Loved the location and the property. Found the kitchen to be particularly well stocked and all appliances were new. Was a the perfect size for our group of 4x adults and 2x kids. Would stay again!
This house was perfect for our long weekend for a family wedding. It was very clean, great space, and close to downtown and other places we needed! We would stay again if we came back to this area!
Super cute. Very clean house. Everything you could need in the kitchen. Great location to downtown as well as proximity to ski slopes. We very much enjoyed our stay!
Rental was perfect for family visiting from out of state. Upstairs did not have central air as description stated. Driveway needs widening to be able to get two vehicles off sidewalk.
This property was perfect for our weekend in Charlevoix for a wedding at Castle Farms. The home has 2 1/2 baths which was hard to find and necessary for 6 people. Everything was very clean and well stocked. The location is perfect for walking to breakfast, the water and the shops. We would definitely stay here again.
The inside of the house was beautiful. The outside needed a good power wash to get rid of the spiders and tree crud. Neighbors are not happy (unfriendly, semi hostile signs around) having a VRBO home - we only had 2 cars - were there for a wedding - no late nights etc.
The location was great for our 4 day stay; easy walk to town and our friends. A well appointed kitchen with new appliances and a nice coffee bar, nice sized rooms and bathrooms. Nice covered front porch to linger on and a hard lid gazebo in the back yard on a concrete slab. Also a nice, very clean gas grill for barbecuing. Not a big yard, but pet friendly for our 1 dog. Unfortunately our timing wasn’t right and the very long grass was not mowed when we arrived, it got mowed on the day we left and the landscaping was in need of some attention. We are outdoors people and attention to the landscape would have made the stay more enjoyable. Over all - we would book the home again.
Beautiful home and everything we where looking for. It is on a quiet street close to so much. Loved that they had a bedroom on the main floor which was really nice for my grandma. House was perfect sized and you didnt feel as if you were on top of each other. Lets not forget to talk about the Kitchen! Fully equipped with every utensil, pot and pans, cups that you can think of and they where good pan that your eggs don't stick too. It was a short visit and can see a rebooking in the near future
The property was very clean and updated. The neighborhood was quiet, which was nice. The only issue we had was the driveway was VERY narrow!! We could NOT fit any of our vehicles on it. (One full size truck and one 67 chevy impala) There was stakes in the grass on the side of the driveway, and the neighbor was VERY explicit about NOT crossing them and so we had to park in the street,
Beautiful place close to downtown restaurants and shops. Clean and master on first floor which is nice for older folks. Kitchen well stocked and lovely. Thanks!
We stay in town every year. This pet friendly house was well located for walks into town. We enjoyed the space as our son and family chose to join us for some of the time. The barbeque, kitchen amenities and outside patio space worked well. A new, good working washer and dryer a bonus after days at the beach. Upstairs temps were a bit warm even with the window air and the upstairs beds were less than comfortable. Still, the shared space with family worked. Management communication was good and earlier check in was very much appreciated. Thank you.......
We stayed in other properties in Charlevoix and most have their quirks; however this one was very comfortable, had a great location, and the house was very helpful. We enjoyed our stay
The house has been renovated to an open concept on the main floor. Very comfortable for our family of 4 adults. I was pleasantly surprised with the central air (I was expecting window units). The kitchen is fabulous - we also grilled on the lovely patio. Perfect location - walking distance to everything downtown and beaches. We will definately use this again!
Our group loved walking from the house to downtown Charlevoix every evening to great shops, restaurants & events (14 min). There's even a grocery store along the way. We had 2 cars and brought our boat but had plenty of parking on the wide street in front. The house was very well stocked with literally anything we could need for our stay but food! The kitchen was top-notch all brand new everything. However, there were a few issues. The 2 bedrooms up were very hot, no screens to open windows in our bedroom, thank goodness for the fan but still uncomfortable. No mirrors (except bath) for 4 people getting ready upstairs was also tough. Communication before & during trip was poor. They were hard to get a hold of and should have just came out to rectify window screens, we just sucked it up. But the biggest issue we ALL agreed on was the beds, that was a real deal/back breaker. Unfortunately, compared to the rest of the house they really cheaped out on the mattresses. Hot & uncomfortable, upstairs didn't get one good sleep in 3 nights. I would leave 3 1/2 stars if I could.
Some friends and I visited this area for a girls weekend/ Charlevoix marathon. This house was fabulous! It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It was also within walking distance to a grocery store and downtown. I would stay here again!
The house is beautiful and comfortable. Charlevoix itself is such a cute little town. Hosts were great and responded quickly to any texts or messages. We would definitely come back in the future if we find ourselves back!
We rented this house as a place to stay for a ski wknd up north in Michigan. Charlevoix is a nice town. Most everything was as advertised - the house was clean and had all the amenities we needed. There were A few minor things that should have been taken care of - such as solid ice on the front walk leading to the porch, a dishwasher left full of clean dishes and three old pizzas left in the refrigerator. The neighbors had a dog that liked to bark a bit as well, but other than that it was a good stay.
Very nice place. Well stocked with everything you could possibly need for cooking, etc.. We highly recommend this cute downtown house. Well situated and close to everything in Charlevoix.
The home was clean, neat and nicely decorated. The kitchen was sufficiently stocked with plates, pots, appliances to allow you to cook meals. Within walking distance of the mushroom houses, Lake Michigan and the beach, as well the downtown and marinas. Would stay there again!

Disliked: Cleanliness
Just okay
Beds were not comfortable, too cold downstairs too hot upstairs, towels smelled musty opened washing machine and found it full of mold. Kitchen would be great for a longer stay. However, the beds and pillows were lacking, we all woke up with back or leg pain.
Contacted them about the cleanliness or lack there of (high touch areas were not cleaned well, toilet upstairs was dirty, hair on the floors in both bathrooms and throughout the house, carpets weren't vacuumed) on the first day. They offered to send someone over, but the weather was bad and so we were at the home most of the time. Great location, walking distance from the main strip but the bed situation made it hard for us to enjoy our stay. Definitely feel like we overpaid for 2 nights.
This was a beautiful home in a great location. It was about a 8 minute walk to the lake, and a short walk to downtown. The house was very clean and nice inside. We loved that our pup could join us for vacation too. Everything we needed for our stay was there for us. We noticed that the bed in the master bedroom was actually a full instead of a queen, but overall didn’t effect our satisfaction with the home. We found that the communication with the property manager wasn’t the best we have experienced, but despite that, we would definitely stay here again.
