About the host
Hosted by Martin Luecke

I am past president of the Windsor Park Neighborhood Association and currently sit on the Mueller Development Commission appointed by the City Council. I am the neighborhood handyman and home remodeler. I have lived in Austin most of the past 40 years. I have won the Barton Springs diving contest four times. I won many a mountain bike race back when I did that kind of thing. These days my favorite trail is Walnut Creek Park in North Austin. I raised two wonderful children in this house we call LueckeVille.
Why they chose this property
This was the first house we looked at, back at a time when the airport was six blocks away and I ran a jet air ambulance service. The house had been recently remodeled and everything was new, and then I saw the back yard, which is long enough to throw a football. I knew that was a great place for kids to grow up. I bought it on the spot.
What makes this property unique
The open kitchen design was a new concept when the house was built, so it makes dinner and entertaining fun. I have wired the stereo so it is in almost every room, plus the back yard. The grill is easy to operate and the hot tub is the last stop of the night!
