Infused with the romance of legendary seafaring, this end unit at The Shores Townhomes sits right on the beach, affording you three levels (two living floors above your own garage) of surf and sand fun.

From the moment you walk up the stairs from your private garage, you’ll feel the beckoning call of the beach. The living room affords stunning views of surf, sand and emerald water, enticing you out onto the Main Deck and the salt-kissed sea air. When you force yourself back indoors to explore, you’ll find comfy leather furniture, a 50-inch TV with a smart Blu Ray/DVD player and free WiFi.

The kitchen (or galley, as the crew of the clipper ship WindShore would insist) seats four at the granite breakfast bar and six at the dining table. It features new stainless appliances, including a glass-top range with warming feature, a refrigerator with ice maker, an ultra-quiet dishwasher, and a large microwave. And you’ll find enough cookware, dishes and glasses to easily accommodate every matey in your group.

WindShore has three bedrooms and three full baths as well as a cozy bunkie and comfortably sleeps 8 in real beds. (WindShore’s captain would be horrified at the idea of a sofa bed.)

The Captain’s Cabin, one floor up from the gathering spaces, boasts a luxurious king bed, a 40-inch TV with a smart Blu Ray/DVD player, and gorgeous views of the beach and Gulf from inside as well as from its own private deck. Be prepared to be pampered by the en suite bathroom with double sinks and custom oversized shower.

The First Mate’s Cabin, on the same level as the Captain’s quarters, features a grandly comfortable queen bed, a 32-inch TV with smart Blu Ray/DVD player, an entire wall of closets (bring all the clothes you want!), and an en suite bathroom with a shower over the tub.

The Second Mate’s Cabin is on the same floor as the gathering areas and features a luxurious king bed and a 40-inch TV with smart Blu Ray/DVD player. Its en suite bathroom, with a custom shower, can be also be accessed from the hallway.

The Forecastle sleeps two in cozy berths (what landlubbers call ‘bunks’). What junior sailor wouldn’t be thrilled?

The Main Deck, accessed from the living room, is the perfect place to sip coffee in the morning and cocktails at sunset, and to linger long after dark as the stars wink on overhead. There’s a table and chairs for outdoor dining, plus a little crow’s nest for two.

The Captain’s Deck, accessed from the Captain’s Cabin, is a narrower version of the Main Deck, and a wonderful spot for watching moonlight spill across the sea.

The Shores Townhomes resort encompasses 1,000 feet of beachfront (making it one of the longest private beaches on Panama City Beach), so it doesn’t get crowded or noisy. And if that’s not enough, there’s a swimming pool onsite, too!
