The photos do not do this house justice. It is very nice and very spacious. Robert was so helpful in answering our questions prior to arrival and in allowing us a late check out since our departure was in the afternoon. Robert and Rosey were very good to work with and even had chips and salsa for us on our arrival. We had family in the area, so didn’t actually do any of the driving but it seemed we were very close to everything. We were there for Christmas and there was plenty of space of us to cook, serve and eat a traditional dinner for the 6 of us and more than you would expect as far as dishes, cookware, and spices. It was very cold while we were there so we didn’t try out the hot tub but the gas logs were a huge plus to keep us warm and Rosey was so sweet to swing by and put out extra comforters. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.
Great place with plenty of rooms and all the necessary amenities. Perfect location in Central Austin made it easy to get anywhere in just a few minutes. Highly recommend.
This was a great place to stay in Austin. It is convenient to restaurants and downtown sights. The neighborhood is quiet and very walkable. The house itself was very clean and spacious with four bedrooms, two full baths and two living spaces. The upstairs master bedroom is especially nice. We would definitely stay here again.
Good morning Robert.
My family members thoroughly enjoyed their stay ! The house was perfect for our get together. Your house is spacious, charming and in a perfect location. Thank you for Your hospitality.
Happy New Year!

Our family convened for our daughter’s wedding in late September. The wedding originally was scheduled for a north campus location hence we sought out this house. Plans went awry and wedding venue moved to south Austin. But this house was too wonderful to pass up. We had plenty of street parking and two outside sites to enjoy an evening wine. The rooms and furnishings of the house were better than what the listing pictures showed. We had ample room for our family of six adults. The kitchen was well stocked. Robert was a delight to deal with.
We had a wonderful stay at Robert's house. He was quick to respond to questions. We were gathering as a family from across the country and hadn't been together in over 3 years. We cooked Thanksgiving dinner together in an extremely well stocked and roomy kitchen. There was space for everyone to stretch out with 2 living spaces. We enjoyed walking to cafes and shops and the busline is not far from the house to get downtown. If we end up as a group again in Austin (or with my friends), I will definitely be looking at this property, it was great! Thank you Robert!
Our family of 6 thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Robert's house. It was spacious with plenty of room for all of us with its two living areas. The house is equipped with everything a visitor could possibly need. We enjoyed exploring the historic Hyde Park neighborhood, especially coffee at Quacks. It was very hot for September while we were in Austin, but we were cool at Roberts with the central A/C and best of all, ceiling fans in every room. We would choose to stay at Robert's if we're ever in AUstin again, preferably during the time when the hot tub is available!

I was born in Swansea, Wales, schooled in Bristol, England and studied Architecture at the University of Wales in Cardiff before moving to Austin in 1985. After purchasing the house I renovated the original Sear's Craftsman Bungalow and added a 2 story addition for a growing family. After raising my 2 kids in the house I started to rent the house short term. I enjoy meeting new people and especially enjoy it when guests both appreciate the house and have a wonderful stay. I have a daughter in the Fashion business in New York and a son in Austin studying Welding and building cars.
