Beautiful, quiet self contained private guest house located right on the shore of Lake Chapin, with large master bedroom overlooking the lake. Large bathroom. Extra sleeping space for 6 people. This home offers all the amenities of home. Lake Chapin is an all sports lake with good fishing, bring the boat and water toys or forget bringing anything and enjoy the lakeside firepit, Paddle boats and kayaks that are provided. The home is located close to amenities, but has the feel of up north seclusion. Updated 2021 New Granite Counter Tops, Stainless Stove, and sink. Brand New Carpet. The home is fully stocked with linens, towels, kitchenware, grill. Only 3.8 miles from Hidden Vineyard Wedding Barn. If you have a larger party you need to accommodate, please reach out, as we have larger accommodations, so your party can stay together. Close to Redbud Track & Trail, Andrews University, Notre Dame, Berrien County Youth Fair Grounds, LMC, SMC, lots of wineries, breweries, casinos. Local Fresh Fruit and Veggie Stands, Green Houses and so much more.

The house was very clean and had plenty of amenities. The owners are easy to communicate with and quick to respond. The property is very peaceful. We will be returning again this year, looking at spring for next time.

This was a lovely fall getaway for my husband and me! It is a very peaceful location and we enjoyed relaxing on the balcony with the view of the lake and the beautiful fall colors. The guest house was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. The hosts were readily available and responded quickly to any questions we had. Would definitely like to visit again!

This house is great! Very clean, spacious, and exactly as described on the listing. My husband and I stayed here after a Notre Dame football game and it was really easy to get to from South Bend. Only about a 30 minute drive. Wish we would have had more time to enjoy the house and the beautiful deck overlooking the river! William and Jenny were wonderful hosts and easy to get in contact with. She found my watch not long after we left and tried to contact me before we got too far. We were far enough that we didn’t want to turn around so she is mailing it to me. And I appreciated the to go coffee mugs they had available! It’s the little things! 😀 We would definitely stay here again.

Nice Rustic Getaway
Attached unit on the water near Lake Chapin provided for quiet anniversary recreation. Entry was easy and we were provided privacy. Rooms are spacious and clean. Back deck and waterfront are very relaxing. Jenny was responsive throughout our stay. Rainy day led us to the Niles-Buchanan YMCA. Dinner in nearby Bridgman brought us to the big lake. W/D was useful. Spices, coffee and some creamer provided. To-go coffee cups were a nice touch.

Great lakefront getaway
We really enjoyed our stay at this place and would stay again if in the area. We took advantage of the canoe and kayaks that were supplied and explored the beautiful lake. We also couldn't get enough of all the hummingbirds that visited the deck area. It is a very pet friendly place and spacious for our dog to stretch her legs and the grounds that lead to the lake are kept up very well!
