Mari Sol is a lovely relaxing villa with a private pool, on a quiet estate in Ocean City and is just 20 yards from the cliff edge and has stunning sea views. The property is a modern high quality design and has been finished to a high standard and provides everything needed for the perfect holiday in Barbados.

All three bedrooms are air-conditioned, and have en suite bath rooms. The master suite consists of a large Queen size bed, and Mahogany quality bedroom furniture. This bedroom has bi-folding doors that open back to bring in the super sea view and onto a balcony..

All the bedrooms have 32 inch Samsung Smart TV's connected to the internet and prepared for internet TV .You will also have access to network Lacie 4TB media drive that has over 300 films, TV series and music to suite most tastes.

The lounge and Kitchen is open plan and has sea views. Again there bi-folding doors that open back to take maximum enjoyment from the stunning sea views. The Kitchen is fully equipped and contains all you need to prepare a banquet, or a simple refreshment.

The lounge living area is, complete with a 42 inch Samsung SMART TV, NetFlix, telephone (free calls to local land lines and mobiles), and high-speed internet WiFi throughout the villa.

The lounge leads out onto a balcony that leads to the pool and Garden, The balcony sitting area always has gently refreshing sea breezes - just perfect for those lazy days and nights. The balcony area can be set up for al-fresco dining, overlooking the private pool , garden and enjoys stunning sea views. There is also a private drive offering secure parking.

Ocean City is a beautiful, peaceful location, far away from the crowds.

Guests are provided with an island guide and maps, as well as our own personal recommendations gathered from our many visits over the years. In addition, our highly praised friendly staff who help to manage and maintain the villa, will do all they can to make your stay in Barbados enjoyable and restful. Our property manager will discuss any requirements you may have and will always be on hand to help with any queries or recommendations you may need. She can even arrange your very own private Bajan chef to come to the villa. Any additional services you may wish to use will be charged locally.

Amazing views
On a very hot island ocean breezes is a must and located on top of a cliff that’s exactly what we had so that we did not have to run air conditioning during the day. Beautiful views, spacious house and a fantastic pool to keep us comfortable for six weeks. A vehicle is definitely a must for this location and well worth it. Located in a quiet neighbourhood to relax and enjoy the sound of crashing waves below. Perfect.

Excellent villa
It is a beautiful location with the breeze from the sea offsetting the heat nicely. The pool was cold but also welcome against the heat of the day. A car is a must if you want to see the rest of the island and visit the many beaches on the west coast. We had a happy couple of weeks here and would highly recommend it.

We stayed in this property for 10days and we had a fabulous stay. The view is absolutely spectacular and even though the property is listed as sleeping 6 the hosts were more than happy for our grown son to join us also who had been a later addition to our booking. Cecily was very accommodating and had made up an extra bed for him. We would definitely stay here again. A beautiful spacious property with added benefits of the view and private pool.

Loved it.
The house is lovely. It is exactly as listed in VRBO. A car would be an asset but the grocery store was walking distance for an able adult. The pool is great. We were surprised to spot whales in the distance on a couple of occasions. The area is very quiet and safe. Peter and Linda are great hosts. It was a very enjoyable holiday.

Our Barbados Vacation
Beautiful, well furnished apartment located on the sea front. The breeze was continuous and amazing. Bedrooms were spacious with adequate cupboards and each had their own toilet and bath. Peter was pleasant to deal with and addressed our concerns promptly. A car is definitely a necessity, but property is minutes away from the airport and gas stations with convenience stores and deli. Beaches, malls, groceries, Oistins, Accra are less than 30 minutes away. We did have some issues with the apartment though: internet connection was unstable at times, shower heads didn't give comfortable showers, no large pots to cook meals, should have shower curtains to minimize wetting of bathroom, should be able to lock external gates. We had a wonderful stay at this property and would definitely recommend it.

Absolutely lovely
We had a girls week here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view is spectacular and the house has everything you need. I would also recommend renting a car as it is in a lovely quiet neighborhood but far from restaurants and the beach

Superb location and amazing views
We enjoyed our stay at this villa, it was so convenient to get to from the airport, approx. 10 min drive. The villa has everything you need, as a family we made use of the oven, dishwasher and washing machine. A little TLC is required to get the villa looking fantastic again. The owners were easy to contact and responded quickly. We happened to be there through storm Dorian and Linda and Peter were very supportive. We had an issue with the pool but this was resolved upon our return. Overall, I would recommend this villa. The folding doors allow you to lie in bed looking out over the ocean, You cannot do that in Huddersfield!

A Slice of Heaven
From the initial enquiry, right throughout our stay, the communication was on point. We were greeted promptly by Cecily, who showed us round. The property was very comfortable for our group (2 adults and 2 children). It is very well equipped with everything you will need to have an enjoyable holiday. And it's the little extras that really help, like providing beach towels and folding chairs that you can take to the beach. Whether you are exploring the island or staying in (we did both), you will not be disappointed. There were a couple of minor issues, but the communication was excellent and these were resolved very quickly. The location is breathtaking and the breeze off the Atlantic is much appreciated on the balcony and around the pool. I would not hesitate to recommend this property and I hope to return in the future.

Little piece of paradise
This home is beautiful the view is amazing. The best part of all are the hosts. They treated us and our children like family. Our vacation was one to remember and we definitely be returning. Simply the best!!
This is our 4th time on the island and I only rent homes I do not care for the hotel thing and by far so one is my favorite Peter and Linda were great hosts the place is fairly new very well put together the views are amazing to wake up to and watch the sun sets the neighborhood is great everyone is very nice the pool is perfect size too the place is great for adults and family with kids, Peter and Linda thank you again for the hospitality can't wait to come back..

Paradise
We have been coming to Barbados for over 33 years and have always stayed in a villa. Mari Sol has the most perfect location you could ask for in Barbados. The view is outstanding, along with the cooling breeze of the east coast. The Villa has everything you need for your holiday: perfectly presented with 3 bedrooms which are all ensuite and air conditioning . With the Atlantic breeze we only ever needed to use the air conditioning in the bedroom to help us have a purfect sleep in the luxurious bedroom. Doors to the living area and master bedroom both open out to integrate the outdoors which enhances your experience. It does say a car is essential however a taxi to the supermarket is only $15 and to hire a taxi for the day to tour the island is only $200! If you want to take advantage of the sun and the villa then it is cheaper not to hire a car! We calculated the over 2 weeks we lost £300 hiring a car. We are booking for next year and would recommend this beautiful villa to anyone. We can't wait to return to paradise. Lynne and Walter Cumbria, UK

Delightful Caribbean living away from the crowds
We spent 10 days at this most enjoyable home. The household features were as described in the overview and better. This is a newly completed property with the best of quality and attention given to all details. Lots of open space with good bedroom separation to provide privacy if required. The ocean views are great and the pool and surrounding outdoor environment was very pleasant. The local staff was both friendly and helpful. Would certainly recommend this property to anyone who wants to get away from the hubbub of the busy tourist scene.

Excellent Vacation Villa.
"Mari Sol" is an excellent Villa with breathtaking view of the Atlantic Ocean. The layout of the villa is really good. Amenities and furnishings are excellent. We had a really good time. The early morning breeze at sunrise is absolutely fantastic. All in all a very good villa for a very relaxing and peaceful vacation. Nana Family.

Lin and I meet almost 40 years ago and have been married for 37 Years

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with location in the summer of 2011 and bought the plot. We designed the property originally as a 4400 square feet individual luxury villa, but decided to make the ground floor a separate self contained 3 bed luxury Villa so that family,friends and paying guests can enjoy the property.
We submitted the plans for approval in March 2012 and by November we had the planning consent to build.
We managed to get a great local building contractor who built this impressive property to our specification and are delighted with the results

What makes this property unique

The property has stunning sea views from almost every window.It is in a quiet location and being close to the sea has the benefit of cooling sea breezes
