Mar Azul contains 72 privately owned apartments which are all if highest standard, Mar Azul offers all luxury like Wellness facilities, an great pool with Mediterranean views, Gibraltar and even Africa on clear days. This apartment contains 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, terrace, Siemens kitchen with all appliances available.
Sat tv and Bang&Olufsen stereo equipment available. Apartment has been decorated by Spanish designer and is all in great condition, the same applies to the lounge facilities on our terrace.

The location of Mar Azul is very attractive for spending your holiday, nextdoor is the famous Hotel Kempinski including award winning restaurants. One can also rent kayaks, sailboats and jetski's. A few minutes walk you will find Laguna village ( which has a number of designer shops and restaurants.
Breathtaking is the Puro Beach club including a pool and restaurant (
Also other typical Spanish restaurants are available for moderate prices, too much to choose from, according to Tripadvisor the area has around 300 restaurants with great ratings from other guests.
Next to the beach and pool children can enjoy Selwo parc which is an African wildlife area where you can take tours.

Excellent apartment in a beautiful resort

The apartment was absolutely wonderful and Leslie was a pleasure to deal with. Everything was in full working order and as seen in the pictures. We would definitely recommend!

Fantastic

I stayed at a different apartment in the same complex 3 years ago. The Mar Azul is beautifully situated on the beachfront next door to the fabulous Kempinski Hotel. Leslie’s apartment is totally gorgeous. It is very tastefully furnished & she has included every amenity necessary for a comfortable stay. The beds are comfortable & bed linen & towels are good quality. The kitchen is well equipped & even includes a coffee machine and Nespresso milk frother. There is a large balcony which has sunbeds, a dining table & sofa. Perfect for watching the sunset. Absolutely love this place & will be back again. Thank you Leslie for an incredible holiday!

NO ES ORO TODO LO QUE RELUCE

La propiedad es tal cual las fotografías, pero la limpieza, bajo mi punto de vista, era insuficiente, se notaba que se había realizado de forma rápida y sin ninguna precisión ( en las circunstancias actuales eso para mi es imperdonable ). Los suelos estaban mal fregados, los asientos de todos los sillones estaban muy sucios, hacía mucho tiempo que no se habían lavado y eran desenfundables, las toallas bastante gastadas pedían a gritos un poco de lejía. Y no habían dejado ningún producto para limpiar, ni un básico. Me tocó dedicarle unas horas a ir a comprar algo y limpiar. Y a esto hay que sumar que pudimos entrar en el apartamento después de las 17:30 h porque no lo habían terminado de limpiar. Después de lo que has pagado por cada día de alquiler..... En fin, un poco decepcionante en ese sentido.

Lovely apartment overlooking the sea

Lovely spacious apartment. Everything you could need for a trouble-free stay is included. The apartment complex is lovely. The pool is amazing and during our stay was never too busy. The apartment is right next to the sea. The nearest beach is a bit stony but there is a sandy beach about 5 minutes walk away. There is a nearby development with a couple of restaurants nearby. Estapona itself is a short drive away (or a long walk). Supermarkets are also nearby but you will probably need a car to make the best use of those. All in all a great apartment in a great location, I have no reservations in recommending this place.

Why they chose this property

The reason we have bought this apartment can be summarized as follows:

1. luxury of a hotel and privacy of your own apartment
2. all inclusive with pool gym wellness and privacy
3. the area is very diverse, Puerto Banus and Marbella offer the scene which we like during summer and Estepona is a lovely small town which is still typical Spanish and cheap!

Mar Azul is right in the middle of all of this
