Spacious villa with pool near Cannes and Grasse

This 200 square meter villa is situated on a hillside near Cannes and Grasse. It has a beatiful view of the surrounding hills, just 40 minutes from Nice airport. It has a nice pool, a pleasant garden and free wifi. On the ground floor is the spacious living room, the kitchen, two bedrooms, toilet and shower. On the upper floor are three bedrooms and a bathroom with wc and a tub. Nearby is the medieval village of Auribeau, lots of trails for both trekking and biking, a couple of restaurants within walking distance, Cannes and the beaches of the Medittaranean are just 15-20 minutes drive away. Equally nearby is the city of Grasse with it's charming old town, perfume production and museums. An hour away is Gorge de Verdon, a dramatic canyon that cuts deep and winding through the wild provencial mountains. Rafting is a popular sport on the river at the bottom of the canyon.

Perfect home for 2 weeks of doing nothing
We were guests during the Whitsun vacation. The house offers plenty of space for two families with children. We were a total of 6 adults and two children. The house has a large kitchen, a lovely pool and enough terrace space to get out of the sun or wind. As the house is on a slope, there is no garden apart from the spacious terrace area and the pool, but this does not detract from the rating. We got to know the landlord, who is very friendly. The neighbor who took care of the keys when we left was also very welcoming - it's a shame that we speak almost no French, we would certainly have had a lot of fun with him. I've only given it 4 stars for cleanliness, but that doesn't mean it was dirty. It's just a normal house with normal dust - if you can't cope with that you have to go to a hotel.

Lovely Holiday
The area was quiet, with the faint sound of music from the neighbours on a Friday. Which we all enjoyed. The house and pool were clean. We found getting to Grasse and Valbonne easy. Absolutely lovely and easy to manage. Highly recommend.

Wunderschöner Familienurlaub
Sehr angenehmer Kontakt mit dem Vermieter/Eigentümer der sehr darum bemüht war, das die Ankunft reibungslos verläuft! Die Villa ist herrlich gelegen mit einer tollen Aussicht auf die Umgebung von dem großartigen Pool und den Terassen. Ausstattung mit Utensilien und Elektrogeräten ist absolut ausreichend. Alles in allem klasse. Wir haben uns sauwohl gefühlt :-)

Maison très agréable
La maison est spacieuse, agréable (attention cependant aux nombreuses marches / petites dénivellations), l'environnement est calme, la vue jolie. La piscine était encore un peu fraîche, mais faisait plaisir à voir. C'est bien équipé, la personne qui s'en occupe est d'un contact facile et accommodant. Il faudrait juste actualiser les restaurants recommandés (la plupart étaient fermés, notamment le plus proche). Voiture obligatoire pour les courses, les visites, etc.

De omgeving is mooi, buren zeuren als je buiten zit en met elkaar praat. Ze schreeuwen je dan van alles toe. Huis was prima, wellicht is het tijd dat de badkamers worden gerenoveerd.

Belle vue au calme
Belle maison au calme dans un domaine avec de multiples chambres. La maison est un peu vieille à l'intérieur et mériterait un rafraîchissement mais la piscine juste dehors rattrape le coup. Si vous souhaitez être à proximité de Cannes tout en étant au calme, c'est un bon choix. Un rafraîchissement de la maison rendrait cette location encore plus agréable.

Agréable maison très bien située pour rejoindre Cannes et autres stations balnéaires
Juillet 2017. Séjour d'une semaine avec 4 adolescents. Accueil sympathique et chaleureux du propriétaire. Formalités simples et rapides. La maison est bien équipée et la piscine est très agréable. Environnement calme. Nous y avons passé d'excellentes vacances.

Wir hatten in der schönen Villa, die mitten in den Bergen liegt und einen herrlichen Blick ermöglicht, eine wundervolle Woche. Es hat einfach alles gepasst. Begonnen bei der herzlichen Begrüßung durch den Vermieter, über die große, saubere, gut ausgestattete Villa mit tollem Pool, bis hin zur Lage, denn die Wege ans Meer, nach Monaco oder in die Berge waren recht kurz. Die Angaben im Internet trafen zu. Danke für die schöne Zeit

A lovely stay in Auribeau sur Siagne
We had a very happy time in Villa Franca. Everything you need you will find inside and outside in this real maison provencale. A very nice welcome from the owner. We know the area very well, so easy to go to the beach or the mountains. Beautifull views of the hills ,nice garden. We as a family of 8 persons will remember this week for a long time. Thank you
