River Mountain Lodge Upper Flume Condo is the premier 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom penthouse River Mountain Lodge condo that’s the perfect vacation spot for families or groups of up to 8 people. Inside, the spacious living area and attached dining area provide an open concept feel that capitalizes on the superb views of the ski area through massive floor-to-ceiling windows. There’s a big flat-screen TV and a gas fireplace where you can relax after a long day of exploring the mountains or historic downtown Breckenridge and catch your favorite show or the game. Outside, lounge on the big porch and soak in the views of the ski resort and Tenmile Mountain Range while you watch the skiers coming down 4 O'Clock Run. Just off the patio is the private indoor hot tub situated in its own tile enclosure providing a relaxing and private environment to enjoy a soak.

A perfect spot to stay in Breckenridge

The private hot tub was amazing. Check in went smoothly. The gondola is a two minute walk downhill from the unit. If you know Breckenridge. There is a large parking garage next to the gondola. This unit is on the other side of that parking garage. You will not be sorry if you rent this unit.

Beautiful View and Excellent Location!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The staff reached out through text to make sure we had all we needed. The beds were super comfortable and there were plenty of extras blankets. Having the private hot tub was awesome after a day on the slopes. The view of the slopes was amazing! The only complaint we have was the first night there were lots of snow/ice trucks cleaning the street below us off and on through the night and they were super loud. Every time they back up a little they would beep. The other nights we were there this was not an issue. I had read in some reviews that there was street noise- but it seemed to correlate with people staying in the summer time when windows would be open. With all of this said, our daughter said if we have the opportunity to come back out again she wants to make sure we stay at the same spot!

Nice place

The rental was great and in the best location. The heater was broken the entire time we were there, which was a bit inconvenient. There were a lot of forms and extra steps we needed to take that seemed much more in depth than advertised. Additionally, they do require a deposit, which was unclear when I booked through VRBO.

Great location, great condo

Terrific views of the mountains and just steps away from Main Street. When we weren't out and about, we spent most of our time on the balcony which is a big plus with this unit. Nice and big, great views. You do get a bit of street noise from Hwy 9 but it wasn't horrible. The in-unit jacuzzi was also a big plus. The unit has been updated here and there and it shows. Parking was comfortable. Enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Getaway in the mountains

Our stay was amazing, from check-in process to Check out process. The staff at the summit rental were accommodating and helpful. Receptionist at the front desk were kind enough to let us park at the employee parking lot because the main parking lot was full. Just one suggestion, have housekeeping wash the extra sheets and blankets stored in the closet, they had hair and fuss on them. One thing to remember is unlink other rentals, this place does not offer any condiments or coffee essentials. There is City Market in Breckenridge which is little pricey and the closest Walmart is in Frisco. Therefore, before heading toward Breckenridge buy all the essentials.

Great location. Enjoyed being able to walk everywhere. Plenty of space for the 5 of us. The access to the upper bunk is awkward but doable.

Exactly as advertised

Great location, one block off of Main. Hikers, you can hit a trail right outside the front door. The unit has a beautiful view and the room sizes and finishes are strong. Two things to be aware of is that the beds are queens and in the Summer you may need to fire up the fans to keep things cool. Fortunately, the hosts provided multiple fans.

Great Spot

This is located right above the road, which provides for a great view but also road noise. Once we went to sleep we closed the windows and turned on noise machines that we always travel with; it wasn't a problem at night. It is a nice place everything is capable and works well.

Great location

The location was great, just a short 3-4 min walk to Main Street. The views were so beautiful from the patio. It was clean and we loved having the hot tub right in our place. We didn’t hear any neighbors but if you had the screen open you could hear the big trucks go by. It was nice to still have access to the resorts amenities, pool, snacks, garage parking. It was an excellent stay!

River Mountain Lodge Upper Flume Condo

This is a remarkable property with impressive mountain views. While we visited in the summer, this would be a great place in Breck to stay during the ski season. Its only a 5 minute walk to the gondola and you can finish the day by skiing to directly across the street from the entry of River Mountain Lodge. The building is very convenient to the bustling downtown area - where everything is within walking distance.

Great Location

The property is in a great location and has lots of room. We enjoyed every bit of the stay! Key perks: - parking right in the center of town - personal hot tub - great view of the mountain - all the buildings amenities were in good working order - check in process seamless - beds were very comfortable - large tvs When we called to get things fixed, the property management was quick to reply and attempt to remedy the issue (attempt but we’re not able to solve while we were on-site a window pane issue). This property looks like it changed owners - as all the pictures in the posting had art on the walls. These are not there.

All in all this was a very great stay such a convenient location! Only complaint i would have is that the room with the bunk beds got very hot when the doors were closed. Not a big deal at all tho!
