We had the best time! Super close to the ski resort which where we spent most of our time. But at the house was probably the most memorable the fireplace was a huge bonus would definitely recommend and re book in the future
Everything was worth a 5 star rating… from the correspondence with the host, to the cleanliness of the unit and convenient location!! We loved it so much we have already booked it for this same time next year!
Magical place to stay with stunning views and interior design!
Came to the mountains for a weekend trip. The place is equipped with everything you need. Morning views are the best. It's so calm you are surrounded by natures beat, wind, birds, deers. Family really liked the place.
This is our second year staying here, and we absolutely love it! It’s the coziest little Chalet and the pictures don’t do the views justice. It’s always exceptionally clean and the location is perfect 👌 especially for the Woolly Worm Festival!
This was a delightful property! It was beautifully decorated and had a well-equipped kitchen. We thoroughly enjoyed the deck during this lovely August weather!
I was pleasantly surprised when arriving. View is very pretty. House is modern with beautiful kitchen even has a gas stove. Few miles from resort which isn’t bad because away from the cars and noise. Summer is a busy time. Workers in restaurants are SO nice. This is a happy place for sure. I will stay here again.
Our second stay was again a pleasure. Condo has everything that you need for several adults. The view is spectacular to relax with a morning cup of coffee.
Don't forget to try breakfast at Fred's Backside Deli as it is good.
Awesome spot, close to Beech mountain, great view and nicely stocked with necessities. Enjoyed 2 days of skiing at Beech (2 min drive). Had deer in the front yard every night-pretty cool. Unit was clean, cool fireplace and kids loved the chic updated cabin vibe. May have to try out a summer trip here for mountain biking, hiking and cool mountain air.
It was very important to us that the venue had great unobstructed Mountain Views and a well appointed kitchen. Each deck had a wonderful
view, the deck off the living room and the deck off each bedroom. The newly renovated kitchen was really well done.
We loved our stay in Beech Mountain. This is our 3rd year vacationing in the area, and our first time staying on the mountain. This is quiet and lovely. The home is well equipped and comfortable and perfect for our family of four. We love the convenience to dining and conveniences, but the privacy of the area. We enjoyed the Beech Mountain club amenities. We’ll be back!
We stayed the weekend to watch the big rivalry football game btwn GEORGIA SOUTHERN VS APP STATE. Our stay was great! The view is incredible. Kitchen is stocked well! It was cold so the fireplace warmed us up nicely. The morning visits from the deer was an added bonus. The little city nearby was precious with Christmas lights. Brick Oven pizza was very good.
All processes were smooth and check in was easy. Property managers were very accessible and helpful. The property itself is exactly as it is listed and was a very comfortable and clean location. The views are beautiful and the layout is great. The unit is around 1 mile from Beech Mountain Resort and about 2 miles from town, so within 10 minutes there is access to skiing and restaurants. We were fortunate to arrive the day after it snowed, so minus the drive being a little difficult, we had a great stay.
The place is awesome. I do wish they had a few more dish towels (1) and garbage bags. (2). The fireplace didn’t work and neither did the ice maker. I only reported the fireplace because they didn’t seem to think anyone would come out. We didn’t need it but could have enjoyed it in the morning when it was chilly.
We stayed to visit the Land of Oz. The view off the back deck is remarkable! The home is very clean, and the kitchen is well appointed. The bathrooms felt new, and the water pressure was excellent in the shower.
The living room sofa is, however, appallingly uncomfortable, and the stairs would be very difficult for anyone with the slightest mobility issue to maneuver. Overall, for our family, the chalet was a good choice, and we would visit again.
**The bear proof garbage cans for Unit 13 do not have a number on them, so it was a bit difficult to determine which unit was ours when we first arrived. The number on the actual chalet is difficult to see from the road.***
This cozy townhome was perfect for our weekend at Beech Mountain. It was a close (less than 5 min) drive to the mountain, easy to access, and had everything we needed to cook all of our meals. The view is absolutely incredible and it was nice to just curl up by the fireplace and take in the view. I have reduced my rating by 1 star because the interior stairs of this home are quite steep. The height of the risers were higher than your average staircase and although there is a handrail, it is also higher than normal taking more effort to reach for. As a mobile young adult, I personally slipped and fell down the stairs our first morning at the property and although I did not sustain any major injuries, it should be something future tenants are aware of when booking this property.
Upon arriving at Beech Mountain, our townhouse was very easy to find. The townhouse is small but adequate. There are two bedrooms on the ground level with two full baths. The two king size beds are very comfortable. You have to walk up steep inside steps to get to the living area or enter the second story from outside stairs that connect to a deck. This area is spacious for the size of the townhouse with a full kitchen and den area. All of the appliances are updated. The view from the back side deck is awesome. There is a half bath on the living area. My only disappointment was that the listed bedroom in the loft area was an air mattress. This was not listed as such when we researched the place. To make matters worse, it was deflated when we arrived and we had to inflate. My son was trying to sleep on it and the mattress kept losing air during the night and had to be reinflated to be able to sleep. We still had a nice weekend. My only recommendation is to put a real bed in the loft so that no one else has to experience this.
