The airstream was immaculate and my standards are high because I clean rentals professionally. Enchanting grounds. More rustic than glamping but I enjoyed the outside bathrooms. But sure to connect with host if there’s no hot water. Having read reviews helped prepare me for the experience. Was better than I expected.
If you want Topanga, this spot is ideal, both in location and in its situation in a secluded, peaceful clearing, surrounded by trees. The airstream was super clean, well-stocked with towels etc. and the bed and bedding were comfortable.--in fact I loved the sheets! However, It is an airstream, and it has its oddities. I found a lot to adjust to that are par for an airstream: windows hard to open, very little water pressure, and a door that gave me grief on a daily basis to open from outside and inside. The hosts were reachable, but I might suggest meeting the guests upon arrival to acquaint them with the place. Don't arrive at night in the dark on your own and try to figure it all out unless you are an airstream veteran.
We spent an amazing trip there. The airstream is comfortable and very functional. The bathroom is like in a dream and your are only disturb by any squirrels during your shower. The restroom are directly go out from a western movie and you seems waiting to take the stagecoach when you’ll go out.
The hosts are disponible and answer very fast.
Anyway do not hesitate to stop your way there during your Californian trip!!
I'm typically not short for words, however, I do feel that I write would only take away. You need to experience this property for yourself. In short, the environment was magic. The seclusion, the whimsy, the accommodations were so memorable. We can hardly wait to visit again. The owner was receptive to our inquiries and responded promptly and gracefully. Three cheers for this hidden away gem!

Disliked: Listing accuracy
Photos are a little misleading, overall was ok.
I enjoyed the experience overall. But the bathtub was unusable (and I wanted to use that) and the tipi was in bad dirty state. My son was looking forward to that part.
The water pressure in the shower was super low, it has to be a 5 min shower as the amount of water you use is limited and there are lots of things to remember to do for a general living experience in an old airstream, which was to be expected, but I guess i underestimated it all.
Everything in the airstream was clean, except the bed sheets felt used and the bed was half made. Even though it was clean, it still felt like there was a film over everything. I cleaned a bit with the cleaning supplies and it still felt like a film was there, I think it’s just the age of everything.
None of this would be a problem if it was priced correctly. Because I would feel like “I got what I paid for”, but in this instance, it definitely felt overpriced for what you get and have to deal with. Feels like it should be in the 80-100 range, max. I chose this over other nice clean rooms in the area because of the experience but the price wasn’t worth it. Just keeping it real. I enjoyed the land, although people were there during the week so it felt kind awkward. Topanga is a special place though.
I was not familiar with Topanga before booking this property. I wanted to be close to nature and near Malibu and came across this Air Stream Trailer. It did NOT disappoint. It was so clean, comfortable, and quiet. The host was very responsive and welcoming to any queries that came about. This is the perfect distance to Malibu with scenic drives and has so much to offer in Topanga itself. What a hidden gem. I highly recommend, you will not be disappointed!!! Definitely download an offline version of Google maps before hand to find the location since service is minimal in random pockets. Once you find it, there is great WiFi if needed.
If you're lucky enough to spend time in Topanga, this is a lovely set up! The property is full of amazing smells and sights, is quiet, and only 10 minutes from the ocean and two wonderful hiking meccas.. you won't want to leave! I know I didn't. The owners are lovely and very accommodating and the airstream itself is very homey. I have no experience with tiny house living or camper life, but adapted quickly and truly enjoyed my almost 3-month stay there. There is much space and beauty right outside the door. Lots of delicious food nearby, and surprisingly close to much of LA County (both the PCH and101 are less than 15 mins away during normal traffic). I can't wait to visit again!
