A cozy cottage near the lake Örsjön with a large terrace with roof, outdoor furniture and briquette/charcoal grill.
The cottage is equipped with free Wi-Fi, TV, satellite dish (Astra), glass hob, convection oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, wc and shower.
Intended for up to 4 people.
A private rowing boat is included in the rent.
We offer rental of both electric and petrol boat engines.
(Not allowed to bring your own boat engine)
It`s also possible to rent a wood-fired sauna and hot tub.
Both the sauna and the hot tub are right by the lake's edge and you have a wonderful view of Örsjön.

Einfach nur wunderschön!

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit! Das Ferienhäuschen ist mit allem Nötigen ausgestattet und sauber, der Vermieter super nett und unkompliziert und die Lage einfach der Hammer. Vielen Dank, Benny!

Wundervoll. Was für ein toller Gastgeber

Wir waren mit 2 Teenagern an diesem wundervollen Ort und haben unseren 1-wöchigen Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Warum? Weil die Lage in unmittelbarer Nähe zum See toll ist, weil die Umgebung so entschleunigend wirkt. Weil man stundenlang durch den wunderschönen Wald laufen und wandern kann. Aber hauptsächlich weil das Haus von Benny betreut wird, der offenbar ahnt, was man braucht, bevor man selbst darauf kommt. Die (für schwedische Verhältnisse zu fairen Preisen) angebotenen Extras wie Bootsmotor, Sauna usw. sind absolut zu empfehlen. Aus der holzbefeuerten Sauna auf den tollen See zu schauen, ist einfach fantastisch. Kurzum, kaum zu toppen, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Geplant war nur eine Woche Urlaub, geworden sind es drei(einhalb). Und das hat natürlich Gründe, z.B. gemütliche Hütte, in der nichts fehlt, wunderbare Landschaft, See und Ruderboot direkt vor der Tür, sehr zuvorkommender Vermieter und himmlische Ruhe. Toll.

Cosy & affordable

Very cosy and affordable cottage :) you have to keep in mind that you have to bring your own bed linen, toilet paper, kitchen paper, dish soap, food and do your own cleaning by the end of your stay (you can always pay extra to avoid doing it yourself). The kitchen is well equipped (oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, pots & pans, coffee machine w/ filters, toaster... but I would recommend bringing a kettle if you want to heat up water quickly and a couple extra kitchen towels (we were missing some during cleaning). Overall it's very peaceful and quiet outside the cabin, with a beautiful forest and lake to explore and Osby not too far away. There is a COOP 17mins away by car if you are missing some supplies so it is not the end of the world if you don't have everything when you arrive 😉.

If you love the nature of sweden...

...this is the right place for you. The house with its 45 square meters is cozy, clean and lovingly furnished. We fell in love instantly. Lake Örsjön is only 100 meters away. The sunset is a dream. The sauna and hot tub are right on the lake. Postcard feeling guaranteed. Both are highly recommended. We especially enjoyed the hot tub. Benny is very, very friendly and loving. He immediately took care of each of our concerns and made everything possible. We would love to come back.

Klein, maar fijn

Zeer prettig, klein, goed verzorgd vakantiehuis. Alles wat je nodig hebt voor een week vakantie is aanwezig. Voor de tieners: uitstekende WiFi. Locatie tussen de bomen op 100 meter van een meertje. Aanrijdroute vanuit dichtstbijzijnde dorpen naar het huisje is over onverharde wegen. Eigenaar zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Zeer de moeite waard om een vakantie door te brengen.

Traumhafter Sommerurlaub in Südschweden

Wir verbrachten eine traumhafte Woche bei strahlendem Wetter in Bennis Cottage am Örsjön-See. Der See lädt zum Baden und Bootfahrten ein. Die Einsamkeit des Ortes, die unberührte Natur und die Nähe zum See sind vor Allem für uns Berliner ein Garant für Erholung. Das kleine Cottage ist zweckmäßig und gemütlich eingerichtet und für zwei Personen völlig ausreichend. Benni ist ein sehr freundlicher und überaus hilfsbereiter Vermieter. Lediglich das Ruderboot ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Beim Baden direkt vom Steg muss man etwas auf große Felsen achten , die sich unter Wasser "verstecken"! Alles in Allem sehr zu empfehlen!!!!!

Most relaxing holiday ever with two children

The location is fantastic, only a few metres from the lake, and the owner of the cottage was very friendly, reliable and helpful. A wonderful experience for fishing enthusiasts. Idyllic, unspoilt nature. We have never been so relaxed. The children (3 and 6 years old) could play and cycle in the forest surrounding the cottage. We often went out on the lake together. Thank you very much for this wonderful holiday.

Mysig stuga nära vattnet

Vi är jättenöjda med stugan. Den är liten och mysig och fräsch. Nära till vatten och att hyra bastu och badtunna var ett sort plus. Benny tog väl hand som oss.

Cosy cottage near the lake. Nice, clean, tidy, amazing nature, lovely host Benny. Rowing boat trip to small lake islands is something that our kids have talked about for days. Highly recomended for family with kids! Leo P.

Ruhe Oase direkt am See

Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht ist hier genau richtig. Ferienhaus hat die richtige Größe für 4 Personen und liegt ganz ruhig gelegen im Wald ca 80 Meter bis zum See. Hier ist man für sich alleine. Wir haben uns 14 Tage sehr wohl gefühlt.

Idyllischer Urlaub

Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen. Das kleine Haus lag ganz ruhig am Wald und einem See, ideal für einen naturnahen Urlaub und zum Entschleunigen. Wir wurden auch von Benny sehr freundlich empfangen und er war immer erreichbar, wenn nötig. Wir können diese Unterkunft sehr gut weiter empfehlen.

We had a great time in lovely south of sweden. The cottage was a cozy place, nice and clean. The owner Benny is super friendly and helpful and he gaves us good advices to catch fish in the beautiful lake Örsjön. We definitely wanna come back!

Sehr entspannter Aufenthalt

Sehr schönes kleines Häuschen mitten im Wald, wie auf den Bildern zu sehen. Das Nachbarhäuschen ist ca. 50m entfernt. Die übernächsten Nachbarn vielleicht ca. 200 bis 300 m aber wegen dem Wald nicht einsehbar. Die Bilder entsprechen voll und ganz dem Eindruck vor Ort. Mitten im Wald hört man eigentlich nur die Vögel und das Rauschen im Wald. Sehr entspannend. Mitte/Ende Juni hatten wir auch kaum Mücken. Das Ufer mit den Booten ist ca. 150 m entfernt mit zwei, drei Holz-Stegen begehbar bzw. als Sonnenterasse direkt am Wasser nutzbar. Der See ist mit seinen vielen Inseln sehr abwechslungsreich und teilweise relativ flach. Das Wasser ist allerdings sehr dunkel (Ich kenne das nur aus torfigen Waldgebieten) so dass Untiefen z.b. Steine, die bis knapp unter die Wasseroberfläche reichen, kaum zu sehen sind. Beim Rudern ist das nicht so schlimm mal aufzusetzen, mit Außenborder hätte ich immer Angst Schraube und Boot zu beschädigen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind mit Osby und Älmhult 20 bzw. 25 min entfernt. Check in und Übergabe am Ende mit Benny, dem Vermieter, war problemlos und sehr angenehm. Bei schlechtem Wetter ist deutsches Fernsehen verfügbar und das W-Lan ist schnell genug um Filme/Serien zu via Internet zu schauen. Wenn ich irgendwas negatives finden möchte, dann nur, dass die Matratzen für mich etwas weich waren und (noch) kein Waschmaschine vorhanden ist. Ansonsten sind wir total entspannt von dem Aufenthalt in kalvshult zurück gekehrt. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Wonderful cottage - excellent location

Smal cottage at a wonderful location in the Swedish forrest next to a lake. We have visited the place for many years and we still enjoy coming back. The cottage is well equipped with all you need. Lake at walking distance and boat is included. We come back next year again.

Skønt sted og fin hytte

Ren og pæn lille hytte, havde alle bekvemmeligheder til 4 Pers. Smukt beliggende med den fineste udsigt til søen. Ro og fred. Benny meget venlig og hjælpsom. Vi kommer gerne igen!
