Come and enjoy our recently remodeled turn of the century farmhouse just miles from Silver Falls State Park, the Oregon Garden, Santiam Canyon, and the fifteen wineries of the Cascade Foothill wine growers. Our farmhouse, which has been in the family for 60 years, is located just north of the quaint town of Sublimity. The location is an ideal starting point for many wonderful activities. Whether hiking the 10 Falls of Silver Creek or challenging yourself on single track biking trails, outdoor activities are minutes away.

The Farmhouse

The recently updated Farmhouse simply feels cozy - just like your own home. We strive to give it a warm feeling and provide a place of refuge during your travels. The first floor consists of large bright living areas, a spacious kitchen, sunroom, master bedroom, and two full bathrooms. The upstairs has three bedrooms, a full bathroom, and a common room with a television. The well appointed kitchen will provide you with everything you need to create a culinary masterpiece for your family and friends. The french doors in the dining room open to a sunroom appointed with ample seating and an old fashion porch swing.

Great house

This house was great for me and my family to stay at for a wedding. We all got our own rooms to sleep in, the kids loved the game room and there was plenty of space to spread out in for the 10 people that were there. The host answered any questions very quickly and was also quick with any issues that came up. Highly recommend!!!

Just what we were looking for

The farmhouse was just the rental we were looking for when we visited family that moved to the area about a year ago. The house was clean, cozy, and offered lots of space for my immediate family plus local family that came for dinner. As someone who enjoys cooking, I loved how well-stocked the kitchen was -- it honestly had everything some bonuses like baking goods, spices, etc. The game room was a huge bonus as it kept my kids entertained during the rain. Chris was a gracious host and very responsive. We would definitely stay again!

Above and beyond!

Not only did we love the house, but Chris was very helpful, reaching out to help us with some changes to our plans and offering his help. We had plenty of space for everyone, the kids loved the games in the garage and s'mores at the fire pit, the setting was peaceful - it was the perfect home base for our family reunion. We are already thinking of when we can come back!

Exceeded expectations

This was a great home base for exploring Silver Falls. Our only regret is not booking a longer stay. The farm cat was cute, the property owner was a delight, and the amenities were excellent. Highly recommend this place to anyone who is considering staying here.

We were in town to attend a family event in Silverton. This was a great, wide open property that had all the amenities. The host(s) were great and everything you could possibly want is at this house. I would not hesitate to stay there again!

Relaxing farmhouse!

We picked this stay due to its location to the silver falls state park. Our group of 8 adults planned hiking the trail of ten waterfalls, and the farmhouse is located nearby. The house is spacious and offered plenty of room. We enjoyed the back yard and its amenities for a pleasant evening! Chis was very helpful in showing us the house and was nearby if needed. We felt at home there! Loved Nick the cat, he joined us while we were outside visiting. It was a wonderful stay and would recommend this home!

Beautiful spacious home with every amenity

The house is huge and plenty of room for everybody to spread out. Very clean with cute decor. We could’ve hosted a large family reunion dinner in the sunroom. It’s huge! Corn hole, covered patio with tables chairs and fire pit table. Chris, the caretaker was so nice and greeted us with a dozen eggs and coffee. Kitchen Included cooking oil, spices and even chilled coffee creamer. Games, puzzles and an adorable guard cat named Nick! Will recommend this home to everyone!

Hidden Gem Farmhouse

The vibe of this farmhouse is so relaxing and has so much to offer. The best part was drinking my morning tea on the swing. I highly recommend staying here. Chris you are wonderful host and so welcoming. Thank you for opening your home to us. We will definitely stay here again.

Nostalgia, Large, Farmhouse

This home is even better in person. Thoughtfully decorated farmhouse, though updated and comfortable, still reminded me of my childhood grandparents farmhouse. Home is large enough for a family of 11! Host was instantly responsive, generous and kind. Beds very comfortable with alot of pillows and blankets. House spotlessly clean. Backyard is beautiful and safe. Seriously, I would never believe it sits only 30 min away from big city Salem. Hope to stay here again with more time to enjoy Silverfalls.

Great weekend stay

My husband and I host an annual weekend away for our adult kids, grandkids and us. Typically we stay at Mt Rainier and hike in the area. We decided to visit Silver Falls this year and had a wonderful time. This place is huge…plenty of together space and plenty of space to find a quiet place to read or nap. We arrived to a spotless home that had all we needed and then some! Super nice family that have had it in their family 60+ years. Highly recommend! PS: and yes, Nick the cat did not disappoint!

Friends Silver Falls Getaway

Chris, the host is great and very communicative. The house is definitely an old farmhouse full of charm. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked. The outdoor area is great for cornhole, fireside singing or hanging. And all the guys loved the game room. And it’s only about 15 minutes to Silver Falls State Park.

Excellent Place

Amazing location as well as amazing home! Very clean as well as the amenities! The cat was very kind and friendly and I would definitely recommend this place to others. The fire pitch was calm and you could feel warm in the night and you can see the stars in the sky. Also there was no sight of mosquitoes around. The host, Chris was very welcoming to us and guided our family around the house.

Perfect location for a family get away, but close also to amenities

There were 6 of us, then 8, then 10. One 17 year old & the rest adults. This property provided it all for us -- space to play games, to eat meals together, to sleep cool, to see Silver Falls, to pick our own blueberries and even space to "get away" from the others for quiet "me" time. We used the gas firepit, the gas grill, the basketball hoop, the bags/cornhole, and loved the outside seating. Our family who lived close brought their croquet set which was perfect! Nick (the cat) got plenty of attention from most of our guests. We found all of the pots/pans/dishes we needed to cook. Chris and his family are so welcoming without being intrusive. What a gift to stay in their family farm house.
