2 problemsfirst- no internet so had to go other places to use computer, and TV in living room would not work because no internet.second-pocket door in master bedroom would no close. This place was advertise as having internet.
It was the best size for us and so beautifully done. The house had ever we needed to cook and clean while there. Not many steps so very easy in and out. Can’t say enough good about it
property was okay. heat was not working properly. manager was in atlanta and tried to handle the problem from her computer. finally called in an hvac technician the next day while we were out. the tech said it was a bad thermostat and changed that out, but we still couldn’t get heat when we got home Sunday evening. we had extra blankets, so did not want to move out as the manager wanted. each day got warmer, so we were okay and got to host thanksgiving dinner for our family as planned. we will not choose to stay somewhere again that doesn’t have an in town property manager.
This is THE cleanest rental I have ever stayed in, and there is an unbelievable amount of attention paid to detail in this home. For instance, as someone who loves ice, the ice in the ice maker appeared to be a brand new batch - not frostbitten and of questionable date like I’ve seen in other homes’ freezers. They also had plenty of silverware and even cookware, which is rare to find well-stocked in a rental home.
While I often worry when taking my 2-year-old to any house other than our own, about what he might get into or break, there weren’t a lot of knick knacks for him to bother with. That was greatly appreciated!
The whole house was very comfortable and spacious; the beds were the only downside. The master bedroom mattress is extremely creaky, without much cushion to separate us from the innersprings. I would have gladly slept in one of the other bedrooms, but I prefer a firm sleeping surface, and the 2 add’l bedrooms had very plush mattress toppers. It would have been nice to see a mix of mattress types, so that one could choose the best surface for oneself.
The neighborhood was very nice, quiet, and family friendly. We were super close to our family member’s home; he is a local in PSJ. We would definitely consider staying here again, although it would be good to see at least 1 mattress changed so that sleep wasn’t so uncomfortable. But overall, for most people, who are probably less picky about sleep surfaces, this is a 10/10 place!
Lovely, roomy home with a nice screened room where we could enjoy morning coffee. Very nice over-sized, walk-in shower in master bedroom. Location is perfect for enjoying local shops and restaurants. This home is definitely on our radar for next year’s visit!
This house was fantastic! In the heart of Port Saint Joe. It was so welcoming and for a family it’s perfect! You have everything you need.
The house was so clean, bigger than the pictures show and we had the best time.
I would recommend this home if you are looking for down time but close to shops and restaurants.
We can’t wait to come back and visit family. We will be back!
This amazing home is central to everything you could ever want in a beach vacation home. Walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants…and easy drives to the sands. Paqq
Home has comfortable beds and fresh clean towels, Big showers, and well stocked kitchen.
The host is very responsive. We didn’t have any problems during our stay.
The house was great! Had everything we needed and the location was perfect. We kept the boat at the marina and the water was a short walk down the road. Easy to walk to everything. We used the boat to go to the beach so we had no issues. We will stay here again.
This is great location most restaurants in walking distance ,beaches 10 min drive pretty much in the heart of Port St.Joe.The house is beautiful and well kept up.I stay at alot VRBO's this one ranks a 10 out of 10 for me .Only problem was next door neighbors dog woke me up both morning I stayed therebut that is out of owners control.
We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful place. The owner was very responsive to any questions and the stay was without concerns. We enjoyed the quiet town of Port St Joe. We would recommend this home to others.
This is our second stay at this property. Very clean property with everything we needed. The area is quiet and it is walking distance to the shops in town. Our favorite restaurant is the KrazyFish. Very nice area away from Disney. A big plus for us. We had a great time.
Location, property and host could not have been better! Highly recommend. Property is spacious and well stocked. Stay here! You will not be disappointed!
This is our second visit to this beautiful home. It’s within walking distance to the bay and downtown port St Joe. We look forward to visiting next year!
The property was good, clean, neat and roomy. Not sure why but ran out of hot water in a hurry.
My only problem was with the use of the TV. I know if all I wanted was a TV I could have stayed at home.
But this was UGA's first game of the season and there was no way I could find to watch it. There were no directions on how to use the media.
All you could watch was old movies and cartoons, or try and find a bar that had seats available. LOL
House was very clean and well kept when we arrived. In a perfect location and short drive to all the restaurants Port St Joe has the offer and the beach. Donna was so easy to communicate with and answered any question almost instantly. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!
We love visiting the Forgotten Coast but as it’s become less and less forgotten, it can be difficult to find a really great place to stay that everyone (2 adults, a teen boy, and a under 10 girl) loves but this home fit the bill! It’s laid out so well and is spacious without feeling oversized. Close to everything, the location is perfect and the parking was ample. The decor is simple and tasteful and very comfortable. The beds were comfy, the towels fluffy, and the master shower is huge!! The owners were very responsive when a simple issue arose and had it resolved almost immediately. We will definitely stay again! ❤️
We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at the Quaint Cottage. We’ve rented numerous properties through VRBO, and this one is our favorite. The cottage is spacious and comfortable, and it’s close to everything. You won’t be disappointed.
The house is beautiful and clean. Everything we needed was there or very close by. The neighborhood was very quiet. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
Beautiful home, owners thought of a lot of little things that made for a wonderful stay. Only complaint would be the king bed was very uncomfortable. Very stiff mattress. Overall though, we enjoyed our stay!

What makes this property unique
Port St. Joe truly is a "small town with a big heart," the nickname that its residents have adopted. Formerly a bustling port along North Florida’s Emerald Coast, Port St. Joe now welcomes visitors looking for a restful respite. Port St. Joe's postcard-perfect surroundings invite lounging on a soft, white-sand dune beach, snorkeling in the Gulf of Mexico, fishing and dining at a rustic fish shack. Also available in Port St. Joe: an educational, even inspirational, glimpse of some of the state’s earliest history. A compact, easily walkable downtown of gift and antique shops, bistros, vest-pocket parks, wide greenways, and an inviting waterfront marina. And don't forget some of the nation's most luscious seafood.
