Well presented, clean, and cozy, 1-double bedroom apartment, overlooking the new Olympic stadium and the Olympic​ village, in zone 2. It comes with free use of the gym, sauna, and steam room facilities. It sleeps up to 3 people, but is ideal for 1 and/or 2.

This is very clean and tidy, 1 double bedroom flat, within transport zone 2. The apartment is overlooking the Bow river canal and the new Olympic stadium in East London, with excellent travel links. All rooms are very spacious and with modern furniture with plenty of storage space. The kitchen is smaller than the rest of the rooms but very practical and fully equipped. All towels and linen are also provided, together with the welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk, and breakfast cereal for the duration of your stay. Overall, this is an ideal East London base for your vacation and/or work in the city. You will have sole use of the flat during your stay.

£100 per night is based on 2 people staying per night. Furthermore, another sofa bed is situated in the living room, for 3rd person for an extra £30 per night.

The apartment is located in a very safe, gated block of flats on the 2nd floor, with the added luxury of the gym, steam room, and sauna facilities on the ground floor for no extra cost. The gym complex is open daily from 6 AM-11 PM. The concierge is present every weekday from 8 AM-4 PM, and on Saturdays from 8 AM-12 AM.

The apartment is at the back of the building and is very quiet. The only thing that might wake you up in the morning is the sound of ducks from the nearby canal; it is rather therapeutic though. Neighbors are mostly professional couples in their mid-'30s, very quiet, and have no children. There are few restaurants and/or bars close to the building; Dane’s Yard Bar and Restaurant is highly recommended and only a few minutes away.

Free use of gym and steam and sauna facilities is the best bit this place has to offer. It is open daily, from 6 AM until 11 PM and I strongly advise you to use it, - ok, perhaps not the 'torture chambers', sorry, the gym, but definitely the steam room and the sauna. - It gets busier only in the evening, from 7 PM.

The Central House is located on the north side of the High Street. It is a convenient and well connected, accessible location if attending exhibitions or sporting events at Excel and O2 Arena, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park/Stadium, and Victoria Park (Festivals: Field Day, Lovebox, As One In the Park); or if you are working locally, (3 Mills Studios, Stratford, Greenwich, Canary Wharf, Docklands & the City).

The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park offers a fantastic array of sports activities and other attractions. You could swim in the Aquatic Centre, or visit ArcelorMittal Orbit; standing 114.5m tall, with two observation floors, at 76m and 80m, the ArcelorMittal Orbit provides visitors with stunning views over the Park and across London’s famous skyline. Central London is 30 to 40 minutes away, depending on traffic. This is transport zone 2 and travel links are excellent; there are 4 Underground and/or Docklands Light Railway stations, all within 10 to 12 minutes on foot. Your closest station is Pudding Mill Lane, (DLR), and it is 3 minutes away. Bow Road, (DLR), is 6 to 7 minutes away; Bow Church, (Tube) is 8 to 9 minutes away and Bromley-By-Bow, (Tube), is about 10 to 12 minutes away. Please see the pictures for directions.

Stratford International train & bus/coach station is approximately 15 minutes walk away, which provides direct access to Central, Jubilee, DLR, London Overground, and other regional trains services, as well as coaches to Stansted Airport, which depart every 15 minutes.

Among others, bus number 25 operates very frequently and this is a 24-hour service to central London and Oxford Street. On the other hand, if you are a sporty type and prefer cycling, there are 2 Barclay's Cycle Hire docking stations within a 5 minutes walk from my apartment.

Due to the London Olympic Games 2012, the entire Stratford area was vastly regenerated and developed, becoming the main retail hub for East London. Westfield Shopping Centre in Stratford is Europe’s largest urban shopping and leisure center, with more than 250 shops and 70 places to dine. A vast, bustling, covered shopping mall with numerous shops, stocking designer clothes for every pocket as well as high-end, luxury brand stores; an Apple store, a diverse range of food options, a 17-screen multiplex cinema, and a 24hr Casino.

Heading west from Stratford, whether it's towards the trendy Shoreditch for nightlife, bohemian Hackney, London Fields & Victoria Park, or the business districts within The City & Docklands, all are readily accessible via the frequent local bus services.

There are 2 local Tesco shops: Tesco Superstore and Tesco Express, both within 8 to 10 minutes on foot.

I am a 40-year-old photographer and usually, I live here on my own. When rented, my girlfriend (yes I know, sorry ladies, :), gets to have me and sometimes she's very happy about that and sometimes not so much...

* The apartment entry door automatically locks behind you, but you need to manually push and/or pull the doors, depending on if you’re coming or leaving. Obviously, do not leave without the keys and then shut the door; you will not be able to get back in. I know this sounds idiotic and patronizing and I apologize, but please make sure you shut the doors behind you. I have had a very unpleasant experience recently, whereby, guests left the premises without closing the door behind. My flat was left open for 5 hours and I have had to change all the locks.

Definitely not as advertised
First the good points. Dejan was quite quick to respond to inquiries. The apartment is about a 4 minute walk to the DLR. However, 1) there was no coffee maker, 2) the microwave was on the shelf in the hall closet, 3) there is no dining area, as there is a desk in the spot where a table would go. For eating you need to sit on the futons. 4) the furniture that is in the pictures is no longer there. Instead there are 2 quite uncomfortable futons to sit on. 5) The kitchen floor tiles are taped with black duct tape to hold them together. He has strategically placed a large mat to cover up most of that and the pictures that are on the site do not indicate this at all. 6) The flooring in the hallway is also taped together and covered up with a mat. 7) the bathroom is very tired and the the use of the shower taps is tricky. 8) the building is located on a major road that is used by heavy-duty gravel trucks that run until past 11 pm. 9) the way that the address is listed is quite confusing. I could not and neither could our Uber driver figure out which number was actually the building number and which number was the apartment number. 10) it also seems that the owner, Dejan, stays there part-time as his clothes were in half of the closet and dresser space. We found this quite disconcerting as this was totally unexpected until we got the final instructions about 2 days before arriving. 11) Certain food items were promised on our arrival and those items were not provided. I am not sure how the other reviewers arrived at their glowing reports of the apartment. I took this apartment based on their reviews and I was very disappointed with the state of the apartment when we arrived. So, all in all, the lovely pictures are quite deceiving.

East London stay
We were here for 6 nights. Prior to our visit, Dejan was very responsive and helpful. Apartment is spotless, modern and everything is as shown in the pictures. There's a bus stop in front of the building and overground station few minutes away. It was perfect for our short vacation and we'd recommend this to all visitors. Oh, and free sauna and steam room was a great bonus.

The host with the most
Dejan is a great host, very quick to answer all your questions and very easy to talk to. The flat itself is clean, cosy, quiet and immaculately presented. We stayed at Dejan’s for full 3 weeks and felt at home from day one. Travel connections are plenty and although there are no bars or restaurants in the close proximity, Stratford is only one stop away, where there are many. Truly wonderful experience.

Awesome place
Dejan's place was awesome! Very close to public transportation and a massive Westfield shopping centre, (there's a bus stop in front of the building and an overground line, around the corner. The flat is extremely clean, spacious, and quiet. Dejan was quick to answer all our questions and very accommodating indeed. I would definitely recommend his flat.

On arrival to the property Dejan the host was,very helpful and couldn't do enough for me. Give me a very detailed explanation about the property and surrounding area. The property is clean and with everything I needed to make my stay comfortable. Dejan was always at the other end of the phone if I needed any thing. Very close to Westfield and other shops. Westfield hosting a variety of eateries and great for transport links. When ever I'm back in that area Dejan will be my first port of call.

Loved it. Recommended.
We had a great stay in Dejan’s flat. It was super clean and very comfortable. The flat is very safe, with closed gates and concierge. Dejan was kind enough to let us get an early check in, (3AM!!!), which we really appreciated. The flat itself is spacious for a 1-bedroom, exceptionally clean and with easy access to central London.

Very Covenient
We stayed in apartment for 4 weeks and it had everything we required. It is located close to Pudding Mill Lane (DLR) and is about a 15 min walk to Stratford Station and Westfield Shopping Centre. I walked there on a regular basis through the Olympic Park which is great. As you enter the park, located to your right is viewtube, where you can hire bikes and also lessons are available to learn to ride a bike (which I did). There is also a lovely café which, unfortunately we didn't try but really wanted to.

Buena relación calidad-precio.
El propietario, Dejan, es una persona encantadora, y además nos facilitó toda la información necesaria para llegar e instalarnos sin problemas, adaptándose a nuestra llegada del vuelo. El apartamento está muy limpio y cuidado y todo funciona. Está un poco alejado del centro, pero realmente la comunicación es muy buena: metro con Central Line y el autobús 25 te deja en Oxford Street. Repetiría.

Excellent Location, Clean & tidy Apartment
Dejan's apartment is so lovely and clean. We had a fantastic 2 weeks in his apartment. This apartment has all the essentials you need and is presented really well. Dejan was so lovely to take us in on the same day we phoned for accommodation. This meant he had to clean up and move out on the same day, which we understand would of been a hassle for him, however he made no complaint of it. He was even kind enough to let us store our luggage for the day while he prepared it so we could go out to the shops and pubs at Stratford. We chose to prepare and cook at a lot of of our meals at home and Dejan's kitchen is well equipped for that. Tesco's is only a 10 minute walk to the superstore or a 6 minute walk to the mini store. This apartment is close to the DLR line (Pudding Mill) which connects you with Bow or Stratford, meaning you can take the central line into the city. There is also a bus stop outside which can take you up to Stratford in less than 10 minutes. I highly recommend this apartment if you are staying in London for a few days or a few weeks.

We enjoy to spent these 4 nice days in this flat, very convenient, Dejan was waiting to welcome us. The flat is close to Stratford station (5mn by bus, several line direct). Flat is as on the picture, clean and practice. Grocery store is at 5 mn walking. I recommend this property. Franck Regards

Just what we were looking for!
It was perfect! This flat was just what we were looking for. It was very comfortable and provided everything we needed. The location was a little far from city center, but still only a few minute walk from the DLR which connected to the tube at Stratford. It was a great location in that the area felt very safe and it has a nice view of the Olympic stadium. We were there for a week and really enjoyed our time. Dejan was an amazing host was always available to answer any questions we had. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and hope to stay here when we return to London. Thank you Dejan!!! :)

Excellent value!
This is a lovely property; very clean and tidy and I thoroughly enjoyed my short term stay here. The host is very punctual and communication was prompt and without delay. The best thing about the property is the use of the gym complex, at least for me. I would not hesitate to stay here again in the future; highly recommended indeed.
