About this property

This private oceanfront villa is set in lush garden of palms, orchids and many native plants that attract many local birds. From the large covered porch you gaze upon the sandy beach that leads to a private pier where you can sit on the lounger and enjoy the sunsets.

Located at legendary Small Wall dive site. Just walk out the back door to the turquoise Caribbean Sea and be amazed by the coral encrusted anchor located right behind the villa at only 18-20 feet deep. When you come back to the house you can enjoy the outside shower and jacuzzi while enjoying the view of the Caribbean Sea.

The villa comfortably sleeps four but can accommodate six with queen size pull out couch in a/c living room. The master bedroom with a/c has a king size bed and private bathroom. The second bedroom with a/c has either two twin beds or a king size bed and brand new private bathroom.

Only five minutes drive to the center of town. Very private but conveniently located walking distance to grocery store, gym, and restaurants in the Hato area.

Paradise

The property was shaded and quaint. Just enough space. The beds were very comfortable. AC in both rooms. Our only issue was the landlord was there and we didn’t know until she popped her head around the corner. She had said she would not come while we were home. House reef was amazing. Octopus on way back from night dive was a real treat.

Anniversary Vacation

Our week in Bonaire staying at this house was wonderful. Karen greeted us and made us feel comfortable and welcomed! House was absolutely perfect! The view was gorgeous and never disappointed with the sunsets. Easy 5 min drive into town. Scuba diving off pier made our vacation! We will definitely be coming back to this special house on Bonaire!

An ocean front gem

A wonderful property with a small private beach and an amazing view. Karin, the propert manager is a great host and was extremely helpful. The villa had everything that we needed and the location is close to everything. The pier made getting in the water a breeze, and the snorkelling right in front of the villa is excellent.

Paradise Found

What a great property on an amazing dive site. The house has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Fully stocked kitchen nothing missing. From the patio to the water is where you will spend most of your time. The lush landscape to the amazing sandy beach front. The pier and ladder were perfect for easy water entry. Both Karin and Jerome were perfect from check in to check out.

After having to postpone our trip due to the arrival of COVID, we were thrilled to be able to stay at Jerome's beautiful house. Top locatie met privé strand

De woning is praktisch en compleet ingericht en voorzien van alles wat nodig is voor een heerlijk verblijf. Het eigen strandje is ruim en een geweldige plek met voldoende zon en schaduwplekken van palmen. De snorkel en duiklocatie voor het strand en pier is geweldig geschikt daarvoor. Veel mooie tropische vissen gezien. Jerome Spruit is zeer gastvrij en wil het je echt naar de zin maken. Top verblijf gehad.

Auf den ersten Blick, bzw. im Internet sieht die Unterkunft sehr schön aus. Vor Ort hat sich herausgestellt, dass viele Details unschön sind und ganz dringend verbessert werden sollten. Zum Beispiel der Strandkorb auf dem Steg ist sehr abgenutzt und nicht voll funktionsfähig. Beim Whirlpool hat sich die Temperatur nicht regeln lassen (war zu warm und konnte somit überhaupt nicht genutzt werden). Der Gasgrill ist in einem sehr schlechten Zustand (fällt fast um). Die Solarleuchten im Garten sind defekt. Generell macht die Anlage einen ungepflegten Eindruck. Die Lage ist sehr schön.

Schönes Haus in nahezu perfekter Lage

Das Oceanfront Haus ist sehr sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Betten sind bequem, die Klimaanlagen leise und zuverlässig. Größtes Plus ist die direkte Oceanfront Lage mit eigenem Steg. Tauchgänge oder Schnorcheln direkt von der eigenen Leiter an einem wirklich sehr schönen Riff waren für uns traumhaft, auch wenn Bonaire natürlich viele weitere interessante Tauchplätze hat. Einzige kleine Kritikpunkte unsererseits: Ab und zu hört man aus dem Schlafzimmer die hinter dem Haus verlaufende Straße,- allerdings ist diese vor allem nachts kaum befahren. Ferner sollte die Liegemöglichkeit (Daybed / Muschel) auf dem Steg beizeiten erneuert werden. Diese ist (vermutlich bedingt durch das Klima) langsam aber sicher am Ende der Nutzungsdauer. Dies sind jedoch nur Kleinigkeiten, prinzipiell würden wir sofort wieder das Haus buchen, Preis/Leistung ist unseres Erachtens im Vergleich zu anderen Objekten absolut stimmig wenn man Wert auf eigenen Meerzugang legt.

Visiting paradise

The house is just stunning: the private sandy beach, the view on the ocean, sunsets, diving right from the pier, everything available to take care of dive gear including outdoor shower, the whirlpool, having dinner on the terrace while hermit crabs passing by, stunning and exceptional garden and plants, perfect equipt kitchen, rainforest showers,... the list is not ending. Just outstanding and lovely !! Plus Jerome as host give you before and during the trip so many hints and tips to make the best out of your vacation! Only 5 stars possible but i would love to give more. Highly and totally recommanded to stay here !!!grateful that we got the chance to stay here and hope to come back soon.

Wij hebben een fantastische vakantie gehad in deze bungalow. Alles was goed verzorgd en de verhuurder reageerde snel als er vragen of problemen waren. De tuin met prive strand was schitterend aan zee en de steiger was voor duiken ideaal en snorkelen.

Felt right at home in paradise! Perfect!! Clean,neat, beautiful and all we could have wanted! Tropical paradise all to ourselves. The gardens were fantastic. The diving was perfect and easy with the great site and amenities. Made reservations to return to the same place but longer!!

Sisters' Seaside Week

My sister and I REALLY enjoyed our stay at this villa. The property was exactly as described and was pristine when we checked in. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need. I really enjoyed the outside patio and spent a great deal of time just snorkeling off the dock. The garden was beautiful and attracted all sorts of birds. Jerome was very responsive and provided clear and timely instructions. I would definitely go back!

Oceanfront Dream is Accuarate

The house is perfectly set up for two diving couples. It has all the comforts of home, but is set in a lush tropical garden with steps leading to a small beach and a pier with a ladder for easy access to the water. We ate breakfast and lunch on the very large covered patio listening to waves and feeding the iguanas. We fixed dinner on the propane grill before heading down to the water for a night dive. Who knew that a hot tub after a night dive could be so wonderful, even in July! Jerome, the owner, is very easy to deal with. We had to reschedule, because of COVID, but he worked with us to find a time for our visit. We were sad to leave and writing this review makes me want to return ASAP.

Home with pier

Lovely stay in a home with a tropical garden which is unique to Bonaire. One could say a ‘hidden gem’ And the largest swimming pool in the world ‘the ocean’ in front of the house. Thanks Jerome for making our stay at your home an unforgettable.

Sehr privat mit eigenem Meerzugang

Wir waren zu zweit im Haus und haben uns sehr über die private Atmosphäre gefreut. Haus und Garten (viel Grün) sind von den Nachbargrundstücken fast uneinsehbar, das ist eher selten auf Bonaire. Das Riff ist direkt vom eigenen Steg betauchbar und zeigte uns fast alles, was Bonaire unter Wasser zu bieten hat. Wer nicht fahren mag, kann hier viele Tauchgänge machen und sieht immer Neues. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet, Geschirr und Besteck gibt es reichlich und der Internetzugang ist stabil. Der Vermieter (Jerome) war freundlich und hilfsbereit, um einen defekten Wasserhahn hat er sich schnell gekümmert. Der einzige Makel waren die Mücken (wir waren im September da). Hier ist dringend Abwehrspray zu empfehlen. Das Haus selbst kann man gut gegen Mücken abdichten, es gibt fast überall Fliegengitter. Ein elektrischer Insektenvernichter gegen die Mücken, die es trotzdem ins Haus schaffen, ist tatsächlich das einzige, was fehlte. Zum Haus gehören noch zwei Fahrräder und ein Kajak für 2 Personen. Für uns war es genau das Richtige.

Dieses Objekt ist auf Bonaire einzigartig. Uns hat besonders der Hanggarten mit dem Blick herunter aufs Meer gefallen. Tolles Schwimmen und Tauchen direkt vom Steg. Ruhige Lage, die direkt hinter dem Haus verlaufende Straße hört man zwar ein wenig, hat uns aber nicht gestört. Wir kommen nächstes Jahr wieder

This property is a gem. Absolute privacy, safety and comfort in a very convenient location. House and property are very clean and well maintained and stocked with all necessitates.
