River's End is where the Majestic Navarro River meets the Pacific Ocean

River's End is an immaculate, newly decorated home fresh to the vacation rental market. The vast forested area across the river provides plenty of unspoiled lands for wildlife to roam, while coastal birds fly by the deck. You will have a bird's eye view with nothing between you and the vista overlooking the beautiful Navarro River as it flows to the Pacific Ocean. A virtual 3-D tour is available.

All new furnishings welcome you as you enter River's End. Relax on the couch in a vaulted ceiling, open concept living space with unending mountain, river, and ocean views. There are three tastefully decorated bedrooms, (all queens) each with that same incredible view, plus 2 full baths. The large, well-stocked kitchen offers an open space to prepare meals, while the dining area will always include fresh flowers on the table to create the perfect setting for your gourmet creations or take-out. Don’t feel like cooking? Dine in one of the five amazing restaurants all within a 10-minute drive. Want a bit of outdoor adventure? Kayak rentals are less than two miles away. Feel like beachcombing? Van Damme State Park or Navarro Beach is less than a 9-minute drive away. If Golf is your thing, Little River Golf Course is only a 6 miles distance. For some quick shopping, the Albion River store is a 5-minute drive away and provides a deli, grocery store, gas, and snacks. And the ever-popular historic Mendocino village is just 15 minutes away.

At the end of each day relax with your favorite beverage on the deck or spa while watching the sunlight dance off the river as it winds it's way to the sea. Partake of the comforting joy that settles in as you watch the changing colors as the sun slowly sinks into the Pacific. Great property!

The property was perfect for our group! The hot tub is also very nice. The master bedroom and bath were great and the other large bedroom was great. My only suggestion would be a higher mattress for the 3rd bedroom. The bed was low. The property was very clean and well stocked. We will stay here again. The view is amazing!

Stunning view!

The first thing you will notice upon arrival, is the view. It may be one of the best views of any rental on the Mendocino coast! We all commented on it many times a day, as it was just stunning! The house was very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed to make all our meals at the house. The bedrooms were very comfortable with great linens and the bathrooms had plenty of towels, with separate towels for the hot tub outside. The communication with the management was very good, with checking in and out very smooth. There were personal touches left for us such as a welcome letter, birthday greetings for one of our party, fresh flowers and chocolates. We enjoyed everything about our stay and would LOVE to go back again sometime!

Beautiful views, dog friendly house

This was a great little remote spot for a quick getaway. Giant picture window is amazing and it is well equipped with everything you need. The hot tub was great and the property is very well set up for dogs being there with a large lawn and a little crate full of helpful dog necessities. Note that it is a 15-20 minute drive from most places for food etc. which was not an issue for us at all, but if you care about being close to all that, it may not be your first choice property. Check in was super easy. No complaints! Would absolutely stay again!

Perfect escape

A little sparse on cooking tools, but not a big deal. Great condition and clean. Dog friendly. Quite a few stairs to get into into unit, btw. The area was very quiet though at present 11/21 there us construction next door. It’s nearly complete and was zero problem with any noise.

Some Issues, but the View Made it all Worthwhile

This lovely, clean, quiet house was in need of a few repairs (hot tub and stove not working,) but the manager was very apologetic and accommodating. The rooms were pretty comfortable, but the master bedroom could definitely use a better mattress. There were a lot of nice, welcoming touches including birthday wishes, truffles, and even a dog biscuit for our family pet. The view from the living room is absolutely enchanting! I sat looking out the window for hours out of our stay. This was a great relaxing getaway location, and we would stay here again.

Some good things and some bad things

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Some good things: There was a delightful welcome experience for our little terrier. The property is a nice size and was very clean and everything appeared to be in good condition. The kitchen had a solid amount of appliances/bake-ware/etc if you prefer to cook. It also has a great view when it's not foggy.Some bad things: For our stay the hot tub was broken, the stove was half broken, and the dishwasher leaked a large puddle of water over the counter and onto the floor. I own a busy beach vacation home myself in Oregon and I understand these things can happen. The management company was friendly and did what they could. However, the electric stove has got to be 30 years old. The largest element was not heating up and the left side was a weird grill thing that took foooreeever to heat up. (literally you could turn it on and go take a shower and hopefully its hot by the time you're done) I ended up trying to cook meals on the one tiny element. Ugh ... please get a new stove! Generally the home felt a little spartan. There's one tv, which is fine i suppose but we do like to watch the news in our room in the morning. So it felt like the home did not try to be flexible to renters' personal habits. In our home we provide a good amount of salt, sugar, spices and even some flour since these are a pain to try to pack but this home only had a few salt and pepper packets.

Perfect spot

The view was every bit as good as the photos. The house also seems to get quite a bit more sun than nearby areas when the fog would roll in. The house was clean and comfortable and had the basics for cooking. 2 of the bedrooms have a great view. It was a great location to get out and enjoy all the activities in the Mendocino area- 5 minute drive down to the beach, 15 minutes to the town of Mendocino, and 30 minutes to Fort Bragg. we would definitely stay here again!
