Nice villa, but spoilt by moaning neighbour and unfair extra charges
We spent 1 week at the villa in August 24. The villa was advertised as a 4 bedroom, although it is actually 3. The check in process was okay, and we were happy with the first impressionsIt is well appointed and has everything needed for a family. We have 4 young children and they enjoyed playing in the pool. However this was cut short as the neighbour quickly asked the kids to be quiet. This was a shock as they were simply playing. The next day the same happened again so my wife and myself decided to go and speak with the neighbour. We explained that we are a curtious family, but we are also on holiday. I gave the lady my number as said she could message me if needed. Later that evening we lit the BBQ and within 5 minutes I received a message asking me to move it as smoke was going into her garden. Over the next few days we had similar requests for the kids to be quiet, which was frustrating. The children were simply playing in the pool and not being loud. Unfortunately this spoilt the holiday as we were constantly worrying about the elderly neighbour complaining. The next issue came 2 days after we arrived home when I received a message saying I was being charged over £150 from the owner.The reason given was a broken lock and excessive use of towels/laundry. Firstly the door with the lock was already open when we arrived, and was not broken by us. Secondly on arrival we were told that all towels etc were there to be used. The charges were contested but still applied unfairly
