this place.
We look forward to staying again !!
