Newly renovated beachfront property! You will love this perfect Bear Lake vacation getaway. Situated on a private beach (shared with only 6 property owners), you will experience unbelievable views from this spacious 2,200 square foot luxury townhouse. There is plenty of room for your family and friends in this beachfront retreat. The home features a 3rd story Family Suite with a Queen Bed and night stands, as well as 2 day-beds with trundles, and a private bath. The home comes with 2 4k HD televisions with Apple TV built in.. A main floor master also includes a queen bed. The kids will love the downstairs bunk room with two bunk beds. The final bedroom features a queen bed and a deck overlooking the private patio and beach. With room in beds for up to 14, it is the perfect home to host up to 16 guests.

Your family gathering area includes a family room with 2 leather sofas, 2 new comfy chairs (new for 2024), a 58 inch Samsung HD Television. The upgraded gourmet kitchen includes a smooth top cooktop, built in oven and microwave, dishwasher, a granite island, and seating for 16. It is fully stocked with everything you need including dishes and silverware for 16, coffee maker, toaster, griddle, mixer, blender, pots, pans, and much more.

Just off the family room and kitchen, relax on the back patio and enjoy the sunrise and lake view with deck chairs and a new stainless steel barbeque (new for 2024). There are no neighbors behind you to impact your unobstructed view.

The location of Sand Haven is perfect, just a couple blocks from the city center, but secluded on a private beach. Walk to all the restaurants, the new grocery store, and bike rentals. No need to drive to find a parking spot in town. Enjoy all the shopping, food (milkshakes!), and entertainment of Garden City.

Comes with 6 parking spots. The location is perfect and the views are spectacular. A washer and dryer, detergent, and dryer sheets are all provided for our guests. By the way, you have access to a large shared lawn, with plenty of space for family games. Also comes with 2 kayaks and a paddleboard for your use. We look forward to providing you with an exceptional experience.

Perfect place for our family of 16.

Perfect location!

This was our third time staying here, and we just love it! It feels like our home away from home. The location is perfect- we walked to crepes and coffee for breakfast and the grocery store and restaurants are super close as well. The yard is very large and there is a play structure for the kids. The dock was so much fun as well, and there are kayaks and paddle boards to use in the garage. Definitely a bear lake gem!

Very nice place

Had a wonderful stay. The view is so beautiful. It fit our family needs just right. Thought the stairs might be an issue but really not bad at all. If you could work on the weather forecast- we’d give 10 stars. LOL.

The Perfect Stay

Our family had a wonderful time at Sand Haven. The views are spectacular and the privacy is heavenly. The unit was very clean and accomidated all of our needs. It was wonderful to have plenty of parking and be able to walk to town when we wanted. We will definitely be returning to make more memories at this beautiful location. KJ

Family Getaway Success

We loved staying at this property. It was central to the town - everything we needed was close by. We enjoyed the lake access and private dock. The home was neat and tidy. Craig was excellent to work with. There was in the booklet a suggestion for a cave nearby and we went and had a great time. We look forward to staying there again in the future. We recommend this property.

Family Fun at Bear Lake 2024

This was such a great property; we love being right on the lake. We are already planning for next year. The only thing that could make it better is taking care of the weeds between the lawn and the beach. Other than that, it was Perfect.

Lake Stay

The 90' pier was appreciated. Shallows are rocky, not sandy or muddy. Much of the nearby shore is muddy. I have made a reservation for next year at this property. I did not like the metal bunk that I slept in. Every wiggle by granddaughter in the top bunk was transmitted down to me.

Amazing Lakefront Getaway - Perfect for Families!

We had an unforgettable stay at this incredible lakefront property. The location couldn't be better—just steps away from the water with easy access to the lake. The proximity made it super convenient for our family to enjoy all the water activities without any hassle. The dock was a highlight, offering plenty of room for the kids to fish, swim, and play. It was a central hub for our daily adventures, and we loved how easy it was to get in and out of the water. The views were simply stunning, especially during sunrise and sunset. Great family memories!!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this townhouse, right on the shores of the beautiful turquoise Bear Lake! There was plenty of room for our whole family of 14 to stay! It was very clean and spacious! The owners were awesome and very responsive! Having the paddle board and kayaks available for us to use was so amazing and fun! We would definitely stay there again! First Bear Lake visit

We had 6 adults and a 2 year old. The house is lovely. The description online is perfectly written. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room. The semi-private beach was amazing. We caught a lot of fish right off the dock. We brought a canoe and went fishing in deeper water as well. We brought all the food needed for the 3 days. The kitchen had everything we needed, pots, pans, dishes, silverware etc. They have a fun play area for the kids. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone. It was the best and most relaxing vacation I have ever been on in recent memory.

Amazing getaway!

This was our second time staying here, and we loved it! The water level was high and the swimming dock was submerged which was so much fun. We had 8 adults and 2 children and had plenty of room for everyone. There are a lot of stairs so keep that in mind if anyone in the group has mobility trouble. The location is amazing- walking distance to downtown garden city and super close to the marina. We will be back!

I booked this location as it was centrally located for a group I have know since grade school, I'm 68. It was a wonderful, spacious unit with rooms for all of our married couples. large living room for us to sit around and converse. We even took the Kayaks out on the lake. All of the amenities were new. The kitchen was completely stocked which we took full advantage of cooking every night. The location, right on the beach, gave a fantastic view out every window. I would highly recomend this place as a gettaway to a beautiful location.

Lake side living

Great location for our family. Loved the walkability …quick walk to coffee, shakes and lake. Enjoyed sitting on deck, watching the sunrise and the deer walk by each morning. The playground was a life saver- the two year old granddaughter wore herself out! Craig was awesome to work with and responded quickly to all communication.

Christmas in August

This was a gift to our family for Christmas. We had the best time ever. The house was clean and the games and water toys were awesome. We barbequed, watched the boat parade, and the fireworks. Everyone had a great time from our 6 month great granddaughter to the 72 year old grandpa!

Nice property. Enjoyed our stay. Dock/piers need serious attention and could really enhance the property. Lawn area was covered in animal droppings and was almost not useable. Also, despite admonition that pets were not allowed, dogs were on the property and lawn.

If I could give 6 stars...

This property is wonderful. It is right on the beach and is beautifully remodeled. We took our packrafts right out the back door and got in the water. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and necessary cookware and appliances. The beds were comfortable with nice linens and plenty of towels were provided. The stores are very close within walking distance. There are play structures out back to occupy the kids also. This is the first VRBO I have ever booked again before I even checked out. Can’t wait to come back for an even longer stay next June!

Our family discovered beautiful Bear Lake in 2002. We soon purchased a lot overlooking the lake and built our family cabin, where we spent many wonderful summers. There is nowhere in the world like Bear Lake. Over the years, it has become our home away from home. We have enjoyed the boating and skiing, hanging out on the beach, ATV riding, wildlife watching, and family reunions. We loved our cabin, but we always wanted a place on the beach. The opportunity presented itself to purchase Sand Haven in 2019 and we loved the home and the location. We are looking forward to spending many years here, and are happy to share it with our guests.

Why they chose this property

There are a limited number of properties on the beach, and Sand Haven was perfect! It is very rare to find a secluded, semi-private beach within walking distance of Garden City.
