Easy Access Ground Level Apartment - Pet friendly with furnished patio, grill with propane and private fenced yard. King in master bedroom, 2nd sleeping area has double bed. Dog friendly. It is located at the 7th street beach walkover for quick and easy beach access, approximately a 100 foot walk. Only a six block walk into town for dining and great entertainment. This is a townhouse unit in a building that has three units.
WE ARE PET FRIENDLY! PLEASE SELECT THE "PET" BUTTON. Maximum 2 dogs and we do not accept cats or birds. The pet fee is $95.00 plus tax and covers both dogs. Please let us know the breed/s and weight/s of your dog/s upon booking.

My daughter and I, with our two fur babies, love this cozy comfort hidden gem. There’s plenty of space to accommodate us all. The huge King size bed and the 2nd room has a full bed. Both beds were very comfortable. The fenced yard was one of the reason we chose this location, plus the beach is walking right across the street!!! Very clean and uniquely decorated. We would definitely be staying here when we come back to visit Folly beach again!!! Thank you Mrs Alicia for welcoming our stay.
We greatly appreciated Miss Alicia (really sweet lady) and the property. My husband, my son and myself with our dogs really enjoyed this cozy and well-equipped condo. We brought our bikes so we could easily get to Central if we wanted. Literally 20 yds from the beach and right @ public access 7. Fenced yard, great rate and awesome location was why we chose this over others. Would definitely stay here again!! Thank you so much.
The location of this property was great for beach access and only a 15 minute walk to downtown. The condo was a little dated but super clean and worked great for us. The neighborhood is quiet. We would rent again for sure!
This is my second time staying at this property and it never disappoints. The cleanliness of the unit is fantastic and it is stocked with anything you might need to get your vacation started. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking with a large gas grill outside. The dogs absolutely loved the small fenced yard and it was nice to be able to let them out whenever they wanted some outside time. The owners are so kind and accommodating and it will be a pleasure to come back next year!
This place was so cute, convenient, clean, & waaaay under represented by the photos. It’s much larger, brighter, & cute than the pics show. The bedding has been updated, the place is immaculate, & the entire check in/ out process was easier than we could ever have hoped for. I’d give it 10 stars if I could & I think we’ve got a new favorite spot in Folly. We will be back!
I loved this property and didn't want to leave. Wonderful location and amenities. Both beds were very comfortable, the apartment is adorable and looks better than the photos, and is convenient to everything,
everything was exactly as expected. Beautiful place so close to the beach man and my two children had a wonderful time and I loved that we could bring our dogs. It was very very nice.

Great location for beach access and property was great too. Stayed in apt #1 for 4 days and it was very comfortable. About a 15-20 minute walk to town but there's golf carts available for rent that I'd recommend, especially makes parking in town much easier. Cute fenced in backyard with grill & patio set. Apt. was very clean and welcoming. 2 bedrooms, one is only accessible through bathroom but we figured it out... not a big deal. Cute little living room where my 11yr old son slept comfortably. Definitely would recommend staying here.
My husband and two children stayed here for a week at the end of May. The weather was perfect and the location of this house was great. It was a very quick walk across the street to the beach. The outdoor shower/hose was great for rinsing sand off when we got back from the beach. They had multiple beach chairs for us to use and 4 large beach towels. It was nice to not have to pack those. The layout of the house is a bit odd, but it was actually bigger inside than we were guessing. Our only complaint while there was the people staying above us seemed to constantly be running or stomping around making noises. This house is part of Chastain's Cottages and is split into 3 apartments so I'd maybe look into the top apartment next time so no one would be above us.
This was our first time in Folly and we discovered it's pretty busy in the summer, so it was nice to have our own big parking spot to use instead of fighting the crowds for parking along the street. Some things we did besides hanging at the beach was a 4 hr shark fishing trip, a shark tooth hunting excursion, visited Kiawah Island public beach, and we spent a day in Charleston.
I'd recommend this location. We met the owner and multiple workers and they were all very nice and asked if we needed anything during our stay.
Property was in a great location. Ground level apartment with fenced in yard for the dogs was the best!!! Very clean and spacious enough for us three adults and two small dogs!! Short walk across the street to the ocean!! Definitely have found my go to place at Folly Beach!
We really enjoyed our stay. The house was bigger than we expected with a nice layout that suited our needs perfectly. The house was nice and clean when we arrived and the property manager was very helpful with anything we needed. Beach access is very close and this end of the beach is not very crowded at all. It is about a one mile walk up to the main strip where there are plenty of restaurants and most of them allow dogs on the patio. We plan to stay here again in the not so distant future. Really happy with our trip to Folly Beach.
Great location - third house from the beach. Fenced yard ideal for dogs. Spacious first-floor unit in historic building with character. It occupies most of the first floor in a charming, older building. Larger than expected with unusual layout. You enter at the corner of an ‘L.’ One long corridor room houses the kitchen with a pass-through bathroom and a small bedroom at one end. The other long corridor room serves as the dining area, with a windowed desk at other end. In the middle of the ‘L’ lies the main bedroom with two closets, beyond which is the living room, complete with a TV, sofa, and two chairs. Some sounds from adjacent/upstairs units, nothing disturbing. The comfortable beds and provided beach accessories (towels and chairs) were appreciated. We would happily stay here again.
This property is perfect! Conveniently located to a beach access ramp! The courtyard patio has a big table as well as a grill for outdoor dining and activities! The fenced-in yard is perfect to keep pets safely having fun! The interior decor is cute, simple, and reminiscent of old Italy. Very charming. Even though it is small, it feels roomy because of layout. The main bedroom is huge and very comfortable. The extra bedroom is so cute with a beautiful French door for access to the outdoor courtyard. Everything is super clean too! The owners/host made everything easy and we felt welcomed! We loved it! ❤️

Chastain's Cottages has been in business since 1941 on Folly Beach. Lois Chastain moved from GA to work at the Naval Shipyard during the war. Eula bought houses and rented them to pay for them. We have 5 rental units - 3 smaller apartments across from the beach and 2 oceanfront houses. Lunnette will be 90 in 2024. She was Miss Folly Beach 1948! Alicia is the third generation and happy to help and to answer any questions.
