Silver Fern is a large, bright and comfortable apartment. It is equipped with everything you need!
Its location is central and easily accessible from all parts of the city.
It consists of four bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a large kitchen / dining room.
The building was built in the late 1800s, while the apartment was completely renovated and furnished in 2012. In the interior spaces we have kept the old layout of the rooms but adapted them to the needs of those who visit Rome for a few days. As a novelty, a very large space has been created, where it is possible to cook, eat and relax after a long day of visits to the city.
Entering the apartment you will find yourself in a large room with a large cuttura corner with dishwasher, washer-dryer, large fridge, oven, toaster, juicer, plates, glasses, pots and cups.
The apartment is equipped with air conditioning and independent heating and has an unlimited amount of hot water.
Silver Fern is located in the San Giovanni / Esquilino area, on the eastern side of the city center, near the Termini station, the best location in the city for walking and experiencing the real Rome.

Clean but empty

4 perfect size bedrooms with three bathrooms in Rome with a great size kitchen was perfect. I am used to having some basics like shampoo and Jane and butter in fridge or just a few starters. Still if you stay for more than 3 days there are plenty of local stores to buy the staples. I would stay here again.

Nice place

Overall we enjoyed our stay. It was extremely hot on Rome and thank god the place had air conditioning or it would of been miserable. Using the metro we were able to get around easily once we figured it out. Rino greeted us when we arrived and was a great help arranging transportation to and from the airport. By the way great gelato place just down the street and also near a grocery store. Would defiantly recommend it for a few day to a week stay.

The apartment was very convenient for us.

We were a group of four, a couple and 2 friends. We all had separate bedrooms and bathrooms, but also could get together for meals etc. location is very convenient. The apartment had everything we needed.

Nice spot for our stay in Rome

I traveled with my daughter and two high school age grandchildren. We were very pleased to find an apartment with 4 bedrooms so everyone had their own private space. We wanted to travel light so the washer/dryer was a wonderful bonus. The location is close to a metro stop and the train station which helps for getting around Rome. Rino was a great host, meeting us on arrival and also upon departure.

Spacious and clean and close to Termini Station

Five of us shared this spacious 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom apartment in what passes for Chinatown in Rome, a district called Esquilino. The apartment was very clean and had all the modern conveniences, including a dishwasher. It was originally the family home of the owner so it has nice vibes. It is on the 4th (or 5th) floor but the very small and quaint elevator works well enough, if only for 3 people at a time. The owner was very responsive and even organized a driver (Carlo) to pick us up at and deliver us back to the airport. Would definitely stay again.

Good location and roomy

There were six in our group and wehad ample room. The lication is close to Metro and a Market making it a good location. This stop is two stops fromTermini. That makes getting around Roma ideal. The owner warned us about pick pockets as does all literature on any large city around the world. We walked about as a group and always felt safe enough even after dark. The owner has been responsive to our inquiries. He showed us on a map various places to eat and go. I would recommend this place

Great place in Rome!

This apartment was a wonderful place to stay, beautiful and fully equipped. Near the train station and walking distance to many historical sites. Rino was a great help and was able to recommend a wonderful driver to shuttle six of us, with luggage, to the airport at 3 am! Also refunded my deposit promptly!!

Lovely apartment in an ideal location

We had a lovely stay in this apartment. It is ideally situated and the transport links are excellent. On our arrival it was immaculate and the configuration of the bedrooms and bathrooms suited our party of 7 perfectly. We would thoroughly recommend the property and would definitely use it again. Fabulous accommodations, location and customer service.

We were met at the door to get let in and shown around. Location is great to get to sites by subway and 20 min walks. I would definitely stay here again.

Ferienwohnung ist groß und sehr gepflegt, sie liegt nur 5 Gehminuten von der Metro Vittorio Emanuelle entfernt, wodurch man sehr schnell zum Vaktikan und den anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten gelangt. Ein Supermarkt liegt auch keine 5 Minuten entfernt auf der gleichen Straßen, dieser hat 7 Tage die Woche auf, was sehr praktisch ist wenn man Sonntags anreist. Wir waren mit 7 Personen dort und können es nur weiterempfehlen.

Condo was clean and as described.

The condo was clean and as described by the owner. Rino (the ownwer) was very helpful. He set up transportation to the airport for us, gave us a run down on where the important points of Rome where, and answered any and all questions promptly. I would recommend this condo to anyone that wants to stay in Rome.

Wonderful spacious apartment in excellent location

Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our time in this apartment. Each of the teens had their own bedroom, and the 3 baths made the shower schedule very easy. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were well-lit and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed having the large kitchen/dining area to get together, but also being able to have privacy in our individual rooms. The kitchen was average size for European city kitchens, but had all of the utensils that we needed. The apartment is very modern, had plenty of plugs for our electronics, and appears to have been remodeled relatively recently. The location was excellent, only 2 blocks from a metro stop, and within 20 minutes walking distance of many of the places we wanted to visit. The grocery was only three blocks away, and there was an excellent bakery three blocks in the other direction. A block away was the historic and delicious gelato shop where we stopped almost every night on our way home. The neighborhood is eclectic and interesting, and we always felt safe walking around the area. Rino was an excellent host, giving us many good recommendations, and arranging for a car to take us to the airport at 5:30 am when we left. He and Nicola were very helpful before we arrived, answering all of my questions quickly and cheerfully. We highly recommend this apartment for anyone visiting Rome.

Family visit

Really nice apartment in a wonderful city. It fitted all our needs for a successful weekend break. Rino helped with transfers from the airport which worked tremendously . He explained the nearby area for amenities could,not ask for more. A good solution for friend and family needing a group accomadation. Well done Ricky!

great stay

great stay for 3 days. in the heart of china town, next to metro and bus stop, 5 minutes walk from the main train station, 15 minutes walk to the Colosseum. nice and clean 4 bedroom apartment with full kitchen including washer/dryer...It's on upper floor (with street & courtyard view), interesting historical tiny box elevator...The owner is very nice even arranged his friend to pick us up from the airport, very helpful on touring suggestions too.
