Perfectly situated beach house in Sea Isle only 40 steps to the beach (no street to cross). Appropriately named Cool Breezes, the bright and airy open floor plan offers views of the Gulf.
This three bedroom, one level home with two bathrooms is the perfect home for anyone who wants to enjoy peace and quiet.
Expansive deck allows for sun bathing and views of the beach. Ground floor provides more views, sitting and grilling area. An Outdoor shower is available to rinse off after a long day at the beach.
House amenities:
55" smart tv with Sling and two 32" smart tvs, wifi, brand new ac unit, charcoal grill, stackable washer/dryer.

Cool Breezes is located in Sea Isle. Only a .2 mile walk to the Sea Isle Supermarket. And an easy 1 mile walk to the Bait Shop, Sandbar Grille, The West End Marina and restaurant. Other amenities include community pool (for an additional fee), tennis court and playground.

Getting around
Cool Breezes is on the West end of Galveston Island. Only 16 miles to the East end for groceries at Walmart or Kroger and 16 miles to Moody Gardens. Only 21 miles to The Strand for unique restaurants and bars.

Great Location and place for just getting away

Sunrise at the beach

The property was cozy, well-stocked, and had the perfect layout for spending time with friends and family. Enjoyed the sunrise over the beach from the deck. Short walk to the beach.

Great Place to stay

This property was very clean! Had great views of the beach and direct access. The beds were very comfortable and there was room for my whole family. My family enjoyed it and can’t wait to go back with warmer weather!

Cozy beach house getaway

We had a fantastic family getaway and very much enjoyed our 4 day stay at this house. The owners were responsive and friendly, and the house is exactly as described/pictured. Everyone had enough room to spread out and be comfortable for the entirety of our stay. The neighbors are friendly and respectful as well. Definitely will return to this house again in the future.

Spring Break Stay

We had a great trip. Cool Breezes was a great find. It allowed our kids (college age) to come and go with their friends with plenty of room. The house is well equipped with games and puzzles and we listened to our young adult kids giggling until 2 am each morning playing games. We used the grill and the snow cone machine (an unexpected find but loved by all staying here). There is a coffee pot AND Keurig. I could have my one cup quickly and hubby could have his gourmet coffee when he was ready. Rarely are there enough towels and washcloths at rentals but Cool Breezes had enough. One of the first times we didn’t have to buy washcloths or kitchen towels. It is as advertised- 40 steps to the sand and despite not being a first row house, has a great unobstructed view of the beach. Perfect for morning coffee and mimosas and margaritas at sunset. The most we had stay at once was 9 - everyone slept comfortably. But the insane part is that all 9 showered one morning and we did not run out of hot water. That’s better than our own house!!! We did all the nostalgic things our kids remembered from previous trips - The Strand, Pleasure Pier, long days on the beach, had lots of seafood, thrift store shopping, a 4 hour fishing trip, rode the ferry to Boliver and people watched driving up and down Crystal Beach. We even extended our trip by a night because it was so great and we will definitely be looking to book again in the future. 5 stars and highly recommend!

Perfect!

The house was perfect and very well equipped with everything we needed. Even a snow cone maker, which the kids LOVED! The house is very close to the beach and that made it easy for the kids to run back and forth to get snacks or just chill inside for a bit. There was plenty of room for all 7 of us, to hangout inside on the rainy day. The owner was easy to get in touch with and kept us updated on the power outage (they were working on the power lines) I would definitely recommend this house to anyone! It was perfect!

Perfect location for a perfect vacation

Pictures do not do justice. The ocean view is amazing and very relaxing at night. Great location with grocery store a few miles away. Looking forward to staying here again

Beautiful Beach House!!!

Perfect beach house with amazing views! The house was cozy, very clean and organized…all you need are your clothes and food, everything else is provided. The owner responds promptly to any questions. The beach is only a few steps away and so beautiful! We will definitely be back!

Relaxing getaway

The home was clean, comfortable, and updated. We really felt at home and were able to play, cook and sleep well. The beach access was awesome. It wasn't a big deal to go back inside quick if you forgot something, which is a total change even from staying at a beachfront hotel. The beach itself was clean and uncrowded. This was our most relaxing trip to the beach ever, and we'd love to come back!

A great beach getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at this beach house - it was a fabulous place for a family celebration and the perfect getaway from being stuck mostly at home for months on end. There were great views of the ocean from the deck, and we spent many hours just sitting outside watching and listening to the waves. Beach access was easy. The house was the perfect size for our group and we were very comfortable during our stay. Everything was clean. The kitchen, which we used a lot, had all the dishes and utensils we needed to make our meals. The owners were great, friendly and communicative. I highly recommend staying here - we will definitely keep this place in mind for future Galveston vacations.

Summer Getaway

Great house. Great location. Perfect for a family with two small kids. Bed was comfy. AC blows cold. Awesome deck that is shaded in the evening. Love the American flag table on the deck. Definitely a selling point for me. Merica!

Like a bad date! Just keeps getting worse!

Upon arrival the first thing we noticed was a house directly between this house and beach that's not shown in pictures. You do have beach view on far right side of deck but the view overall view is not as shown. Once we unloaded and sat down everyone noticed that the house swayed and shook even though it wasn't super windy. This was a daily occurance. I would at least have a structural engineer look at it just for to cover myself for liability. Not pleasant but we decided to just laugh about it and enjoy our stay. When we went to use some dishes we noticed they weren't very clean. When we opened the dishwasher, it was full of dirty dishes. The ice maker inside of freezer was loose, it came off one of the attachment screws. We just set it back in place. Needs some tightening of the screw. (More on this later). I tried to turn on TV (not very user friendly with 3 remotes). After not working I noticed the remotes didn't have enough batteries. I added batteries. TV still wouldn't work. Contacted owner and was instructed to check plugs and wiring. It was the biggest ridiculous mess of wires. TV never worked properly and I had wasted enough time trying to get it to work. The smaller bath drain had something gross growing in it. All this being said we made the best of our annual time in Galveston and didn't focus on any of these issues. Now to the ownership. The last couple of days of our stay Tropical depression/hurricane Hanna was in the gulf. Winds started to pick up. I received a message from the owner saying. " We noticed you moved the security cameras and for me to set them back where they belong before we leave". We never touched them!!! I would guess the wind moved one. It was very accusing and rude. The topper was after we got home and the owners submitted a insurance claim that we broke there $1,200.00 ice maker. This really is not right. Its not even broke. It just needs the screw tightened. I can say the location to beach is good. Very short walk.

A great get away spot near the beach

This home had all the necessities for a quiet beach getaway. We were able to cook our meals normally, enjoy some time on the beach, all while relaxing away from home and the crowds. The best part was that the beach was just a short and safe walk away and they were not crowded AT ALL which was the goal. We would happily stay here again in the future!
