Gîte très propre, décoration raffinée et petits cadeaux à l'arrivée qui font plaisir (bonbons et gâteaux de la région plus une bouteille de jus de fruit au frais)Francis le propriétaire est très gentil, nous a conseillé des visites. Nous reviendrons.

Superb little gite in the heart of the Ariege
What a great find - as someone else said this is definitely one of the nicest places we've ever stayed. Recently refurbished, it's modern, tasteful, airy and very spacious, with everything you might need. The covered terrace and beautiful garden give you options for sitting outside in sun or shade as required. But also it's so nice to have two comfortable armchairs inside for those autumn nights. It's also a complete bargain as bedlinen, towels, heating & cleaning are all included, which appears to be less common in France. Well located in a small village with a bakery & small grocery store both within walking distance, convenient for the main N20 route through the valley. It's right on the street but we didn't find it noisy - although you might not want to sleep with the bedroom windows open. Also you need to leave your car on the parking in the square but we didn't have any problem with that. Francis is very helpful, responsive and attentive. We can recommend whole heartedly!

Nous avons été très bien accueilli par Mr Delpont, le logement est très bien situé et très propre. C'est une belle région avec des sentiers de randonnée adaptées sympa, des visites de grottes et musées à voir autour de tarascon et de bon produits régionaux.

Découverte de la vallée et des montagnes de l'Ariège depuis Mercus Garrabet
Ballades en montagne , visite des grottes ornées de Niaux , de Bedeilhac , du musée de la Préhistoire à Tarascon sur Ariège , du musée de Foix et guère plus loin du château de Montségur et de la rivière souterraine de la Bouiche : nous avons découvert plein de lieux ,d'histoires et de préhistoires à peu de distance du logement . Le logement est bien situé très propre et fonctionnel et resté suffisamment frais pendant notre séjour fin juillet pour avoir eu envie et la possibilité de prolonger notre séjour de quelques jours . Le jardin fleuri et très bien entretenu est un cadre agréable pour les repas en extérieur.

Très agréable
Appartement très agréable, très propre, très bien situé quand on aime la nature. Nous avons passé une semaine reposante . Les conseils de Francis sont précieux car il connaît bien le coin. Nous sommes allés un peu plus haut pour marcher en raquettes et le paysage était magnifique. Nous conseillons cet endroit.

Un séjour très agréable
Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la semaine dans ce gîte spacieux et très propre, avec une mention particulière pour le jardin plein de magnifiques fleurs où nous avons eu des moments reposants sur les transats bien confortables ! L'accueil du propriétaire à l'arrivée est sympathique et ses cadeaux de bienvenue sont une agréable surprise. Petit bémol : un peu de trafic côté rue principale (fenêtres de la chambre) Suggestion : une machine à laver peut-être dans le futur pour que le gîte soit vraiment parfait :) Globalement, nous sommes ravis de notre séjour à Mercus Garrabet où nous avons eu l'embarras du choix en randonnées à faire dans les environs !

Nous avons passé un séjour des plus agréable dans ce petit gîte parfait pour un couple, avec un jardin enchanteur et une petite terrasse ombragée des plus appréciable. La cuisine est parfaitement équipée pour profiter de la multitude de produits locaux de la région.
