Beautiful property, wonderful owners, private, master suite is perfect, second bedroom is small. A perfect get away for a young couple and a few children. A GREAT value. The fishing in lake bryan is great. And the neighbors are wonderful. Our thanks toJeanine and Dan
We had a great visit here. We made a lot of our own food, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The house is well decorated inside and we loved the porch swing and patio. We had s'mores one night in the firepit, and enjoyed taking a kayak for a spin around the small lake.
Our family enjoyed the surrounding area during our stay. Kayaking on the Platte River, visits to the beach, biking in the National Lakeshore, and a stop in Glen Arbor. A relaxing and fun filled time. The location of our stay was very convenient. The home is very comfortable and in a quiet area.
Very nice and great amenities. Close to Traverse and Lake Michigan for day trips. Loved Lake Bryan for paddle-boarding. Would definitely stay here again.
The pictures do not do the home justice. It was more beautiful and spacious then the photos let on. We normally do not choose vacation properties with so many other properties close by, however, even with houses so close on both sides we never heard the neighbors and most days we had the lake to ourselves. The house is a 10min walk to Lake Ann Brewery, The Corner Cone ice cream shop, a small store, a restaurant, park, small beach, and coffee shop. We went to all of these locations and each was great. The brewery had live music outside nightly which we enjoyed. The lake itself was smaller and we set their swim platform up further out into the lake for the kids to swim as the water by the dock was caked with layers of leaves and the kids kept getting small leeches on them. Once they were father out the leeches were not an issue. Location was great for us to use a a base to go and hike sleepy bear dunes area, go to beaches there, and to do a couple river kayak trips. It was also about 15-20mins to Traverse City’s downtown area.
Great week up north with family and this location was central to everything we wanted to do for the week. Loved ability to walk to grocery store, brewery and coffee house
Great house, wonderful property, beautiful landscaping and tremendous lakefront view ! House is top-notch, all the the things you need, top of the line modern kitchen. Bedrooms and baths very clean, beds comfortable. Bottom line -- all good, no bad !
The pictures do not do this justice. A cool lakefront home with fantastic lake views and access on quiet Bryan Lake. Fishing was great. We even saw a paiir of Loons. Plenty of nearby attractions to visit, including Traverse City, Glen Arbor, and various Lake Michigan beaches. So relaxing we didn't want to leave. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay.
The property was wonderful. Layout was nice for two couples. The water was warm enough for a swim. We liked the fact that it was central to many of the area's attractions.
6 of us stayed here and were very comfortable. The home is lovely, beds comfy and the lake is peaceful. The location is in the middle of all the places we love to go. The owner’s are helpful and nice. We loved every minute!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this immaculate house. The home’s location on Bryan Lake made for a very relaxing setting. In fact, we spent a good amount of time on the back deck facing the water; and, the home’s wrap-around front porch is the perfect summertime reading spot. A short walk takes you right into town where visitors can find a coffee shop, brewery, restaurant and country store.
My family had an amazing time at this Lake Ann rental! It was honestly the cleanest house I've ever been in, totally immaculate. The decor is beautiful and every detail and amenity has been thought of. Very comfortable beds, nice linens, great towels, etc. Everything was great! The lake is so clear and clean. There isn't really a beach at the house, but there's a swim platform provided, and we would just float around towards the middle of the lake. If I had to critique one thing, it would just be that the couches were a bit uncomfortable and seemed to be starting to break a little, but don't let that stop you from staying here. Seriously the nicest rental experience we've ever had!
The property is outstanding and the hosts are wonderful people. It was wonderful to sit on the patio and watch the sunset and roast s'mores over the fire pit.
This beautiful beach house is wonderfully designed,
constructed, and decorated and has everything you could need. We absolutely loved our stay. And the host could not have been nicer or more helpful. We highly recommend this vacation rental.
Property was great. Very clean and thoughtfully prepared with everything we needed. Owner was super nice. Great launching spot for Northern Michigan fun, or just hanging out at the house.
We had a great time at Rolling Birch. Enjoying the lake view, (top notch)taking the boat out and fishing, grilling on the patio, short trips to take in the scenery and just relaxing in peaceful surroundings and comfort. So close to Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Leland etc. Jeanine and Dan have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. Perfect kitchen and great room. Master bedroom just beautiful. Comfortable bed too! Our son, his wife and our 3 year old grandson stayed next door at Lone Pine, 1 bedroom cottage. 30 ft from us! Worked well during these COVID times. We would like to come back next year. Thanks Jeanine & Dan for accommodating us on such short notice.
