This condo also comes complete with one set of complimentary beach service and fantastic shared amenities that include covered and outdoor pools, a hot tub, a lazy river, children's play pools, a gym, and a donut/coffee shop.

This 1,739-square-foot condo is part of Splash Resort, a Gulf-front property that's ideal for beach-going families. You'll be just a few steps from the white sand beach, on-site amenities, and great food and drink at the Riptide Snack Bar. If you're hoping to get out and explore, Pier Park offers 124 stores, wonderful restaurants, and movie theaters three miles southeast. You'll also be three miles northwest of Gulf World and eight miles southeast of Rosemary Beach on the shores of Scenic 30A.

Nice location. The kids enjoyed the pools. Could have been cleaner. We found a dirty plate in a room. Main issue was the AC was set to go up every 4 hours so it got very hot at times. We contacted the host about the AC settings, thinking it should be a simple fix, but they advised we continue to adjust it every 4 hours and closed the chat.

First off I’d like to say that Vacasa is amazing. I love booking with them. Splash resort could use some updating, especially with those elevators….omg the wait time was horrible they are so slow and it’s too busy for just 2 elevators on each side. Other than that the kids had a great time at the splash pad, the lazy river and pool. The room itself was clean and plenty of room. The only complaint that I have was that AC. It was so HOT in the room especially the studio suite. It would not stay on 72 the temp kept changing from 72 to 74 and 76. No matter how many times you turn it down it would feel like the heat was on in there. The owner controls it and maintenance kept trying to get with him and get him to take care of it. Apparently I’m not the only one who had this problem. I really hope the owner fixes this problem. It was really miserable there with it being so hot in the unit.

Good resort but the room needs some repairs!
Overall this room is great location, resort, etc. however this room itself needs some updates, there was an issue with the air conditioner all week. The temp seemed to have some kind of control and kept going up and down and the room (especially the small apartment attachment) was hot. We contacted Vacasa several times and they did purchase fans but it did not help much, we were told we would be compensated so we will see if that happens. Vacasa tried to help, the owner seemed to not. Also, the kitchen could use some updates, the stove is very used and the top is very worn and dirty, stand up shower door in the master didn’t close or open well at all. Some of the outlets we noticed did not work. Overall we enjoyed our stay but this room could use some updates and repairs.

Great family place for all 9 of us. Bunks are great in the 2nd bedroom for the kids. I addressed something’s that can be improved in private. The beach loungers rental included with this home is worth the world. Thank you for that, it makes a great beach day. Overall a great place with the best views of the beach and private balconies in each room.

Great stay
We had an overall great stay. The condo itself has a lot of wear and tear but the beds were comfy. One of the tv remotes did not work and Vacasa was quick to get maintenance up to our room to replace it. The garbage disposal also did not work but we didn’t go to the trouble of putting in a work order. With this condo, you are paying for an amazing view and fun amenities for kids. I would say it was plenty big enough for our party of 10. The elevators were troublesome so we recommended attempting to checkout with carts an hour before checkout.

Not happy with how when we arrived we couldn’t get in for 15 mins because the door code want working and I had to call 3 times before it worked!! Then we got into the room and there was 3 sliding doors with balconies none of the locks worked and we had 2 toddlers with us so that was scary, we had to call them to have maintenance come up to fix them😡 then we noticed it was hot in the room and it was because the air kicks off and heat kicks on if the doors are just opened at any given time so we always had to keep check on it so we wouldn’t be so hot!!

We arrived for our week stay at splash unit 701E. We waiters until 4pm check in and had to call 4 times because nobody at Vacasa knew the door code. Once we entered the room it was dirty candy all over the floor happy birthday balloons clipped to the lamp shades. There was empty lunchable boxes under the bed, no toilet paper. Dirty socks left on the floor. Used pillow cases under the beds. The fridge had stuff spilled in it. The cabinets had stuff splashed all over them. The fire alarm beeped the whole time! Definitely will not boom this room again.

Family Vacation 2022
The condo was a great size for our family of 9. The condo is on the 7th floor of splash and that was convenient as the elevators are extremely slow. The splash pad and pools are always a hit with my family. The condo was not very clean, The sofa was dirty with numerous spots. A covered the sofa with sheets before sitting on them. When we arrived, the code to enter the condo did not work. It took several phone calls to finally get in and approximately 45 minutes later we were able to enter the condo. On the second day, when we returned from an outing the door would not open. We had to call Vacasa and were told they would get maintenance to come to assist. Finally, maintenance came and opened the door. On a good note, the Vacasa rep responded and attempted several times to change the code for us to gain access. He checked back on us to make sure the code continued to allow access.

Nice, but...
Overall the condo is decent. But there were issues, like broken chairs (reported but not fixed), no decent covers on the beds (sheets only), and the AC interlock was super annoying. Supposed to be a 90 second reset, but would reset to 76 deg nearly every time we walked out the door. It is not well stocked with anything, bring your own toilet paper, trash bags etc.

We traveled with my family of 6. Myself and husband (late40s) 2 kids (10 & 12) and parents (mid 70s). We have been using VRBO for years and always rented from an individual, never once have we had any issues and it's all been wonderful. We have also stayed at SPLASH before and love the resort itself. Renting a condo through a company (Vacasa) was not at all like our previous trips and I will not do that again. The day of check in the person at the check in desk was already gone (It was 5:30 on a Saturday) It took 5 different phone calls to Vacasa over an hour and a half to get us into our condo. we were never sent a code like the email stated we would. With kids ready to eat and get on with a vacation and impatient senior parents, it wasn't a great experience at all. The condo itself left something to be desired. I had read that it was well worn, needed updating and replacing. They were correct. While we had a great time and it was a great space, it wasn't as taken care of as condos owned by individuals. Every piece of furniture was scratched to pieces, walls had ginormous scratches/dents/small holes. Half the window in the living room was covered in black gunk that turned out to be where the curtain had melted to the window and never cleaned off. The ceiling fans and pictures on the walls looked like they hadn't been dusted in years and that got my allergies stirred up. One picture hung over a bed so loosely and crooked we took it down for fear it would fall on our heads. The bunk beds are in the smallest middle room, which makes zero sense. It's so squishy in there that you can't open the closet door to use it. The inside of the drawers in the chest of drawers in that room were so dusty we cleaned them with a damp rag before we could use them. The middle bathroom, that is across from this mentioned room, has zero storage. No cabinet to store underneath, no shelving over the toilet, nada. The stains on the couches and chairs were pretty gross. Since it owned by the company there are no games, books, beach gear, nothing like that. There are glass plates, cups, bowls and nothing plastic. With kids we missed whoevers stash of plastic cups to drink out of from local food joints. - I love the set up of the 3 bedroom at Splash and we had a great trip, it was just a good wake up for me that I wont rent from a company again. I will go with an individual.

This unit was very disappointing. The pictures are very deceiving. Couch and furniture were so nasty I would not allow my family to sit on it. Threw a sheet over the couch. Paint peeling off the kitchen cabinet doors. The dining table was covered with a cheap cloth and found out why. The table top had been peeled off. The patio windows had something black all over them blocking the beautiful view. The doors were hard to open, stayed hot in the rooms. Tubs and sinks would not drain. Very nasty unit.

I really wanted to give this condo a 5, but due to the condition of the sofa and some of the tables I could not. Plus the bunk bed room was so crowded it was almost impossible to access the closet. I love how close the condo is to the water. Having two free beach chairs with umbrella was a big plus. The views were spectacular from every room. Each bedroom had its own large bathroom. Very clean. I would love to stay n this condo again. Highly recommend.

Nice but dated
The unit was nice but dated. A lot of aesthetics need fixing on almost all the furniture. The kitchen sink is nearly impossible to shut off, the hallway bathroom toilet leaked into the floor so I had to shut it off to keep toilet water out of the hallway. The tv in the kids room was broken. The bed frame in the off unit was broken. Just a lot of aesthetic issues all through the unit. On our first day of our trip, the elevator was broke and we had to carry our luggage up to the 7th floor. The lady at the check in desk was abrasive and rude at arrival and when I tried to get my 4th parking pass she belittled me and treated me like I was nuisance to her and was accusatory towards me. She wouldn’t give me my 4th parking pass that came with my unit. Both of my interactions with her were terrible, but the lady that worked when she didn’t was absolutely fantastic. The elevators are terribly slow and you will get very aggravated waiting for them. I can’t imagine the wait during peak season. The resort in general seems outdated for the price I paid for my stay.
