Attractive spacious villa but NOT family friendly
Villa is an impressive building with huge rooms, amazing views and pretty garden.
However, we had to cut our stay short in the villa because it was very uncomfortable and dangerous for our two infants. The listing states that children are welcome, but it is not at all safe for children, please avoid this villa if travelling with your family so you don't have the same experience as us.
The downstairs doors do not lock properly, anyone could enter the property without a key.
There is no way to heat the property and it becomes absolutely freezing at night. My baby's head was ice cold during the night.
Baby monitors do not work in the property as the walls are so thick and there is only wifi in one of the rooms.
The microwave is at knee height which happens to be perfect toddler head height with no way to turn off at the mains.
The staircase and bannisters are extremely unsafe and a child could fall down the stairs through the bannister onto extremely hard floor.
The water in the bath pours out brown.
No instructions are provided for any appliances/devices in the property.
To top it off, the property manager completely ignores messages. We tried to communicate our concerns with her during our stay and she did not have the courtesy to reply, even when we advised her of our early departure. We felt very disappointed and misled - luckily we found somewhere else that was much more family friendly.
