It’s hard to believe that you are in the middle of Key West in this spacious well appointed spot! Large living room, spacious bedroom, outdoor courtyard, and a roof deck!!! Absolutely fabulous!
Fantastic rental! Easy check in process. The resort location is perfect to the wharf, bars, and restaurants. The unit was spotless and decorated with tropical vibes. Bed was comfortable, kitchen had everything you needed for your stay.. Ed is a great host.
the location is great. Ed was easy to communicate with on all items. Rooftop area is awesome for a private sunset watch. The 1 Bedroom unit had everything we could need for stay and the ability to walk everywhere is a big plus while also being in a quiet corner.
We love staying at the Galleon and this property did not let us down. The location is perfect!!! We loved the condo and the view from the rooftop deck.
Another great stay in a great, centrally located condo with great amenities. We will be back.

Resort, maybe a last resort!
We booked what was considered the penthouse suite on the property. For starters, the last flight of the stairs to this room cannot be reached via elevator, and the description did not note that, so if you have someone who is not able to go up stairs or carry their items up a flight of stairs do not book this room. Then this room advertised having a hot tub, it was an inflatable hot tub full of black mold, making it unusable. There were also screens missing from the screened room, and no working lights on the rooftop to safely enjoy it at night. Then on our third night we were woken up at 6:30 in the morning from someone in building management to notify us that the occupants below said water was coming down from their ceiling. Turns out the air conditioner unit is leaking so badly that the establishment has been just stuffing towels inside of it to absorb the water, so you are sleeping with wet, moldy towels. Instead of actually fixing the unit, the staff just stuffed more towels in the unit. Also the dishwasher doesn't even close, which we discovered only right before checking out to try and run everything to be cleaned. Basically this unit is being held up by bandaids. The amenities are minimal as well. 4 hangers in a unit that can sleep up to 6, and when we asked for more hangers from downstairs they tried to charge us money to rent them. Pool towels can told this isn't
This place is a wonderful place to stay while in key west. However we had some unfortunate issues with roof replacement, Ed, the owner, stepped in a took care of us and handled the situation. It was nothing of his doing or control but helped us through the situation. Highly recommend this place to everyone. This is the only reason I dropped the star rating as we are hoping to stay there again and I’m sure it will be a 5 star at that time. Thanks for your response Ed. Roy and Gina
Really can't say enough good things about our stay here. The amenities and location alone are reason enough to book this listing. Pool was excellent, private beach while small is excellent, local Tiki bar on site was excellent and has a really nice sitting area with chaise lounges overlooking the water. There's even a community grilling area with two of the cleanest grills I have ever seen. The only negatives that weren't really even negatives, the unit itself is a little dated but has been updated enough recently that you barely notice. Also, the wifi in the unit is virtually non-existent so just plan ahead for that. Definitely nothing worth subtracting a star. Would book again in a heartbeat.
The 360 degree view is amazing for coffee and wine! The rest of the place was nice if not a little dark since it's all very enclosed, but spacious and nice. As others have said the hot tub would not get warmer than 87, after the second day I just turned it back off, but there is a hot tub by the main pool that I preferred anyway. As a couple others have mentioned the main downfall is the king bed, it needs replacing. I slept fine, if not the most comfortable, but my husband who is more sensitive to older beds slept awful, it caused him a sore back and neck-aches. We are 50 tho so.... I would say I usually sleep on much better in our travels but have also slept on worse. However since sleep is important we will only be back when the bed is upgraded. Make sure you bring hangars, there were only 2 and there is nothing for cooking like no salt and pepper, oil, or anything. 😆 Enough negative, Ed is very quick to respond to inquiries. This location is amazing. The marina is super fun, saw lots of fish, great restaurants and very close to all the things to do in Key west including Duval St and Mallory Square.
The best location, rental, and host. Our family of 5 was very comfortable in this large space. It is clean, beautifully decorated, and everything seemed brand new (including all furniture and small appliances). The king bed was very comfortable and the resort supplied us with a crib for our son. The host was so nice to communicate with and the staff was all really nice at the resort. The view from the private roof deck was breathtaking. There was a private hot tub on one of the decks too! We’ve been coming to Key West for decades and this is our favorite spot! We hope to stay here again.
I love the Galleon. The location, the amenities, staff, cleanliness, …but in particular this beautiful unit and the prompt friendly responses by the owner whenever I have any question. See you again next year! 😎
The location is a 10! The complex is clean, safe and kept up well. The pullout beds (twin and full) are too old and thin and not suitable for an adult to sleep on. We were a party of three so the third person slept on the couch without pulling it out.
Also, the hot tub is a small inflatable one and we were not able to get the temp above 78 so it was not usable. There is a nice hot tub by the pool so we used that.
The only view from this unit is when you go to the crow’s nest; it’s an incredible view but there are no standard windows to look outside.
This property is nice and it would be a solid 5 star but nothing had been fixed from last year and there were a few large bugs/siders that I did not tell my wife about.
Great Place.... Exceeded our expectations. Lots of room and private rooftop deck and close to Everything! Definitely would come back and Highly Recommend! ❤️
5 stars across the board. Nice updates with the new tile. The Galleon's team is great and very knowledgeable (Zoey rocks!). Though we gave it 5 stars across the board...just a couple of things to be aware of:
1.) We brought our own pillows, so it wasn't an issue for us, but the bed pillows would have been extremely uncomfortable.
2.) This is no fault of Ed's, but this was our first time here and the roosters are EXTREMELY loud, so bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper or you'll be waking up at 3:30-4am every morning.
The private crow's next at the top is incredible. We spend a lot of time up there.
